      Hard for a Mississippi man to pass up ha ha I don't harvest much but the boys down south would love this lake. Good eats for the taking.

      Yes, Saddle Tramp I was thinking how delicious they would be too! Maybe we can all make one of his invitational fishing trips someday. Everyone is so busy and it makes it difficult to attend.

    Ive been hitting raystown a good bit the past 2 years and have been loving it. My favorite is picking up a pound of fatheads and going perch jerkin'. Its such a blast

      @@randallrydes love striper fishing catfish and lake trout at raystown as your channel proves is amazing…went out this past weekend caught a 30” striper on a jerk bait close to midnight launched at snyders

    Nice fishies man.
    That's not the right knot for the hook though.That eye is upturned from the point of the hook and needs to be snelled.Tying it right to the eye will make the point rock away from the fish's mouth,think of the upturned part of the eye as the fulcrum of a seesaw.I forget who has the YT vid of tying the snell the right way,they also show what tying it the wrong way does,but I'll look for it and send it to you through FB.
    If you're around Tue or Wed since it supposed to the better days and not much wind,I'm going for Crappie,might throw one of my cat rods in the vehicle too.Just haven't decided exactly where yet but def going,prob be the last for me for the year.
    Looked to be Carp starting their prespawn from the vid post date.They'll chase and hit smaller lures and jigs constantly then.

    • @randallrydes
      @randallrydes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You are right. I'll learn the snell knot.

    @glenspargo3376 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Wow Randall, I envy how you have good places to fish and have the ability to bring them in! I am one fish eating dude so I usually try to keep a few for table fare, but I usually do my fishing at the supermarket or one of the local restaurants. I have got to do a few things to my motorcycle and pack my tent for a fishing trip and get you to show me where you do your bank fishing! Later man!

    • @randallrydes
      @randallrydes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Glen. That's very kind of you to say. We should harvest and eat fish. The health benefits alone are reason enough. Fishing from the bike would be fun.

    That really doesn’t look like carp spawning to me, looks like a bass chasing something maybe too big for it to eat. Carp spawning don’t come out of the water that much or swim around that fast
