The more I look at Selene trawlers the more I want one. I live in Florida and they are hard to find. Love this particular 43 and even the bathtub is just fine with me.
Gregor Miller although you can hang a fishing pole over the edge they are really not intended as fishing vessels. Typically no livewells, rod holders, fighting chair etc.
+Frank Worley Really? I just thought how much differences are actually between those two. Nordhavn is still my favorite regarding the design and styling though. One day....one day.
Fun thing i just recently realized is: If you compare the Nordhavn 43 and Selene 43 which (in theory) should have comparable specs you will soon realize that the Selene is quite a bit bigger but the nordhavn on the other hand is 4.000lbs /or 1.8tons (!) heavier despite being smaller. I really wonder how that difference in weight feels in rougher seas. Nordhavn is still my favorite but I'd not say no if someone would gift me a selene. ;D
@@Scitch87 Nordhavn doesn't have the all around walkthrough and missing the port side exit... ..and although it allows additional interior space, from the captain's point of view I is a bad design in my opinion.. Nice boat!
Only two persons can sit on the flybridge? Really? And no seat in the pilothouse? Really? With the small cockpit and the outside wood...it's not my cup of tea.
Great camerawork, a nice layout and beautiful galley

Love the Guitar more than the boat. :)
Well done. Hey, copperhound1, "tubs?" This is Selene!
The master state room looks *nice* - kudos for no hotel sexy time mirror at the head of the bed.
What kind is the hull? Whats the engine?
No captain's chair in the pilothouse? Can you imagine having to stand up at the wheel all the time, especially in bad weather?
+Leonard Breau Actually, in bad weather you'd probably be standing up. ;-)
do all trawlers have the background music?
+James Wright LOL no.
Whats the deal with the music, is Antonio Banderas below deck playing a guitar or something?
Can these be used as a decent fishing vessel?

@@brettrun8575 I betcha I could make it work or tie on my kayak, grin.
Nice view and all, but I don’t understand the compelling urgency to always fill it with music (and nothing more subjective than music).... sigh....
three at sea gives good report video.
+James Wright Three at sea has a nordhavn not a selene trawler.
Music bloody music. Turn it off
Looks A LOT like a Nordhavn.

Yep, me too

Scitch87 suspect that tonnage is what makes one a ocean crossing vessel and the other a coastal cruiser?

The music is annoying, I am here to look at the boat not eat salsa and chips.

Does this trawler do all man exclusive gay tours?
