I'm surprised you don't see yourself as a maternal because you have always seemed very nurturing to us as viewers and your patients! Funny you said it as you comforted your puppy. It will come naturally to you the more you trust yourself. I'm excited for you both, and your lucky baby!
Cute! 🤗 I love how your husband makes eye contact with you & seems sincerely connected to you & your experience! Experiencing pregnancy firsthand must be such a fulfilling experience as an ObGyn. God bless! Enjoy the adventure!
So interesting to hear about PPD & PPA in men and partners. I’ve never heard of that, but it makes so much sense. After my first baby 12 years ago I went to my Dr about both and she told me to eat more vegetables and lose weight 🥴 I had a terrible time with little support. We’ve come so far as a society.
Your dogs are so cute. What breeds are they? BTW……I love your channel. You’re so informative and fun to watch. Also, you look great during your pregnancy.
how are you doing Doctr? I have a question for you my wife she has 29 weeks and the doctor say that she have to be every week in the hospital because baby too small do you thing that’s normal to be in the hospital every week and have ultra sounds be in aspirin and thyroid medication? Please let me know thank you
I am 29 and me and my partner are hoping to start trying when I am 35, we only plan to have one. Do you think this is a healthy plan or should we start earlier? Also what career would you do if you weren't a doctor? Congratulations on your pregnancy, you are glowing
My advice as someone who started trying at 35 and ended up doing IVF… just go get a baseline fertility test for you and partner. Then you can make an informed decision about when to start.
We started trying when I was 35 and a half (similar situation been together forever, both healthy, didn't think we'd have issues). A year later and after 4 chemical pregnancies (most are caused by chromosomal abnormalities) we were put on the waiting list for IVF (in Italy where we are, after 35 a few cycles are paid for by the national healthcare system). I got pregnant the month before we were meant to start after 1 year and 7 months of trying. Currently at 22 weeks. Please don't underestimate the decline in egg quality after 30 and especially after 35. Speaking to a fertility specialist is always a good idea. Good general health (being still young) does not guarantee fertility. Best of luck x
I'm a mom of two boys (30 and 25) never liked babies or kids! At 33 my urge to have a baby struck, I had multiple miscarriages and my youngest was conceived after 3 years of IVF... so yes, I love my children but still don't care about other people's children. So i guess I've only got maternal instincts towards my own children. 🤷
I can understand that. I did & do have the desire to get pregnant &have babies when not pregnant! But I was never really maternal or drawn to kids. Now that I'm pregnant with baby 3 I am maternal with my kids & I can be with other people's kids .... but to be maternal with other kids I have to be intentional, it's not natural lol
I think in america the protectiv fathers for their daughters are more popular than here in switzerland. Maybe because of hollywood.. you just have to watch hannah montana and how her dad is acting towards her and to her brother.. big difference.. lile she‘s not able to pick her boyfriend by her own
Not cause of Hollywood. Generally fathers that care about their daughter's or son's spiritual & physical well-being will be more protective. In the case of boyfriends, the father will be more involved to ID any ungodly or incompatible men.
Homeschooled children are less snobby, more intellectual, and more social than indoctrinated children are stuck in walls of cinder blocks. They can and do relate to more people, varying ages and there are co-ops and different schools for homeschool! They are WAY more advanced.Consider it :)

This is so sweet! Thank you for saying that🥰😭

A MASSIVE suggestion for a baby's brain development is to teach the baby Spanish and English. Cory can learn Spanish while the baby is :)
I would love you all to move to Wyoming as we need a great OB dr

35+ is considered advanced maternal age and risk of complications goes up...
