      Yes, it was a pretty incredible experience. We specifically went up to Cape Range in summer for turtle hatching season. Had been a bucket list item for many years. Was so glad to have ticked it off! 😀😀🐢🐢

    What an amazing experience to be part of, thank-you so much for sharing it. It's something we'll have to try to do as well now. I have to admit we'd probably be trying to keep those seagulls away too - I imagine it would be very hard to let nature take her course when surrounded by so many little creatures fighting to survive that first life test.

      Absolutly! While the kids try to protect them, they also know not to interfere. It's actually a good bit of home-schooling to let the kids see nature working like that. A fair few of the turtles got plucked out of the ocean, but the kids understand that's the way nature works. One of the many reasons why we love this lifestyle. 👍🐢😀😀

    Such a beautiful video loved watching the baby turtles emerge from the sand.
    Osprey is simply just a beautiful campground and yes it gets nuts there in the peak season so it would of been nice for you to have it sort of to yourselves ☺️

      Yup, the Ningaloo coast is certainly different during the off-season. We had South Lefroy to ourselves! 👍🍻👍😀

    Amazing stuff. Thanks for sharing.
    Way to go Toby! 😊
    We invested in an Antiflap kit while in WA. It’s been a worthwhile investment but having said that WA wind can be even too extreme for even the kit. I fitted it myself, wasn’t too bad.

      Yeh mate, WA, Windy Always.. We track back to Vic later in the year, so I will order a bunch of stuff i have had on the to-do list. The anti flap kit will be one of them!

      @@VetinaVan if you’re passing through SA we should catch up if you like? That was an interesting observation you made about the temperature difference between either side of the cape.

      Yup, for sure! We are not sure when we will be in SA next, maybe late 2025, still so much to see and do!

    How amazing to see the turtles hatching , something very special to witness . We stayed a week at Osprey last August ,having been there several times in the past .Great campground . Great photography again . Are you in the path of Cyclone Lincoln now being 23rd Feb or have you moved further south out of its path ? Anyway stay safe and we look forward to your next video .

      Thanks guys, yup it was such an amazing experience for us, and it was definitely a bucket list item ticked off! We were meant to be at South Lefroy until the end of the week, but we have hightailed it all the way down to Kalbarri. We got here yesterday, don't fancy being anywhere near a cyclone! 👍😀

      @@VetinaVan good to hear you are safe and the Kalbarri area has a lot to offer in things to see and do . Cyclones are no fun having experienced them in Darwin and here in Perth . Raining in Perth now.

    Great video. I take it you were there about mid Feb? What time of the day did you go and what beach/area was it exactly. Safe travels.

    • @VetinaVan
      @VetinaVan  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup, mid Feb, we saw these ones at a track just up from 5 Mile, but they are all around that area. Go up at sunset then follow the birds! We were lucky to see 1 come out first, then the rest followed around 10 mins later. Such an awesome experience. 🤙👍🐢🐢
