1994 He came to my place in SF with his girlfriend while they were on their way to record last rites in LA. He was not looking well. I had been his friend for years and was worried about him at that time. But his girlfriend was his main focus and she sucked. this was not shot in the bathroom. I had so many more home videos of him, but they are no longer around. Some evil person threw all of my 20 years of art and home videos in the trash. So this is what is left.
Last rites was before that, wouldn't that have been The Process? That's the one they came to LA to record in 93 until they broke up in 95 right before he left us.
I remember when they played at our night club in Denver early on circa 1989. He was cool and we talked keyboards most of the day. I called him in VC, BC a few times to talk samplers when our band was buying one. Great guy.. He would have been 50 this year. I'm 46.
Sad to watch this....the unsung genius behind Skinny Puppy and Download--it's always the quiet, shy one who gravitates toward the corner who's working all the magic. And he's gone.
the mirror-screen effect looks very chris cunningham-ishly other-worldly/weirdly! any wonderful little bits of dwayne are ones to relish... he should still be with us. (guess he always is; our best and brightest always are! as long as we remember them, as they say...)

He was way ahead of his time. He wouldve been a superstar Techno God if he was still alive. Sad but nature giveth nature taketh so be it.
I guees Last Rights was recorded in 1991-1992 and Dwayne had long hair at that time.
