Right on, I've got a 98 4x4 sport with 5.2l or 318 magnum, cats out with k@n fi.ter and intake pipe, she's kinda raunchy lol figure im running close to 300hp but for a light weight dakota thats not bad.
@WeDriveTrucks yea I checked it out. sounds good for a v6 lol just don't crank the t bars up to much because it puts too much stress on the ball joints and cv axle angle is all wack. that's what I planned on doing to mine, but I sold her:/ looks good tho good luck with it
I had a 2000 Durango 4.7 4x4 and loved it. Broke down and now looking to get another. I am looking for any shock absorbers with a coil over to help ease the pressure on the torsion bars
Nice looking rig, I've got a 99 SLT 4x4 with the 5.2l v8, been wondering what I could fit with a 3 inch lift on the front. The 33s look nice. I've got 31x10.5 falken AT3s on right now at stock height so with 3 inches of lift I'd say the 33s would fit without rubbing for sure
@randomvideos28 it's pretty easy to put on. Just make sure you have the torsion bar tool. And yea all you need is the new longer shocks, the rear blocks, and the front keys. I swear it rode better than stock lol
@mrdead212 I put an engine in it at 150k. My engine ran beautifully but I hydro locked it being an idiot. I would deffinetely say they're reliable. I miss this truck more than anything lol
@WeDriveTrucks I don't remember but I know many people who have bought from them. I've actually called once and talked to somebody. my lift came separate from my socks. two separate boxes. it was sketchy but the shocks came two days later. I'd personally rate them 5 stars
@blahblahblah5377 you might be able to fit them in the back, if so it'd be tight. but for the back, if you want to lift it then you put blocks in between the leaf springs and the axle. you can get them off eBay for like 40 bucks
@hockeyfreak043 not difficult at all. Back is easy. Just make sure you have the t-bar too to do it. And it's easier with air tool but you can do it with a breaker bar. Just a lot more work.
Nice truck man!! I got a 2003 Dakota quad cab 4x4 and I'm looking at putting this adrenaline lift in it. Just wondering all I need is the kit and shocks?? Anything else and how easy was it to install? Thanks
i have a 2000 dakota 4x4 on 31's right now and i put new torsion keys on it to level the front out but i dont have anything to lift the bed. just wondering if i can fit 33's or if i need to lift my bed
Sick truck, man. I've got the 03 slt 4.7l. It's a 2wd but still great for hauling. I've been looking to put a 3 inch lift and MagnaFlow exhaust in it soon. Would love some advice.
To everyone asking about the lift all u need to do is to crank ur stock keys each turn is 1/4in lift and buy a block kit and ubolts they come in 1in 1.5 2 2.5 3in blocks for the rear axle $70 and u have 3in lift there is nonneed for aftermarket keys stock ones are just fine the aftermarket ones won't lift it any higher than the stock ones... Iv had 3bdakotas and 9 duramgos their all the same its a scam to make money off u... Use stock keys and a $70 block and bolt kit thats all u need
Hey I see you live in N.J. how many tickets have you gotten runnin no front license plate and heavily tinted front windows? I hate our front plate requirement, but i think some people get away with puttin it on the dash, who knows. Nice truck though, take care.
I have a question about the lift. Can you install it in your driveway with a jack and a few jack stands? Or do you need one of those sky lifts to raise the truck up off the ground to install it?
@WeDriveTrucks I would deffinetely say it's worth it only because your truck probably rides like shit (no offense) with the torsion keys turned all the up. the aftermarket keys will give you more height if you turn them all the way up but then your front end will fall apart. but if you put them at the recommended height then youl sit as high as you are now with them all the way up and your ride will be way better
@cyautomobile69 I forget exactly how long it took but they sent me them but I only received the front at first and I got the back like 2 days later. I'm right in the same area tho I'm in jersey
Hey man how long did it take you to get your lift kit from adrenaline motorsports, I ordered mine about 2 weeks ago and I can't contact them at all. I live in the PA area. I have a 98 dodge dakota sport.
thats one badass truck. how many miles were on the truck when you had the new engine put in? sounds expensive. i was going to buy a 2004 dodge dakota sxt reg cab 116k miles 5 speed 4x4, but im not sure how reliable they are.
Years late, but for anyone else reading, mines got 215k+, and I'm still willing to put bunch of money into bumpers and a lift, and other fun stuff for it, cause she's still worth it
Nice Dakota! Do you still have it? Looking to buy a Dakota myself. I was originally looking for a Nissan titian but I test drove a Dakota and I loved the size. Wouldn't want the v6 though v8 all the way baby.
Don't crank them too much and you will be fine. But I suggest replacing upper and lower ball joints before the lift. But like I said only go up like 1.5 inches and you will be fine
@brad11344 you drive a single cab step side f150. Sounds like shit and it doesn't get any uglier than that. And @blue32hike I used to work at a detail shop so I always washed mine twice
i have the 2001 quad cab... candy apple red,, now has 78,000 miles on it had 56k when i bought it, i really love it,,best truck ever

Sick truck. Best looking truck you can buy
@mrdead212 I put an engine in it at 150k. My engine ran beautifully but I hydro locked it being an idiot. I would deffinetely say they're reliable. I miss this truck more than anything lol

dude I've had 3 1st Gen Dakota over 8 or 9 years and I've been wondering if 33 10.50 would fit for so long. thanks for posting this
@blahblahblah5377 you might be able to fit them in the back, if so it'd be tight. but for the back, if you want to lift it then you put blocks in between the leaf springs and the axle. you can get them off eBay for like 40 bucks

Sick truck, man. I've got the 03 slt 4.7l. It's a 2wd but still great for hauling. I've been looking to put a 3 inch lift and MagnaFlow exhaust in it soon. Would love some advice.
you could eat off the motor compared to mine! 234k and counting. Canadian winters brutal n it!

Update on truck please.

Could you possibly tell me what you used to lift up the front end.? Do you have torsion bars?
MrYamaha4life when you first had your 33s did you rub at all, if not do you rub when you flex
Do the front tires rub when turning
She purdy!
Nice Ride!
Thanks man, I plan to hit the pine barrens after I get it lifted
@cyautomobile69 I forget exactly how long it took but they sent me them but I only received the front at first and I got the back like 2 days later. I'm right in the same area tho I'm in jersey
Thanks for the tire info
Manz got a dirty engine

Do you need to do anything to the rear end like different gears in the back for the 3in lift??

I've got a v6 Dakota and it got a lot more power then you would think. Wouldn't want to pull nothing with it but it's got pleantly of power.
Does it look taller than it did when you put the lift kit in?
Where did you get the lift kit
How wide are the tires
How did the lift affect the handling??
What's the size of the tool box
What is the lift kit brand name
hey did the 3inch kit cause to much angel on the CVs or was it ok
Don't crank them too much and you will be fine. But I suggest replacing upper and lower ball joints before the lift. But like I said only go up like 1.5 inches and you will be fine
how hard was it to put the lift on it ?
what exhaust are you running
Where did you by the lift?
Does it eat cvs?
@brad11344 you drive a single cab step side f150. Sounds like shit and it doesn't get any uglier than that. And @blue32hike I used to work at a detail shop so I always washed mine twice
Wheels 16
Says the guy with the F150 that sounds like shit. You need to drop some money into that piece.

Whats ur gas mileage??
Anyway you can help getting me a 5 speed trans
