Why These Tattoo Artists HATE Instagram (and what they're doing instead!)
Paul booth is the first professional tattoo artist i ever heard of when I was a kid and for good reason
I would love to get tattooed by Paul I remember being a kid and seeing he’s work in magazines and just being enamored and wanting to learn how to do he’s style
TRY WATCHIN THAI PROGRAM TATTOO BROTHER THEY SHOW HIPS OF THE TATTOO SENSE AND THEY HAVE A SHOP THEY LIKE GO TO FUNERAL EVERYDAY N T TATTOO THEY ARE SO ❤ GOOD ABOUT BLACK WORK AND I JUST WANNA LET YOU WATCH THEM AND.....THE REST UP 2 YOU JAGED OR COMMENT FR U⁉️❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥💀☠️☠️☠️
AND HEY WHAT TATTOO MACHINE S YOU USED "ABSOLUTELY COILS"RIGHT ⁉️⁉️⁉️
WHEN U N FILIP LUE START DOING A CONVENTION (HAVE YOU SEE SOME OF THE WORK THAT THEY CALL "BLACK WORK" 😤🤔IN MY OPINION YOUR DARK SIDE IS 👍👍👍👍👍💀☠️💀☠️🏆
JACK RUDY MARK MAHONEY HEY PAUL HERE IN THAILAND TO WHEN YOU TUK TUK BEND ON THE SIDE ‼️ THAT YOU SIT IN KAOSAAN ‼️ REMEMBER ⁉️‼️⁉️
พอล บู๊ทPAUL BOOTHS 🕐🕜🕑 GOES FAST I HAVE 1OF YOUR DESIGN THE EYES 👀 AND SOME OF YOUR ART💀💀☠️❌❌❌
I was getting my apprenticeship for tattooing in 2016 for 6 months would go to it after i got done with work and was learning alot, set up and tear down of stations, biuld and tear down my coil machines. Then life happens and had to stop that part of my life because i needed to work more. I practice on fake skins and on myself.
Dude.. I feel this so hard.. I've been PRESSURED to use AI.. I wanna use my own soul, my own actual artistic talent to make something significant.. I'm an artist.. I want my art. I want to make it myself.
This is probably the most wholesome person I have seen on the show. I absolutely feel in love with him and fully felt all his love and excitement. I'm excited to use hustle butter and would love to meet him one day. Really speaks with his heart and is a beautiful encouraging example of the kind of energy I want to bring to my future tattooing career. All the love.
Tattooing needs a “”refresh” back to the fun stuff .. to the good ol’ days …tattooers having fun enjoying there craft not worried about “likes and algorithms “ stuff….😢
Man I would LOVE to get into a shop that handles all the minutia of organizing everything for me and all I have to do is tattoo and work on the craft. That sounds excellent.
You get the public excited about conventions by not pre booking clients. They have to feel like they will have an opportunity to get tattooed.
Hell yeah. I gotta Boothe design on my right arm. Shit is my favorite
His art is like what i did in my school diary at school. He is a basic artist. Dark and creepy but kinda shit. Plus he's a creepy weird dude. He looks like he stinks too
Such a sick ass podcast..much love from Alaska
I like how you’ve brought the polish guys for 2 sentences 😂
Back in the day the artist well bring the same 5 guys at every convention
I think as a kid, Paul shaped my interest in dark style art. Although I'm not an artist myself, I've always loved his style.
I’m a cnc machinist and that is how they are made I’ve also seen a video of them making the cartridges and the needles using these cnc machines
They are made using cnc machines and injection molding machines
A podcast like yours is actually creating a comunity of like-minded tattooers all over the world. Im from France, i never miss an episode and every time i tell myself how good it is to see that there is not just this competition thing the internet/instagram brought in, but that the fraternity is still somehow intact!!! So kuddos to you guys! Cheers
Only conventions that are like that are the small ones held at a casino in the middle of nowhere. those are always good.
Bro for real I miss those conventions we were all together at the same hotel. Use artist all chillin together .
very few conventions still exist that have that great atmosphere they all used to have. wish they were more
By far my fav tattoo podcast out there. You get personal, you talk lifestyles and you have actually interesting conversations about tattoos and tattooing. As a collector and enthusiast, I love your show. Keep em coming!
That means a lot! Thank so much for supporting the show.
I think the reason the industry is shit now is all the artists sharing all the information. Thats where it all went down hill. Now we got shitloads of podcasts teaching everyone. Pretty soon hobby lobby is going to start carrying tattoo equipment.
we have a bunch of those at the studio, we gave a few to the guy at the new orleans tattoo museum, hes got a whole display for my mentors mentor tommy williams, apparently his shop was burned down by a motorcycle gang so a lot of the ones we have are melted on the edges or slightly burned
I realy don't know what to say,I just know that I love his amazing work, and I'm trying to learn this amazing art
Lets keep it really REAL! Youre not a r*cist if you prefer lighter complexions to work on and display your art, I live in latin america and work on darker skinned clients all the time...Lets be honest, The same tattoo on two different skin tones.. The lighter one will heal easier, faster and safer! Aside from minimizing your color pallette and the amount of details, there are various issues such as KELOID scarring, the swelling , the ink absorption, etc.. Its all about the types of dermis and genetics my dudes! "You cant fight division with more division!"
I’ve wanted a tattoo from the Boss since like age 14. I’m 36 now.. still hasn’t happened. Haven’t gotten a tattoo since age 16. Maybe one day.
I thought I was taking a ride down the Harland Highway for a second 😅
Good to hear from the legend himself but god damn the editing with the sudden change of frames while Paul was speaking really threw me off a bit overall this was pretty bad ass podcast.
Legend!
Been a fan for decades. Thanks for the insight.
I got his goblin from a complete amateur at the time I always liked his style
Great podcast all in all.
Damn Russ barely got any play!
Paul is a legend in the tattoo world. But c'mon man, you really gonna deny that youre not a Gay heroin addict? I doubt youre gay, but thats about it. Its pretty obvious, but at the end of the day, its your choice. Just dont gaslight us about it.
When was Paul last in Ireland lol? It’s more liberal than the UK now.
Tattoo artists really out here acting like they’re superhero’s lol
Sup with the guy swaying around in the background, lol rattling stuff around
Fantastic podcast! Thx!
Shoutout John Mesa’s bodyguard on the side
Paul Booth is awesome!!🤘🤘
I get it but dude we’re TATTOOERS, we make shit happen no matter what. In a perfect world it would be nice if it was all kumbaya within the “community “ but at the end of the day there’s always a rotten apple that messes everything up so that’s never going to happen. You can’t care about what others are doing or that tattooing is evolving, just evolve with it and be grateful that we get to draw on people for a living 🏆
That’s so true I’ve been watching prices of dragonhawk tattoo machines like the mast sensor I got it new for 50$ with battery kit and all now they try and sell the same kit for 300) same as the company CNC they make the Q2 it’s 50$- 300$ lol like prices are almost solely based on how many are in the where house idk
I’ve seen both Gunnar and Russ speak. Both very powerful speakers and artists. What an awesome episode. Powerful
Got to meet Gunnar and Russ at Richmond. Theyre both amazing !!
♥️ Brilliant🤙
