You're making me cry. She was an exquisite woman. I loved her from the moment you found the car in her garage. Sometimes an elderly person needs some help keeping their house up. We all need to honor our elders. Thanks.
when you picked her up to take her for a drive, I remember thinking I would love to know about her life, she looked so very interesting, I loved to hear she did have a full and fun filled life.
Alex, you really have honored the legacies of Madame Rac and Mary Borgstrom in such a thoughtful way! These tributes bring back who they really were, and remind us to see the best in people!
I love how you have respected this woman, included us as you gently and kindly cleared out her house for her family. I love how you discovered a rich and a wonderful life story along the way and shared it with us. I love that you found adventure and inspiration while helping her family. I love how you showcased your generous, hardworking friends as they lent a hand to bring the challenging task to the best closing you could arrange. I love how you are now supporting the family with this last step regarding the safety deposit boxes that you found the keys for. (Good eye!) I love how you’ve shared this adventure, making it fun for us all in the process. Thanks Alex, thanks to your entire family and thanks to your fabulous team! You are a lucky man.
You and your family are so wonderful, you take care of everyone like they were your family . Thanks for providing entertainment and showing us that you are an incredible human…. This is the second time I watched this it still brought tears to my eyes your so kind…. I’ve watched you for a pretty long time and you continue to amaze me. Thank you for sharing…..
This whole series, in fact this channel and Alex is so tastefully done. With compassion, without judgement. It makes me proud to be a fellow Canadian. I feel like Alex is a long lost brother. This is a real man. I’m so proud of all you do. ❤️
She really was a lovely woman who seemed to live her best life... I truly believe she is up in heaven smiling down upon you all and feeling very blessed that her legacy will live on because of you all! ❤️🙏🥂
That was beautifully done Alex! It literally brought tears to my eyes. What a stunningly beautiful woman! And what a life she led! I’ll be watching this auction with great interest!
Your a rare man with a beautiful family. The respect for the people who have you help them is wonderful. I love watching as you systematically sort and achieve right to the very end. THEN you bring it all together with the whole story. You guys(your wonderful associates and family) are what I believe is so needed in this world. THANK YOU .
Madame Rac was such a tiny, demure lady with a great sense of style. Yes,the Musician's House clear out and auction was done with grace and tact just like the Potter's House. Alex showed up dressed up when he got the caddy and took her for a ride. He treated her with great respect. He loved and appreciated her car. It was a great series. Beautiful jewelry again.
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching you go through her house. You were so careful and dug through her things very carefully and respectful...thank you!!!
Amazing ! Her story is a true story of what I call “quiet elegance “. You have done an amazing job. I hope the person who inherited the box does fantastic at the auction.
Her collection is just gorgeous she had an eye for jewelry and clothing. I watch the clean out and it was better then any hoarder tv show. I love old pictures I study their backgrounds my family teases me that only I would notice that thing in the background 🤷♀️😆👀
She may have lived a very private life towards the end . The way you cleared her home and possessions brought her back to life .Like many viewers we all feel we know this lovely lady . Thank you ! and RIP Madame Racs .
I love how you said “the eccentric lady that lived down the street was a rare flower” a perfect reminder in this world to never judge a book by its cover and be kind always, you never know what someone is going through… xx
Madame Rac lived a charming and elegant life. I love stories that showcase a life well lived and experienced. They travelled the world and embraced everything that life has to offer. I'd like to think they were just two extraordinary wonderful people who treated everyone with kindness and respect. Old school, genuine and delighted with life.
Your respectful and tasteful handling of this whole series is in of itself a tribute. To you and your family's character. To Madam Rac's legacy. Thank you for being the kind, generous, humane human that you are. And Melissa and the gang of lovelies around you, too.
I figured with all the treasures of jewelry, silver, money etc. that were just strewn around the house and hidden in closets, that the safe deposit boxes would be empty or only contain important papers such as the deed of the house. I can't believe that there was even more treasure found in the boxes and I don't think they have even opened all of them yet. You are a good man, Alex, to continue to help the owner of the house dispose of the treasures even after you have fulfilled your initial commitment to the project!
If no one has said, the grape vine jewelry is called Black Hills Gold from the Midwest of America mainly South Dakota, in case you would like to label it on the auction. Have a great day!
