Sitting in the house out of the 99 deg. heat and BANG, you pop up. Rather watch things like this than nearly every TAC video. One reason is you know how to use a release. I enjoy doing exactly what you’re doing here. Reps and sighting in. I personally use 1/2” wide black tape in vertical and horizontal lines. Not necessarily aiming at the center. I prefer smaller diameter scopes for targets but larger for hunting. My favorite hunting sight for several years is CBE tl 3 pin slider. All .010 and it’s deadly. Those small pins work especially well night hunting pigs. There’s no starburst when the rheostat is set lowest is one of the main reasons I keep using it. And that little pin allows me exact pin placement on those smaller pigs like 80-100 #’s. Hey, I enjoyed seeing this video. It helps newbies especially. DOA vid on using your release. Your personal technique. So many archers of EVERY AGE use their releases with terrible techniques. 👍👍👀
Thank you for watching and for the comment. Much appreciated! I have debated doing a video covering the hinge and how I use it. I'll probably knock that video out here soon. Also, I never hunted with pins smaller than .019, but I can see where it would be helpful. I have always been worried about low light and struggling to see the pins, but I guess ill have to give it a try one year. I want to get smaller pins for my UV scope, being that's my primary 3D archery and target scope. The dialed scope is bigger than my black gold, so I'm excited to see how that works for hunting season. Thanks again for watching!
Western Wayne? Very cool to shoot that far. I need to get into a club, because the longest I have shot is 70 yrds. It’s hard to practice those distances in the city.
This hinge is the same as the HBC Flex, but the Flex is the newest design. It's the best hinge I have used to date. The Hinge 2 is a super nice release as well, but I didn't care for how long the neck is.
Really appreciate your no nonsense approach to your honest input! Thank you and howdy neighbor from Illinois here
Thank you. I appreciate the kind words and for watching the videos!
Great video, brother. Bows have come a long way since I started shooting in the mid 70's.
That they have man. Crazy how they keep getting better.
helluva group there man
Thank you!
Enjoyed this video, did the same thing this year with my ventum pro and hha tetra ryz!
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback on this style of video.
The HHA Ryz is a nice sight. These two share some things in common.
