I got mine around 3 weeks ago at 90,387 miles on it.
Runs like a jet engine, zero problems at all. 24th special edition in little england.

Must be multiple variations of this car. I have a 97 celica st limited edition and it is the same except for the stereo. Mine has just 1 CD slot under the tape deck and mine doesn't have cruise control. It's also a 5 speed manual. I love my Celica and would never get rid of it. I have had mine since 97 when my parents bought it for me as my first vehicle. It has 115k miles and has never had any work done to it. It's had 4 batteries, 1 clutch and basic oil changes and maintenance but that's it. It's hard to believe that a 23 year old car is only on the 2nd clutch which was done only about 3k miles ago and the AC blows ice cold. We have a 2015 Toyota RAV4 and it doesn't blow as cold as the Celica and has had more work done on it. Also my clutch engages almost at the floor.you only have to lift up about 2 inches before it engages.

as a first time manual transmission car owner coming from an automatic, I just got a 96 celica st 5spd manual. The clutch engagement is definitely weird to me, as i test driven other manual cars. I thought it was purely my beginner experience making it feel odd.
