Dean: Thank you very much Dean. We don’t mention the asking price since it could change and the videos remain up long after the sale. This boat did sell last year. If you want to know I’m happy to tell you off YT, my email is Jeff@JMYS.com.
Can’t believe that you have a stairway from the salon on the port side to the living quarters. I definitely would have thought that 43’ would have had to be a wide body.
Jeff: It all fits and works well. I believe some of the Selene 43's were built as widebody (starboard side deck). For 43', this trawler includes many great layout features. Did you notice the interior access to the flybridge from the saloon? Thank you for watching.
@tony baloney We have the brochure on the sold section of our website with the brochure from this boat (which has sold) Cruise 7.7 knots @1800 RPM. Top 10 knots @ 2200 RPM and 840 gallons of fuel - so many variables and I don't have an accurate fuel burn at cruise to do the calculation. Math makes my head hurt too.
Jeff: We did the survey yesterday in Deltaville (rainy and windy) and all went well. They have not signed off yet, because we don't have the survey report to approve, but it appears that we will get to a close. I can't really correspond through TH-cam, but if you would like me to keep you posted please send me a direct email Jeff@JMYS.com and I'll let you know. Thanks for your note.
Steve: This boat sold and we have the specifications on the JMYS Listings Sold section of our website, JMYS.com. Cruise is 7.7 knots, top is 10 knots and fuel capacity is 840 gallons of diesel
Nice video, it’d be helpful to know at least a ball park asking price. And if sold, at what price. That information would give us new future Trawler owners an idea of what to budget for when their dream ship comes in and prepare for their time for the christening and launching of their boat.
FMTFXE22: The asking price was published online ($399,000) and the selling price is available on the broker only site, soldboats.com. We don't like to disclose what a buyer paid as that it their private business (we view it like asking someone what their salary is). We don't publish asking prices in our videos in case they change - the longer a boat is listed, the more likely there will be a price drop and whatever is recorded can't be changed. In this market boats are selling close to asking price. Please email me directly if you would like additional information Jeff@JMYS.com
Beamer: I didn't notice anything, can you give me a time slot to check please? Thanks for pointing this out, we didn't have anything leaking or the bilge pump running, maybe we drove through something on the surface?
@@JeffMerrillYachts 2:10 and 10:40. It's not iridescent, like oil, but the way the ripples lie down for the width of the boat, in such a defined way, all the way back... I've just not seen that before.
i dont see any thing like that and believe me when I say if there was a slick i would see it. There deffinately is not. Ive seen my captain forget he was transfering fuel (omg in the middle of the inside passage no less) and how many times have I found out a Hydraulic hose or valve or pump has failed because Ive seen the slick? I think I smell fuel before I see it usually.
Excellent presentation. Informative look at the boat and no wasted time.
David: Thank you very much. She is a lovely boat and the new owners are excited.
Thanks for adding headroom graphics.😁😁
Todd: You are welcome we get a lot of positive feedback for including that kind of detail
Nice informative walk through. 🇺🇲
One: Thank you for watching and sending your note. The Selene 43 is a great package.
What a beautiful boat
AAH: Thank you for watching and commenting!
Well organized - very professional video. Well thought out additional visuals. I did not hear the asking price.

Sweet boat

Please let me know if this trawler is available for viewing in Deltaville. Thanks!

15’8” bean and 5’ draft isn’t ideal for the Erie Canal
TE - This boat did the Loop, there are some optional paths, I don't recall if they did the Erie Canal or not.
When I win the lotto.
lbowsk: I think all Golden Retriever owners already won the Lotto!
Well then I won it twice already! Third times a charm??@@JeffMerrillYachts
That boat is laying down a slick behind it. Something may be leaking or washing off the hull. Unless there is a better explanation.