Alex, this is my first time commenting on one of your videos. I just need to say that you have handled this whole journey with grace and respect. I get tears in my eyes (ok, I literally cry) watching you tell her story. Madame Rac was a beautiful person who lived a full life giving of herself to others and enjoying herself along the way. She is smiling down on you and celebrating you giving of yourself to others. God bless you.
I truly love how much respect and reverence you have shown for Madam Rac and her belongings. It’s not all about profits with you, glad you can do well and honor her at the same time, you are a class act!!
This is amazing. I got choked up watching this. I so wish I had known her. I kind of feel I do, thanks to Alex and Melissa's journey that they invited us to join them on! I think the renos will be STUNNING!!
Alex, the 10K jewelry with grape leaves and clusters is actually Black Hills gold made in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It has 3 colors of gold, 10K yellow gold base & grape clusters with 1 rose gold leaf and 1 green gold leaf.
I'm going to be entirely honest here: I don't know you, so I cannot gauge how authentic you are or aren't, but the way you have humanized this woman, instead of reducing her to the sum value of her earthly goods has been genuinely touching. A thing is only as valuable as the story behind it... regardless of what retailers would have us believe.
First of all i do hope your family realizes what an amazing man you are... Supported by an amazing woman. You're a couple leading a good example... I love the fact you're goofy funny and Melissa still likes your silliness!!!! Good luck everyone. Hopefully you will win what you need on!!!!
LOVED this video. Thank you for again showing us photos of her and reminding us what a beautiful, classy, and interesting woman she was. Her legacy will live on and hopefully she’s smiling down and is happy that her personal treasures are going around the world to be enjoyed by other people.
What beautiful pictures. Found myself tearing up and smiling at the same time. Alex you have really helped all of us appreciate that this woman was so much more than what we may have expected...THANK YOU!
Thank you Alex. Brought a tear to my eye. You are awesome. Madame Rac was awesome. I can't think of a better word than awesome at the moment, but you are both that word - ha ha
Alex... you never cease to amaze. You have caused me and do many others to care deeply for a woman we have never met. You continue to touch our hearts by your selfless love and empathy. Your acts are a beautiful reflection of your soul. Made me cry again within the first minute! You have a talent for touching our hearts!
Fascinating to get an answer to the question: what does a lady who hides silver under the mattress and uses gold chains to hang shelves in the squirrel attic, value enough to keep in a safety deposit box? A privilege to see these items. And you're just doing this as a free advert for the owners. Good for you.
Made me think of a poem called ‘A Crabbit Old Woman’ I first saw hanging in a care home. Not that this lady was in a care home but it’s just that we often don’t think of the elderly having such amazing lives.
Alexander..... You are one "Class Act" yourself. Your pictorial portrayal of Madame Rac touched my heart. You could have focused on the negativity around the hoarding. Instead ...You magically changed the focus on her amazing life and extraordinary accomplishments! I have heard you say you wanted to be a magician! Congratulations! 😍
I just love the care you give to her memory. And to her things as well. As the chil and inheritor from 3 different hoarders in the last decade that respect is something my family just does not have. They would have dumpstered it all. Which is why my channel has the name it does. My house now is packed with boxes from the 3 ladies I inherited from. But going through it and selling things helps pay the bills. Something you seem to understand so well.
Your dedication to bringing out the best in people is inspiring! You are always kind and exceptionally generous. Your curiosity and people skills attract you to the most amazing adventures and we are blessed that you take us along. I loved how you took on city hall over their ridiculous fire hydrant requirements! Now your dream of a little cafe is becoming reality! You are a great example of You reap what you sow.
Ok Alex!!! U totally out did yourself this time! This is not the channel I imagine crying with!!! Im in tears!!! U really showed such love and respect and appreciation and......!!!! I already loved u and ur family but this....!!! Bravo!!! Thank u!!
Wow she was so beautiful younger and older years. I would of loved to of sat down and talked with her. Can you just imagine what stories she had to share. Love talking to people, its like a good book but even better. Thanks Alex for sharing her with of us.
The whole Madam Rac series handled with class, taste and compassion by Alex. Well done !!!!!
Beautifully said 🥰✨
You're making me cry. She was an exquisite woman. I loved her from the moment you found the car in her garage. Sometimes an elderly person needs some help keeping their house up. We all need to honor our elders. Thanks.
You are so right about THAT! ♥️🌺
So, so true!
So true.
This is a TRUE FACT !!!
when you picked her up to take her for a drive, I remember thinking I would love to know about her life, she looked so very interesting, I loved to hear she did have a full and fun filled life.
Just as you did with Mary, the potter, you did Bette Joan proud, Alex! Lovely lady with impeccable taste! XXX
Oh, dear.

