This is so good of you. You are sparing those new students ,who follow your expert instructions, years of waisted energy and heartbreak. Whatever one does repeatedly becomes a habit. Impatience , born of desire, is a very bad habit. It’s much better to suffer the mental pain of learning ,patiently, the proven ways to play clearly than to suffer the physical pain of years of playing with inadequate playing technique. Working hard but wrong ,will not help. It will trap you in a cage of bad habits. You young people, who have a passion for this instrument, do not squander this opportunity to take Thu Le’s instruction. You really are a precious gem Thu. I sincerely thank you.
Mong cô cùng gia đình giữ sức khỏe, an toàn giữa mùa dịch. Con hy vọng nếu cô có thời gian, cô có thể biểu diễn bài Đường chúng ta đi và Bài ca hy vọng chuyển soạn. Con cảm ơn cô nhiều
Very good lesson… i don’t discipline, sometimes i practice, sometimes i don’t,, but when i want to learn new score that i loves but faster than i could play, this video reminds me to back practice the basic 😂 And i can’t do strech as long as you.. some parts like in Bella Ciao with longer strech challenging me to practice harder.. Thank you Thu Le.. 🤗🤗🤗
Another effective video by Thu Le inspires me to be patient and focus on being more mindful in executing guitar technique. Her valuable advice in starting slow is vital in making progress with scale playing. Only a slow approach will allow the mind to refine and articulate the precise attack that produces the needed efficiency for quick and accurate scale playing. Thu Le is a great player as well as a very effective teacher of this magnificent art form.
Dear Thu Le, Every time I'm watching one of your 'lessons' videos (9th one now), I find myself grinning widely. I believe I am telling myself, "Ya, makes sense, I can do this" (In TIME) ...practice slowly...practice slowly... Thank you so much for your dedication to all of us! Ciao for now, have a great week. Linda
Thank you again for this wonderful tutorial. I know it takes a lot of time in making this videos. This show how committed you are to help people like myself that are guitar aficionados. I started to play guitar at 48 y/o and it is difficult, but not impossible, to achieve a little of greatness. Again thank you for all you are doing.
Excellent lesson Thu Le. There is no way around it. You HAVE to start slowly. NO ONE gets fast overnight. These are great exercises when using a pick as well. Best lesson I've ever seen for learning to play faster. Thank you Thu Le!
I haven't been following you very ling on IG or here on YT...but every time my 4 year old daughter hears your guitar or your voice she comes running in to watch the video and says, "Hey that's my friend." It's adorable. Thanks for doing what you do
I am a French boy who try to play classic guitar but I am not too young... But I hear you and I listen you lesson. It's a great pleasure. Thank you for your help
Thu Le is very patient. Practicing the dotted eighth with 16th is an excellent technique. Scales are the best way to increase strength, agility and speed while studying harmony theory. I attached all the modes and keys of the Major, Harmonic Minor and Sarasangi in movable Do solfeggi in my Composition 101 textbook, 21st Harmony.
I know in 2024, she might not look this commentary but has an amazing technique to reach a really good tempo and clean sound. I play flamenco, but I love this; I take this as my daily routine. Beautiful playing from Thu. Thank you.
@@ThuleguitaristTeacher I'm not a pro master like you, I quit 2 years ago after playing 2 decades without good results just working now in a regular job, but I retake myself 1 week ago because the love to music and instrument and to see a master get you more energy thank you again.
Paco de Lucia, John McLaughlin, Al di meola, Jesse Cook, Johannes Linstead, Yngwie Malmsteen, all guitar speed demons that I've tried for many many years to emulate - to no avail. Every point made by Thu is right on point. Speed will come with time and years of practice, but even then the outcome may not yield the desired results. Progress will be made when we come to terms with our own limits, never in comparison with others.
I've always tried to run before I could walk. so now I'm going to slow it right down & add your long note short note & reverse it ..thankyou so much 💯💫
Wow....thís intro is virtuosity. More than admiration I have huge respect because behind this amazing skill, there is dedication and many many hours of practice. And patience.

I find every instruction you give on practice really pins to the point of how to gain progress quickly that I've been looking for. I really appreciate every instruction you give. Thank you so much !!
Good lesson that is very clear and easy to comprehend. What was the introductory piece of music? I ve heard it before. Maybe it was in one of Scott Tennant s books
good advice. I do as well ima on the way up and ami on the way down in groups of 3, 4 , 5 ... and make the first louder. then the loud finger changes. Nice game as well...😊
Escuchar, ver, sentir las vibraciones de estas cuerdas, evoca la reflexión de Galeano "¿Para qué sirve la utopía? Para hacernos caminar", sí, aunque sea a pasos casi imperceptibles.
Thank you very much Thu for this excellent video on scales speed. I see your thumb is traveling as you ascend and descend strings. How are you thinking about the Thumb and related stability and noise reduction?
Aunque no entiendo mucho el idioma Ingles ...pero grafificamente lo entiendo mejor muchísimas gracias por compartir tu talento, por tu paciencia, gracias gracias..

Increasing the speed is a journey. Practice slowly, slowly. Thank you so much for this very helpful lesson.

Very true
Al di meola is a picker .. he doesn't use his fingers and with a pick it's relatively easier to reach speed faster than with fingers.
Go to your luthier and adjust your specs. Widen your nut width and string spacing.
wow, a great teacher and beautiful!

Thu Le did tell me where the musical introduction came from. It is at the end of Fantasia by Legnani. I m sure this will be of interest to some.
Just began classical guitar Ben following your videos carefully.
