Please excuse the raspy voice and the coughing, I've been pretty sick lately. I made a commitment to upload twice a week, so I'm going to stick to it even if it means filming when I don't feel like it.
I will be updating the website in the near future to cover why zero knowledge encryption is really important. Cryptomator is about the best tool right now that can achieve that for cloud backups. Just keep in mind if you want to use the mobile app for it, it only supports OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox. Other platforms can only be used on desktop right now.

Super cool videos! Thank you for the content and advice. Also the production is great.
In this one there is one issue, the audio is out of sync.

      Thanks for the support! 🍻
And thanks for letting me know about the audio. I was changing some recording settings and didn't catch this when I was editing.

Can you access or open the encrypted files from the Onedrive cloud by unlocking the vault on Onedrive cloud?

Great tutorial (that unfortunately showed me that Cryptomator does NOT work the way I hoped it would. It would have been even better had you not inserted your image in front of the relevant text in the screencast (esp. as there was enough free space at the left side).

Hello Ken, how to proceed from here if at all we want to save these encrypted files to gdrive, do we have to upload from the encrypted folder directly or we can make an encrypted folder in side gdrive using cryptomator directly?

Both ways would work. The easiest option though would be to make the encrypted folder inside of gdrive, so the encrypted files can be uploaded automatically.

@@KenHarrisio that's great thank you , do you have a video of how's it done?

If you follow along at 4:57 for this video, that's how you can do that. You can make a vault folder inside of your gdrive folder for automatic cloud uploads that way.

Cryptomator has one massive flaw for me - backup programs don't seem to be able to see the network location of the opened vault - so can not backup files to it. Programs like Veeam, Syncback etc. So I can't run a backup job to an open CR Vault. Am I going something wrong?
