    He didn't blame porn on his problems on his murders! He said that it contributed to it

      Police never found any pornography at any of his residences that they searched, and hard core pornography wasn't available back then anyway. There were no videotapes. Bundy was playing a game with the televangelist who was trying to use Bundy to advance a political campaign against pornography. Ironically, since Bundy was a result of an incestuous relationship between Bundy's grandfather and his mother, if safe and legal abortion had been available back then, Bundy would not have been born. Also, if Bundy had been given a life sentence, it would have been possible for the identity and remains of all his victims may have been found. I think that would have done more for the families of his victims than his death did.

      @@generationofswine-ge5rw they haven’t been able to verify that claim about his father. There’s a lot of speculation tho.

      I can’t count how many outright falsehoods aka lies you just spewed in your ridiculous rant. If you relied on anything other than your own imagination and actually attempted a kernel of research you’d know a DNA test confirmed Ted was NOT fathered by Samuel Cowell, his maternal grandfather. Try that for starters boy genius.

    Proud to call Kevin Sullivan a friend . He’s a great writer with many interests and insights . Always a pleasure to listen his interviews . Ted Bundy has always been a fascinating enigma to me so I enjoy Kevin’s books and others written about Bundy

    BUNDY was not a big or a weight lifting powerful man but, he was an in shape thin and muscular thus, meaning he after trial and error where, some of the girls escaped he adjusted and increased his level of brutality to without fail earn his KILL
    Showing unfortunately that a Deranged Psycopath can brutally overpower a Woman and Kill her and there's nothing she can do unless carrying a gun or highly trained in Karate will stop someone as determined and obsessed as Bundy
    to end young womens lives

    In Oregon, in the summer of 1971 I was approached in a public place by a young, well dressed man who said he would "choke" me. His eyes were dead and crazy scary like Ted's. I had no doubt but that this man intended to kill me though he could not have even tried anything in that particular place. I have reasons to believe the man was Bundy but cannot prove one way or another. Mentally I link my experience with a murder or disappearance in Klamath Falls, Oregon a week or so after my incident. I have written more in depth about my experience in other places. The only reason to mention it here is to offer information if it fits with anything else.
    In the last couple years another woman from Utah gave an interview to"People" magazine, describing Ted giving her a ride and trying to choke her. She got away and floated down a river or something similar to fully escape. I don't read much about Ted because of my experience and seeing his picture is upsetting to me. My overall interest in true crime stems partly from this experience. My vague understanding was that Ted hit women in the head with blunt objects. I was shocked that this woman that got away said he had choked her.
    I was also in the same area when Ted abducted the two women from the beach. I am not from Washington but happened to be there at that time, fortunately with my husband and a male friend of his. I remember the fear and the feeling that a predator might snatch a woman at will.

    What about Rhonda Stapley her story sounds convincing but the whole being swept into a river to escape bundy sounds about to Hollywood but stranger things have happened

      Who would be more likely to circumvent reality or convention here, Rhonda or Ted... 🤔

    • @killereverb3928
      @killereverb3928 3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Stapley is an outright fraud. Unfortunately she did not meet any physical criteria of Ted’s whatsoever. She has been homely every day of her life. Ted on his most desperate for a victim day in his career as a serial killer would never ever have picked out Stapley as a victim. She has ZERO corroboration for her fantasy story whatsoever. She is an absolute disgrace to each and every actual victim of Ted Bundy and deserves no recognition other than being disturbed enough to try and associate herself as a bonafide Ted victim that survived. Shame on her and her damned pack of lies!!!

    Well, i don't know, early signs point to scaring his aunt with knives, etc. so the fact that he didn't at least get therapy for that can be laid at his mother's feet. But I'm not doing the blame game, everything he did he did because he was an absolute horror of a human being. Born with something very much screwed up in his head. I do wonder if therapy would have made a difference tho, even just a counselor.

    Can anyone answer why he was doing it and why he was beating the victims on the head?

    • @jh5588
      @jh5588 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Ted was asked in a prison interview why he did it and answer was “ Because I liked it” just that simple and chilling. He hit his victims over the head as early as possible to silence and incapacitate them.

    • @ryandavis7762
      @ryandavis7762 ปีที่แล้ว

      The hitting over the head was to neutralize the victim so he can have sex with her unconscious body or corpse.
      When violence becomes entwined with sexual satisfaction or release this creates a sexual deviant.
      This may have been genetic or trauma in the house or environment at a young age.

    This was a great interview and I learned some thing I did not already know! Too bad Bundy's first girlfriend, Diane Edwards, never came out of the woodwork to add her two cents worth to the story. You have to wonder if Liz ever tried to talk to Louise Bundy about Ted, after he was caught and called Liz from FL and pretty much admitted he was guilty.

    • @MrAngel1398

      Hes not.. hes telling the story of Ted Bundy and to help ppl understand what Ted was all about. Obviously Ted was a cold hearted killer but people want to wrap their heads around this whole thing and people like Sullivan help tell the story of Bundy in the most Comprehensive way...hence his book, "The Bundy Murders: A Comprehensive History". Theres my opinion even tho u didnt ask for it but my point is nobody is glorifying Ted. At least Kevin Sullivan isnt hes just trying to help ppl understand how, when, and most importantly WHY.

      It’s never mentioned but worth acknowledging, it was a total of 3 knives. To hear the story they make it appear as though Bundy had 59 blades all pointed at his Aunt!

    Do you really have such a visceral need for recognition that you give yourself 80% of the screen.....it is a bit megalomaniac
