THANK YOU for interviewing my favorite True Crime writer ever, KEVIN M. SULLIVAN. I have all his books & hope he will write more.

Bundy told Liz it started in 1969. I think it did and he is good for those two women in New Jersey ... if not more, including Ann Marie Burr.

Good interview despite the technical difficulties. I have read all but his last book on Bundy.
I think there should be one last book written on Bundys possible victims.
    Thanks again.

If I have to hear him tell the story of the Bundy burglar kit one more time I’m going to shoot myself. Good god - please tell a different story - every man woman an child in the Western Hemisphere has heard about that damn ski mask crowbar handcuff kit!!!! Enough!!!!!

I don’t believe Ted was able to carry Linda Healy from her basement bedroom. To carry a limp body through her roommates room and up a few steps to the basement door would have been extremely difficult for anyone. I think she was badly hurt but somewhat lucid and she walked out with him so disoriented she wasn’t aware of her situation. Similar to how he described the Georgeann Hawkins murder.

There are photos of the crime scene, and it shows the stairs leading directly outside. Bundy did not carry her past her sleeping roommates.

So, after that diatribe in court he still wanted to confess and take the deal? That doesn't seem to jive with what Bundy said subsequently, and maybe Manerva misunderstood. That or, Bundy was trying to set up the basis for an appeal AFTER taking the deal - i.e. "I confessed because my lawyers told me I had to but I now feel I was not adequately represented and I had even fired them before taking it..."

Sure - the guy is too drunk to stand so you offer to pour him into his car to drive the black ice and slushy roads of Snowmass! Do you always help drunk drivers get behind the wheel?

@Smrtomira - It’s worth noting the author Kevin Sullivan knows Ted was charged with having “burglary tools” with the subject bag. Sullivan calls it the “murder kit” because it sounds more provocative. Once Ted was dead any such “evidence” really had no evidentiary value.
