- In this episode we continue from where we left off last week at Winderabandi Point Campground on the pristine Ningaloo Coastline. Our second week at Winderabandi Point saw the wind calm down and we got some spectacular days out on the reef! We also had baby Loggerhead Turtles hatching close to the campsite, another bucket list item licked off. Also manage to get a few fish in the boat which was great! Enjoy 😊
That is out of this world. 😊Nature at its best😊
Yup, such a wonderful experience, especially for the kids! 🐢👍👍
Congrats on breaking your hoodoo! Fish like "busy" water to protect them from predators from above. So wrapt that you guys rounded up the wayward turtles hatchlings. Thanks for the informative lesson!
Those turtles would have been one of our biggest travel highlights after 4 years on the road. It was just super special to experience, for us and the kids! 👍👍🍻🍻🐢🐢😀
Thanks guys super cool vid as always, thanks for sharing, very inspiring, just like Carltons win tonight v b-lions, go Blue Baggers
Thanks guys, cant believe footy is back already! The Blues v The Tigers for round 1at the G is gona be a banger! 👍👍🍻🍻
Oh my goodness , the little baby turtles you saved. So incredibly precious ❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Robyn, yup, it was a pretty special experience. 🐢😀👍
Must be one of the most beautiful places on this planet 😎😀
Bonus: Learned some things about turtles.
Yeh mate, it's pretty epic once the wind drops off! 🤙🍻🍻👍
Had to have a chuckle about the fishing on a flat day. We used to get days like that up at Cleaverville. You could see right down into the reef and is was as clear as it could be but we never caught a fish. Half the time we didn't even try, we would just float around looking down in awe at the beauty of the place. When we used to fish at Exmouth we always went off the other side of the cape. It doesn't seem to get as big a hiding as Ningaloo and there was a place I think was called Stuart's (Stewart's?) where the nice big Spaniards and queenies used to hang around.
Yup, general rule, when the fishing weather is perfect the fish go off the bite! Then in a big swell and overcast day, it's on! 🍻🚤🐟👍
Good to see you got a couple of macks at the end. All macks are good macks - just get a hot smoker and smoke them, they are absolutely delicious done that way. (Although don't do that to Spaniards LOL).
Yup, we at em fresh and they were fine. I generally find that any fresh fish is usually 10 times better than something you buy at woolies! 👍🐟🚤
That water is next level!🙌🏾 so damn excited to get amongst it there! 🤙🏽
You guys will love it! Just make sure you book early in the high season. 🍻🤙👍
I think the little turtle was Cliffy, the marathon runner.
Haha, 100% an Aussie champion! 👍🏆 🐢
What a awesome ep and spot and fish guys
Thanks Craig, yup the Ningaloo coast ticks all the boxes! (When the wind dies down!) 👍🍻🤙🍻
Yes When we did the WA coast line in 88 it was blowing @@VetinaVan
Awesome, it would have felt pretty remote back in the 80's!
Was great @@VetinaVan
Thanks nice video. would being tethered to your boat when you are alone be a good idea ? Did I hear " new car " any hints :)
You did hear new car! We are going to pick it up soon! Will still be a fewxmonths before we can use it though, lots to do! 😉😉
@@VetinaVan Another cruiser that one served you well. ?
Yup, the cruiser has been amazing! The new car will not be what you expect. 😉
Stunning vision during this TH-cam . Fabulous country along the Ningaloo Reef which we in and around last August . Look forward to the next TH-cam at South Lefroy .
