I highly recommend this Tutorial along with your Warm Up And Stretching Tutorial from May 9 and your Finger Independence Tutorial from May 23 for anyone who may have arthritis or other injuries to their hands. I have arthritis in both hands and these Tutorials have helped me keep my fingers loose and limber. Thank you so much Thu Le for sharing these wonderful exercises!
I have relatively small hands. Not only that, I'm not very flexible and my biggest fear on guitar is stretches. Everything else seems manageable. I'm going to incorporate these exercise routines into my practice. Thanks, maestro!
I did start learning to play classical guitar many years ago, but because of my work as a university professor, lessons ended just half a year after. Now, after more than 40 years, I'm picking up classical guitar lessons with my Masaru Matano 400 (1974). Ms. Thu Le's lessons are indispensable. I am already indebted to you Thu Le, not just because of the lessons but also because of your exceptionally admirable personal touch. You are a very precious gift to the universe.
I just love this lady ❤️ taking the fact that she is an incredible musician and artist aside - her energy is so soft and gentle...I just love her energy...she is a beautiful Soul
This is by far the best real finger stretching experience I have seen on TH-cam. Thu Le I'm teaching my self how to play guitar and I watch every one of your videos and I'm very impressed by the way you fret hand moves up and down the guitar neck, you make it look so easy. Thanks for sharing this beautiful talent with all of us!
I've seen many left hand excercises, but yours definitely I'm going to keep and practice everyday. Thank you so much for sharing. Also, thank you so much for the beautiful pieces that you've played so far.
LOVE these lefthand chromatic variations and the opposing motion movements!! VERY CHALLENGING!!! But necessary in order to stay in the game!! Merci beaucoup Thu Le ❣️
Thank you for being the only person online to show how to stretch fingers using a teaching style that is relaxing which in my opinion is the most important thing. Your voice is very relaxing and conducive to making this an easier thing to do every day. Helps my pick accuracy also. Have a nice day.
These execises are very different that I could see until now. I really, really enjoy them. Will use to warm my hands and go dive into classical guitar. So thanks!!!!
I have one question.. I have heard many guitar teacher suggests that left hand finger should be angled a little towards right hand/ guitar body.. because that way one can easily access to the 4th fret.. But, I generally practice guitar by straight finger parallel to the fret metal & maintain even gap between my four fingers, in that way I also can stretch my 4th finger to 4th fret easily.. & also I place my finger to the corner to the fret metal & press by my finger tip.. So, my question is do I need to change my left hand position from straight/ parallel to the fret metal to a little angled to the right hand or guitar body?? and If I don't change my left hand position then will that be a problem for my future playing & will it be a problem in playing guitar techniques like hammer on, pull of, slide, vibrato etc.?? Please answer.. If you answer this I will be very grateful to you.. Thank you.. 🎸
Wow I thought I was somewhat decent at playing the guitar but after trying these exercises and failing, I've realized that only now has my journey begun.
Hello Thu Le, Excellent stretching exercise, I liked it !!! I think you like this guitar a lot, you seem to have a greater affection for it, and I am right? 😊☝️
Thank you very much for this! I have a question @Thu le: i think i still have fairly small hand, reaching from tip of pinky to tip of thumb is 19cm and my pinky is quite short (5.5cm) Do you think i should still stick to 650 scale length and 52 nut width (42mm from e to e) and just practice what you show or does it really make sense for me to go with 640mm scale and 50nut (40mm e to e string spacing) ? Thank you very much.

Hello Thu Le, Excellent stretching exercise, I liked it !!! I think you like this guitar a lot, you seem to have a greater affection for it, and I am right? 😊☝️
Hi Romildo, It's my Alma guitar and one of my favorites!
I imagined 👍😄
Big hands ang long fingers(especially the little finger ) is required for playing a guitar absolutely.
I myself have a pair of short palms and fingers ,so the world missed a great guitarist.
Спасибо очень полезные упражнения❤❤❤❤❤😂
