The Beta enduro's are great, a friend runs the Adventure Rider Centre and dropped Husqvarna for Sherco, but has had 3 Beta's running for the last 2 years day in day out, He says they are really reliable, in his words, they arent as much of a race bike as the Sherco, but they win on reliability, and I trust his words utterly, his business relies on reliability and the bikes get run hard. Cheers for doing your thing mate, looking forward to more
I'm a hard Enduro rider single track etc. I love my beta 300 things a tractor. Keep regular maint and have an upgraded lithium battery fmf pipe. Love it. I'm going to buy one of these new adventure bikes.
The old one is a dr350 engine so about 35hp at the best. I did 10k km on it and its very fun. She deserve some mods. The silencer is about 10kg ! But for the new one i Wonder what engine it is
Wow... That 4.0 is very sharp and intriguing. If only it had a little wind protection, and possibly a Rally tower, I would be fighting the urge to look into that one. I love the silver one! I don’t know if it was the lighting or what, but everything you were saying was red looked very orange to me... Thanks!
Thank you 😊 I got rid of my crf 300 rally because the headlight was so bad and the spokes were corroded…just wondering if you know or got a feel for the build quality on the Beta brand while you had a look around their stand? Once again thanks for doing these videos 😊
I once had a CRF250L and bought a Beta Alp200 to have something much more lighter on offroad, I eventually sold the CRF but in short, built quality on the BETA alp 200 is very inferior to the HONDA, same was on the previous BETA alp 4.0. for example the plastics on the BETA can be damaged and cracked very easily, they are less flexible IMO, electrical connections on my alp 200 look very cheap compared to Honda, switch gear, Same. On the road the alp 200 is more rigid, the CRF was like a Cadillac in comparison😅 but then it comes alive on offroad situations where the suspension on the alp feels much better than the CRF IMO. The seat is hard and uncomfortable after half hour of riding ,on all BETA's as far as I'm concerned they all have horrible seats. BUT, they all perform well in offroad situations which that are designed and focused on.
The build quality has been superb on every Beta enduro I’ve ridden/come across in the wild. The Alp seems like a different beast but may be similarly well built
I'm really pleased you showed the new Alp 4.0. I didn't know Beta had been working on a new one. I currently own a MK1 which uses the legendary and reliable Suzuki DR350 engine. I had been thinking about upgrading to something a bit newer and this could be it. I think this new one looks great. Any idea if this is Beta's own engine or are they using someone else's? The only negative with this could be price. The 200 Alp is currently on sale for £5250 so this new 4.0 is likely to be much more than I'd like.😢 Cheers. Edit: Just done some research and the engine is all new designed by Beta in conjunction with Tayo. ( Never heard of them, presumably Chinese??).
I was really excited about the new Alp 4.0 since I own an Alp 200. But I'm not sure about the exposed oil radiator, the fixed passenger pegs, the smallish suspension travel, the exposed downside of the engine/exhaust. Maybe I expected too much sportiness from the new Alp. Maybe it's a much better bike on TET trails than its spec sheet promises. A bit like my (old) Alp 200 which is surprisingly good for TET Wales solo. Gotta see my Beta dealer in Nürnberg to see it in flesh, Günter PS: Rumours say that there is a Beta 250 four-strike XTrainer coming up
The Alp X's protruding radiator looks like a certain critical failure when you drop the bike (and you know you will drop it!). The Alp 4.0's just looke the same but with an extra plastic piece to break.
I'm sure I would, though I would have thought with Beta's experience that they'd know that too and design it a different way... I wonder if they'll let me drop one to see?
Sort of a shocking offering considering how well put together Betas line in. Looks like more of a badge engineer/collaboration than an actual Beta product.
Thank you for showing us the new Beta bikes . 👍I ride a Beta 300rr two stroke myself and I can tell you it is a amazing bike.
Several people asked for it, so I was happy to take a look. It’s been quite popular too which is great for Beta!

@@AboxoroxRoxursox they do look interesting, do you know what service intervals on that engine are?
@@barebonesmc I would bet money they are identical to their new 2024 RS street legal enduros on intervals
Another good video Andre 😄
Thanks again!
Good video. I like this sort of essential bike. Light and power right for the main used. Nice proposal.
Yup. It's what they do. Nothing fancy, but some people don't need or want fancy.
Never heard of the Beta Alp 4.0 until this video, it looks pretty cool. I'd be interested in seeing HP figures
I expect they will post such things on their website.

No problem.
I wish I had the money for one of these! Looking to upgrade and I love the way this thing looks!
One day perhaps!

It was red in person, and I thought the same in the edit. Seeing it in daylight is probably the best way to be sure but I’m fairly sure it’s red.
@@PeakMotorcycles cool. Yeah, the Beta’s that I have seen here in the states are very similar to Honda red.
Thank you! 😊

Hi, all the stand bikes are factor my fresh and have probably had a valet so it’s not possible to tell I’m afraid.

For some reason the 4.0 X is the street version and the 4.0 is the more offroad version. More travel and ground clearance on the 4.0.
Politely put 🤣. Most conventions would suggest the opposite.

Presumably. Let's see how it's priced... Everything seems more expensive these days.
Super interesting bike!

That is a serious bike!

I suppose trying one is the best way to know, but sometimes that is difficult for trail bikes.
An interesting stand
Thanks. Glad you found it so!
The first one looks pretty decent. Looks better in that orangey red. Nick J
I’m surprised I don’t see more of them on the roads.

I'm not that familiar with their range, but will trust your word on that. The Alps are definitely a different class to the trials and enduro bikes.
Bring it over sea to America
Are Beta's not available in the US? (Or just this one not yet?)

That Alp 4.0 looks sweet. Heavy competition for many like Kove 450 rally or Fantic 500 Rally. Comes second only to my Honda XR400R. 😊
I’m sure it’s a fraction of the cost. For those that don’t need the extra spec it’s an excellent choice!
C'est ridicule ce support de plaque, pas possible défaire de l'off road avec ça.
If it’s that bad, I’m sure aftermarket options will be available soon enough!
