Glad to know there are other 30-somethings out there who wanna break into tattooing. Seems like a bigger challenge with a house/family to take care of but we can do it.

Everyone has their own way of approaching things. It doesn’t mean that the passion isn’t there. The form of art comes in many different forms. I’m sure older artists no matter the type of artist didn’t surround themselves tons of people before they released something amazing to the world. I believe most artists create the best art when they’re in their own thought process, it just so happens that it’s usually when they’re alone.Jon,Matt, and Gabe I absolutely love your podcast guys very interesting topics

I can do realism portraits nearly perfect. But when i pick up my tattoo machine to practise it looks like a toddler used it. Also, on Apprenticeships, ive been to every shop in my town. Its HEAVILY gate kept. New people go free range because we're all told by these people not expect anything for 5 years and grind. I taught myself programming and can run multi million dollar machines. Challenge accepted then. I'll do it myself.

You can learn by yourself. But nothing will replace learning from someone with many years of experience. People want an easy answer to a hard question. It’s not easy to get an apprenticeship. It’s not easy to be a professional tattooer. But if you want it bad enough you will figure out how to manage it.

I was waiting and waiting for the tattoo content and it never came. Also, in Christianity all sins are equal in the eye of God. You cant just pick and choose which sins. Marking the body is a sin according to the Bible. Soo yeah.
