The 1200 config makes a WHOLE lot of sense. In either bike, 125bhp is plenty for just about any street riding, but tuned for mid-range punch is where it's at for sporting rides and touring. Very smart. It's really great to see the inane horsepower wars being tempered with some real-world rationality. Looking forward to more MM dealers in the US. Would love to see how these go and if they are worthy of consideration against some really good competition. They really look great.
The Lambertini 1200 engine is an ingenious design. The cylinder angle of 87 degrees saves 30 millimeters in length compared to 90 degrees (just narrow enough that no balancer shafts are needed). Due to the small stroke (large bore), it also has a small overall height (including a low center of gravity). Cylinder and crankcase are cast in one piece (very good rigidity for supporting the frame). The crankshaft and gearbox are inserted into the one-piece engine block via the left side cover (tight fitting, narrow engine, deep installation possible). You can even replace the piston without removing the engine. The "old" models were very fat and unfortunately drank like a hole. It doesn't surprise me that the future engine had to lose 15 hp (legal regulations or standards). The timing of the market launch will mainly depend on when the engine can be tuned to be so lean. The former drunkard would then have to have more civilized drinking habits. Hopefully many dealers will offer the new Bellas and hopefully they will find enough buyers. Otherwise the brand and the technically unique, stunning beauties will unfortunately disappear again...
I like the look of this a lot. There's something I've always found appealing about Morini bikes, and the older Milano from a few years back is one of my favourites. If i was in the market for a large capacity bike this would be on the list
Rob, surely one for Tim who reviewed the last Milano on RR, he commented the twin was very lively and over 120hp in real life, so interesting what he thinks to this version. A lovely machine. Interestingly I almost bought the last Milano but had such a bad impression from local MM dealer I bought a 5Four CB1100RS instead, *no regrets
Dear MotoBob I liked your EICMA Exhibition 2023 video on upcoming motorcycles.I liked Morning v2 Milano motorcycle because of its beautiful stylish trendy looking motorcycle 🎉
This is not an updated version of an existing model since the earlier Milano 1200 stopped being produced in 2020. This is however a very welcome return of what is in my opinion the best looking retro on the market with some changes. Whether those changes represent an improvement is a matter of opinion. What is not a matter of opinion is describing the swingarm as unsprung mass. Only half the swingarm could be considered unsprung but a weight saving is still a good thing. The previous incarnation was the last all Italian morini to be produced so I would be curious to know where this one is being built.
Or the old moto morini corsaro something… or monster 1200s… Love to see that range come back as i love my 937 monster and loved the v100. (Btw i wish MG did a griso 2.0 with v100 base! Such a beauty…)
Beautiful motorcycle No Doubt but its too heavy for my liking, a 700 or 800cc would also be more appealing for me but it's nice to see some really cool retro and modern styling with the right blend, keep going MotoMorini.
Lovely looking bike and a nice colour scheme too. Some of it looks a little like the old Guzzi Griso. Some of the welding on the frame looks bad though. Not a good sign. Is this made in China? If so I would be a little wary especially looking at some of that welding.
Moto Morinis are made in Italy using Chinese money. They're not like Benelli. In the same way as Volvo in the car world, they're still Swedish, but money for development, etc, comes from Geely.
Some negative comments here. I would not pay 15k for this bike too... but at least it has a different engine configuration than the ubiquitous twin inline.
An 87 degree v-twin? Are they trying to out V Ducati? In this day and age, it's flat out Ridiculous for any company to build a wide angle V-Twin - it looks cool in the frame, but results in too many compromises in packaging the bike. Result? too long and too heavy... Twins need to be side by side - why have 2 sets of valves and drivetrain and 2 cylinder heads... stupidity in design for a visual aesthetic that will decrease the ability of the bike? No thanks....
It's pretty obvious that this bike isn't about efficiency. It's about character and style. There's plenty of japanese bikes on the "reasonable twin" market. This doesn't look less practical than BMW's boxer engine.
What ducati? This is their own engine. They have it for decades. They just got funding from the chinese parent company to make it euro 5 compliant. Just read a wikipedia or something.
At last... an actually beautiful new bike. Something we haven't seen for a long time.
I just hope it rides as good as it looks.
Reminds me of the Griso which Guzzi used to make.. love the Griso 😊😊 Pete
The most beautiful bike of Eicma

