I cannot thank you enough for this video - this is probably the 10th video I have watched to try this exact thing and none of the others made any sense or provided the steps clearly enough to replicate. You have saved me hours of busy work every month. Great video - thank you!
Hi Leila, this video has been a game changer for me and my team. We had successfully delivered accurate year end statements for all employees. The whole process was touchless and seamless. We are super grateful for thinking of such a user scenario and coming up with an amazing video. Thank you!
@@LeilaGharani Hi I was wondering if I want to send emails with CC how do I include this in excel, if I want to send two different pdf attachments can I just create another column. Can I have it 'rescheduled' but I have to actually hit send incised there are weeks I don't need to send reports.. I'm really nervous about sending incorrect reports to wrong clients re;confidentiality but so tired of typing and sending 15 emails each week.. has to be an easier solution? Would appreciate any help p.s have referred to your videos re: data analysis and power bi very useful. Thanks again
This worked for me. It's great. Thanks a ton for this tutorial. Every month I am supposed to send data tracker to my boss. Now using this, I will no longer have to sit an draft a mail or find for attachments, and simply use the power automate run flow to send the mail at just one click.
Hi Leila, thank you for this fantastic tutorial. FOR THE VIEWERS: I found that the limit is 20 for each batch, so try to select (this version only sends to the selected rows) 20 for each set until you complete your whole list. You can see the sent ones in your sent box. I have used an alternative email address to send from, which also worked. (It was a shared inbox) Thank you.
Looking for a similar answer. I tried to do something similar through share point to see if it could go beyond the limit but failed. I have 1800 emails to send out next week hoping to bypass the loop limit
Think someone put a comment about this on another video on power automate mail merge - the video with Kevin stratvert! @@rolandoamirmirabalhinojosa7091
This is genius!!! I've been waiting for something like this. It looks a bit complicated to set up but once it's there it will be super useful. Thank you!!!!! When you're emailing 100+ students with different files. Heck yeah!
Have you figured out how to leverage Power Automate to send your students their individual files with Power Automate? I ran into a wall with my Flow as per the video, and wanted to see how you got on? In my case, i've got 156x attachments to send, but this Flow can't handle so many.
@@enuarurutini Sadly no.. I really wanted to try however my organisation has disallowed the microsoft store and addons so unfortunately couldn't even install it. Requisition attempts also failed because everyone is a dinosaur. Am sadly stuck with using an old macro which doesn't allow to differentiate different attachments but at least lets me open 20+ individual emails already addressed and subjected... i think there's a method to add different attachments per email as well but my VBA isn't good enough to alter it unfortunately... D: i hope you find something though!
Excellent Tutorial. I had to send 39 emails all with different attachments and this saved me a lot of time. I did not even test my flow and it worked in the first run (no recommended). Thank you!
This is what I've been looking for almost a week! I needed in urgent, almost gave up by doing it in traditional way instead of with attachment, and luckily I found yours. Thanks a lot, Leila!!
Hi Leila, I am using Power Automate to run an automatic approval flow. I get notified by email whenever approvers approve or reject. Apart from getting email evidence of approval, Power Automate keeps record of approvals as well. Approval flows are a specific chapter within Power Automate with lots of possibilities and combinations. There are many things you can do without writing a single line of code, but if you know some JSON basics you can become the Power Automate hero of your company (this is one of my future learning activities). Great video 👍 Thanks for sharing.
Hi Leila, this has just saved me a mountain of work. No need for add-ins and I could just follow along with the tutorial to send out my custom email with attachments...heaven! So grateful. Maurice
really not sure what to say. still letting this all sink in. been looking for a way of scheduling a number of emails in advance and it seems it is all there in PowerAutomate. This could be a game changer for how we use office. thank you. very much appreciate this.
Hi Leila, amazing video! Thanks for posting. What if we want to attach the multiple attachments to a single recipient? A video on how to create an array or something similar which enables to send multiple attachments will make things more easier. Please post it soon.
Amazing. Clear and helpful and it works! This video alone will have massive positive impact on the efficiency of my company. I noticed that I had to turn of the "New Designer" to prevent the end result from sending blank pdfs. Not sure what was causing that, but going to the old designer fixed it. Thanks so much!
Useful video! Love Power Automate. I am using it to give exam feedback by sending individual marked exam scripts to my student (>150) via Power Automate with one click.
Great video, thanks Leila! I use Power Automate to automatically send out the calendar invitation to my participants upon successful registration of my training. It just saves me tons of time.
Hi Leila Thanks for the great tutorial. I marginally tailored the flow but I’m stuck on two points. 1) How to attach a second document; for example a fixed one across all emails 2) Have a failed message for unsuccessful lines. Could you please expand on the topic? Thanks Emanuele
Thank you for this great video. Made a big difference for me. The only problem I am having is when it sends the pdf and I open the pdf in email, I get it blank. Please help!!
Looks like I'll need to create a special "Leila Gharani" OneNote notebook: so many fantastic courses, videos and articles! So much to learn. Better than anything the TV has to offer.
Unfortunately, the power automate didn't wanted to make the connection with outlook so I couldn't finish this mail merge this way. Nevertheless, this tutorial is great and everything else was functioning. I've leraned from this channel a lot until now. The best two things I learned were how to change a value in a cell for a whole sheet, that power automate exists and that there is Microsoft To Do. :) Thank you!
Hi Leila, this walk through was very helpful and extremely detail oriented! One question, how would I adjust the excel sheet to include multiple email addresses/attachments? Do you need to add a colon or comma what is coding? Thank you!
Hi, this is really helpful, can you tell me how can I attach multiple attachments using same method? Please this is what i was searching for a while. Thank You.
Hi L. I think that was good. The application that I have is automating a complex quoting system using Excel - this part really does speed stuff up. I need to set it up and dedicate some time do so - convinced it will be worth it - It is the kind of thing that will be a worthwhile slog - I think. Thanks for doing this.
Thanks for the video, it has been very helpful. You mention that it is possible to send more than one attachment but I haven't been able to figure out how to make this work - for example a unique file to each recipient and another attachment that is the same for each user - this could be a help file of some sort. Could you explain how to add this second attachment?
Hi Leila, amazing and easy to follow tutorial as always. From the comments I read, it seems I'm not the only one who would like to create the same flow for files saved in Sharepoint instead of One Drive. I tried following the same idea but maybe not selecting the right action for Sharepoint. Would it be possible to create a similar tutorial for Sharepoint please......
Hi Leila, thank you so much for the tutorial! I managed to send out 30+ emails with attachments in split seconds! Just one thing, not all emails were registered in my Sent folder.. Do you happen to know why?
Hey Leila - this is a great video, thank you very much for sharing. Is it possible to complete this with multiple attachments, possibly three attachments per recipient email address? I then would like to extend the power automate process to complete record the details into another Excel sheet (unique sheet per user) to record the data sent.
