This is so awesome to watch. Thank you for sharing this build. Its an oldschool bike upgraded! I had this same frame but it was stolen from me a long time ago. Its nice to see these bikes are still around and appreciated so well.
Wow! What a great rebuild! All the attention to detail; components so thoughtfully selected and put together! Makes me want to go out to the garage and give my era-correct, silver RTS2 more of my attention. Great job, Toshi.
I have an 95 RTS-3 that really needs to be rebuilt. Great bike back in the day, and still is today. I have that same kit to mount a caliper on the frame. Great work.
I'm glad that younger generations can appreciate the design of the bike. I love your video, you did a great job putting it all together. I just bought my Polished Aluminum 1992 RTS and am about to do the same. This was my dream bike back in the early 90's but as a kid I couldn't afford it. Post more videos of the use you are giving to it.
I still have my 1993 GT RTS-1 and seeing this RTS being built is awesome!! Thank you for the video. I love my RTS. Im sure you are having fun riding yours. Subscribed.
to shi yes I will create a new better one soon. Great work you do to build the bike. I have replaced fork and handlebars, seat , tires on mine. Using Vbrakes I see you have disc brakes ! :). Can I see new videos of your disc brakes setup? It’s first time I have seen this for our classic bikes. Very very nice!!
@@elm723 I 'm not English native speaker so I can't create good video in English. I think you feel that my English is not right. I used this(www.chasertech.com/disc-brake.htmll) for brakes.
I love the fact that you went full “restomod” new parts on and old frame. Would love to know how it rides now? Great soothing video! Thanks. Long live GT bikes!
hello I would like to know which piece you have mounted in the frame on the left behind to keep the rear disc brake fixed, so I can also mount it on my gt that I'm modifying it, please let me know where you acquired it, so I can buy it, if give me the information I would be grateful !!

It is 2019 and I still have my GT RTS2 silver color and it still rides like a dream with only a fork, chain and a carbon fiber handlebar upgrade.
How did you fit a rear disc bake?...as the RTS didn't have disc mountings.
