Always very interesting videos I have a good assortment of all 3 types of buildings but I agree fantastic plastic is much easier to work with have a great weekend Bob
I have 3 WS assembled buildings and a few of their kits. Well worth what I paid.....much less years ago when they came out. I wish they still made the kits. Thx
I agree on the plastic structures. There are plentiful options to choose from, both ready-made and kit form. I look for the kits because I enjoy assembling and painting my own with craft paint and kit bashing them to meet my needs. I found the Woodland Scenics motorcycle shop kit and kit bashing it to a tractor shop instead. Nobody seems to make a period style, decent farm implement shop for 0-scale. HO seems to get all the attention to the finer details. All types of farm related industries are available in that scale.
Unfortunately I live in the communist state of California. Many Menards products can’t be shipped here for some ridiculous reason. Keep up the good work Bob. Happy trains.
Don't wory bob I'll go ahead and say it I'm cheep to 😅 my bike shop by manards a lot difrent than scenics shop has a lot smaller foot print have some scenics modles they are nice the door factory looks lot like brewery by manards like manards buildings nice for the price but quality not perfect but considering price it's worth it
I do prefer plastic buildings and the press materials they use can b challenging if u want to modify them also have heard in some unconditioned basements they can be problematic but if ur train is in unconditioned area u probly have more problems than just buildings like rusted rails and trains
Woodland Scenics buildings are top on my list. And their Just Plug lighting system is terrific. Thanks Bob ! 👍
@@jamesmelchin2873 I might have to get one. The woodland scenics stuff looks really good.

Thanks Dave. How’s your layout coming along? Your Silver Streak video on it (& the Amtrak turboliner) are still 2 of my favorite videos.
@@bobsworkshop5181 Kinda slow this summer.....hope to do a lot this fall/winter. thx

I wouldn’t care about motorcycles either. If I had one, I’d turn it into a little automotive restoration shop. Thanks for watching !
My Sprecher Brewery is always a conversation piece. I would love to modify two of them into Elsinore Brewery.
Did Woodland Scenics make that brewery too?
Hi Bob it took me a minute to figure out morrison door co. But of coursen Jim Morrison and the Doors
@@kensbackshop6399 I never thought of that before. It makes sense!
I liked that "Tommy Boy" building also Bob. Did you eat paint chips when you were a kid?😂😂😂
Sometimes, I think that I did.
@@bobsworkshop5181 😂😂😂 funny movie.
Stick with Menards, you can't go wrong.

Stuff from Menards can’t even be shipped to you in California? Train stuff?
@@seantyrrell4215 What if you bought it through trainz.com or eBay?
@@seantyrrell4215 what if you bought Menards trains though eBay or Trainz dot com?
@@bobsworkshop5181 Nope. Lots of buildings cannot be shipped to California. Stuck buying them on eBay for double the price. Sad.

A lot of people have Menards on their layouts. 🎃

These model buildings remind me of the TV/movies set . There very similar details on the outside and nothing inside.
They’d cost even more with interiors.