She didn't have any family that's why the person who inherited the house, got Alex too handle it.
She didn’t have family.
Every thing about this Lady is a wow .
Except for the hoarding, I always feel sad about that part of her life. All the grief she couldn't handle🥺
@@Picca65 That's sort of a different type of 'wow'.
@@TheAccidentalViking true true 🙈

Absolutely loved the photo tribute to Madame Rac; very tasteful and dignified.
Madam Rac is the best gem of all. This has been a great series, done well, from start to finish. Thank you.
Glad you enjoy it!

Watching from Philadelphia PA, USA! Absolutely love how you have cared for this person, her legacy and her belongings with respect.

This video was really well done, what a great way to do the before and after pictures.
Amazing ! Her story is a true story of what I call “quiet elegance “. You have done an amazing job. I hope the person who inherited the box does fantastic at the auction.

God bless you and your family for telling Madame Rac's story.
You bring tears to my eyes.

Wow! You do such a great job at telling people's stories. The tributes you have done are done in such a beautiful way. Thank you for sharing!
Great job Alexander. I've followed your adventures since last December or maybe a little before. Just intriguing stories. Love them all.
I just bought the 6.5” Silver Expandable Pheasant Bangle for my wife.
It’s incredibly intricate, you can tell a lot of labor was put into making it.
Exquisite lady. Alex you have done an amazing job bringing her legacy to your audience. Thank you.

Very well done video of a real gem (no pun intended) of a person. You honored her in such a kind way. Thank you, Alex!
What a lovely tribute to Madam Rac! Well done Alex et al.
This was beautiful once again. The little girl in a dancing pose overlapped with the woman she became in a similar pose, superb editing Alex 👏👏👏
That was beautiful Alex, good job. :)
very nice to see this after watching all the earlier videos
WOW, the treasures still abound!!!! Do take care. Fl., USA
Beautiful, beautiful jewelry. Madam Rac had impeccable taste in clothes and jewelry. Can’t wait for the auction.
Right on. Ty for the glimpse. A year later and it still came to mind "what was in that safety deposit box!"
Wow that was a very generous showing. Hmmm might take a look...
She was a true treasure, Canada was lucky to have had her. The black hills gold jewelry is beautiful, she had impeccable taste!
She was a beautiful lady until the end. What a wonderful tribute Alex. Can't wait to go see the rest of the offerings.
She 'll be remembered for years, around the world. So lovely.

I wish I had the Archbold family as my neighbors or even relatives. They are an oasis of goodness and joy in a world full of inhumanity.
Over 400 items, wow! Wasn't expecting that!
Love how respectful you are.
LOVED this video. Thank you for again showing us photos of her and reminding us what a beautiful, classy, and interesting woman she was. Her legacy will live on and hopefully she’s smiling down and is happy that her personal treasures are going around the world to be enjoyed by other people.
