I had to pack up my last layout at my parents in 1987 and never had a chance to start again until very recently, so just 36 years! Not a loft or garage but a bike shed in Thailand! Just found your channel and I must say it’s inspiring. Thank you for posting. Maybe ask the folks for a Velux, would really make the loft. 😉
Thanks for your kind words! I keep packing in the hobby but never stay away for long. I'm hoping to only be in the loft for a year or two so the velux may be a bit extreme but I will definitely be looking into better ventilation.
superp model railway, i am currently building a model railway, i have a viaduct like yours built from the wills viaduct kit, but what done was add 2 wills stone sheets to the piers making the viaduct much taller i am very pleased with the result.
Your video has just popped up in my watch list and I am fascinated by what you have achieved. I am going to have to catch up with your other videos. Congratulations on your demonstration of your skills. Roy.
Dahm... And there I was hoping to be focused on work this morning 😂 Jesus those backgrounds put mine to shame and I was pleased with mine 😂😂😂 Would be great to capture the process of laying down the scenics. I'd certainly like to make something look that realistic. Fantastic job 👏
I'm lucky to have today mostly off! Backscene video hopefully coming next week. Im no artist by any means but I've learnt a few tricks. I might well make a more how to based scenery video in future
@@HorsehayRailwayModeller does pay having carved out the time to focus on it. One thing I have is it's usually few hours here and there in evening's. Love the realism you create on your scenes. Really is brilliant.
Hi David. I do enjoy watching your progress. You have a balance between explaining and modelling that I find just right. I have one criticism, which is that the new intro has too many flashing images at speed. I have to fast forward. Regards Steve
@@dinmorejunctionmodelrailway not offended at all mate sorry if I came across that way!! 😊 Will look at changing the intro before next week's video. I was a little concerned it my be to flicker. I'll slow it down a bit and see if it looks okay
A couple of the 'big name' youtubers have got a bit stale recently. Good to find someone else with a great layout and excellent presentation skills.
Thank you very much
Oh, do tell!
Great modelling; the effects and details you have put in. Looking forward to more especially filmed detailing.
What a wonderful layout, your houses, scenery and gardens perfectly capture the beauty of the English countryside.
Many thanks!
That is fantastic modelling you have done, capturing a time and atmosphere in history.
Thank you very much
Brilliant scenery making...love the trees, bushes, and roses etc..
Thank you!

Very realistic looking layout, coming along nicely
There's so much inspiration in your videos, thank you for taking the time to share them
Thank you very much, I must admit I enjoy editing and sharing the videos as well as actually modelling the railway.
Best scenery I ever saw ! So much detail !
@@pim1234 Thank you very much, lots more detail planned!
Nice detailing of scenery etc. Also I appreciate your efforts to hide all tight curves.

Hi Steve, thanks again for your compliments. As for the intro I'll have a look at slowing it down or changing it slightly.
@HorsehayRailwayModeller Don't be offended, please. I'm a support of your channel, why because I genuinely enjoy your content

Lovely, subtle scenery, well done!
Double thumbs up from me.
@@ProfPtarmigan Thank you very much
Rope ladder would be a possible addition for the treehouse
That's a great idea. I'll look at what I can come up with.
I was given your channel by Lewis of Mouldyraspberry channel
Wow, amazed to hear he's heard of my channel!