1:21 that frame weld cant be unseen
Not good. Not terrible. But I would expect better on a show bike. Those looking to buy one should be concerned.
The one in the next shot is even worse
How have I never heard of this company before, all their bikes are beautiful.

Those exhaust headers really do look amazing. Like the look of this bike a lot.

Looks pretty decent, I remember the old bikes from the mid 1970s Morini 3.5 ,
Except they were Italian, not Chinese
You need to test ride this bike Bob, this is a beautiful motorcycle.
Zhongneng Vehicle Group (ZNEN) are really dialling 200% on their Italian heritage
Looks awesome

Italian in name only. If I'm looking at a Ducati or a Moto Guzzi, odds are I won't downgrade to a Chinese bike.
Exhaust headers look great, frame welded by a 4 year old.
cheers mate! epic comment😅😅
It's like a more modern competitor to the old MS Griso - lovely

Is there any talk of the PFMoto Starship 6? (Little goldwing clone). Cheers and congrats of you fantastic coverage on the event
Does look nice but really need to see how it goes & how heavy etc it is as I'm not sure the reality will be as good as the fantasy.
Ha! The Italian FTR1200!
Was gonna say the same thing!
I like the look from a distance, but on some of the closer up shots, some of the details on the welds weren't particularly nice...
somebody needs to have a word with the welder. jeepers!
If it goes as good as it looks, then 12k+ is OK... When do you think you will be able to test one?
Every ride on this bike is an adventure waiting to happen.
The welds on that frame…. Ouch
Have you done a video of the new adventure bike by moto morini?
CF Moto stand?
Would love to know your view on the Ultraviolette Automotive F99 electric race bike 😍 please do give it a check
Have you checked ultraviolet ?

HONDA NC750x 2024
Would much appreciate if you have updates
No way I’d pay £15K for this kind of bike. It’s not as Italian as it seems, for a start. I’d rather have an Aprilia.
At least their engines are a direct carryover from their italian heritage

@@chrispetrou9926 Some of their bikes are at least partially assembled in China.
@@lgrw660factory All 4 current models are made in Italy using Kawasaki sourced engines.

Not with welding like that. It is pretty atrocious. The rest looks nice though. 15k ish [he thinks] would be too much for a Chinese produced bike.
@@fyorbaneYeah, the that welding is not fine, but the rest of the bike is finished pretty well.
Did Triumph show up with the NEW 400’s????
A realistic seat height
Show us the Corsaro Sport, it's much more interesting.
The Chinese 650cc motor lets the X-Cape down. I’ve ridden it and its very banal. Lets hope the others coming through are better.
La précédente était plus jolie mais plus haute et plus lourde.Celle ci avec 800mm devrait faire un malheur avec moins de 210 kg.
🆒😎🤘!
It's a Chinese brand. Made in China. They can't sell them in over 3/4 price as European brands.
Morini vs Guzzi, residual value in 4 years.........
Still chinese right?
Yup
15 k ! 😂 they lost their mind
The x Cape will cost even more
Nobody gonna buy it
Chinese junk with a few nice bits from brembo etc bolted on after arriving at the italian finishing factory!
Is this company China owned?
Unfortunately yes
@@davidemarsu7098 👍
Cb1000r 2018-2020 😂😂
I'll stick to Chinese takeaway
Thanks i pass . it looks cheap castings like made in philiphiness
So they copied a cb1000R lol….
Bad welds at. 1:21

You stick to your parallel twins, fella. Maybe, a pristine 1993 CB500 gets you all excited. You're welcome to it.
