GREEN BEAUTY! Can you please research and then do a video on the effects of hard water versus soft water on natural hair. Please let the natural hair community know that it's not just co washing and twist outs that grow natural hair very long. Many youtubers highly promote those things for growing black hair, but it is exercise and soft water that are KEY components in doing so. Many would greatly appreciate an honest video on this! Thank you so much. Faithful subscriber here!

The one two punch of essential oils and burn the little blood suckers with the good ole Hot comb >:)!! You know it's so interesting how just in caring for our hair we unknowingly made ourselves an unpleasant environment for lice at a young age. I didn't get a relaxer until 9-ish(went natural as an adult) but before that I would wear it in braids and then Mama would Hot Comb it at least once a month. Also once my hair was fixed "I bet not touch it!" hahaha! :) So I never let anyone play in my hair for fear I would frizz/mess it up. I always kinda looked wistfully at the little girls of other races (because at my school all the little black girls were under the Same Commandment: Thou shall NOT touch the Hair Mama/Grandma has Fixed! At least that I saw :) playing with each others hair and wondered if I missed out on some fun.. But now with the Heebie Jeebies these 2 videos have given me ..... .........yeah NOPE! That's why there are Dolls.

funny you posted these videos on lice. my 5 year daughter came home with a letter stating a kid in her class had lice 3 weeks ago. my daughter is mixed with type 2/3 hair and I used a oil mix with tea tree and peppermint oils. my husband think it's over kill where her hair looks oily but I have a newborn and don't want the baby to get it.
I never had lice but my husband did as kid. I don't want my family to get. thank for this video.

Hopefully no other kid shows up to school with lice. 😊 My daughter's hair is so thick if she gets lice I may have to cut her waist length hair because she hates combs. She doesn't even like finger combing her hair. I wouldn't be able to get near her with a nit comb. Practicing preventative measures now. 😊

My mother in law bought my daughter a hoodie while on vacation and didnt wash it and she caught it from wearing it. So trying on hats, hoodies, or even sunglasses at a store you can catch them. It is so very frustrating. It took me 3 days to get all of the nits out and everyone in the house had them from all laying in her room watching a movie.

If i were to find out that bugs are in my head im shaving all the way down to the scalp and then use a razor to get it smooth. I used to work at walgreens and for weeks there were a lot of white moms buying ridx for their kids.

My little cousin has lice and I dont know if I do, I mean I feel the almost sensation of something crawling but a louse has never fallen out of my hair or I've never picked one out. My dad won't check my hair he says im fine but im gonna try and use these for my little cousin cuz my aunt won't take her to the doctor to get them removed. I just hope I don't have it and it's just the anxiety of someone having it and me being around it.

albeeinla you can hand wash the lice comb after using it. Just make sure to dry it with al pepper towel before you put it away so it doesn't rust

Just buy tea tree shampoo and conditioner instead trying to measure tea tree oil. For African Americans, who are around a large amounts those are the ones who have to watch more carefully. So, when your kids come home look everyday. In fact, just wash your child's and your hair with tea tree shampoo once a week and use tea tree and oils regularly.

One scalp is very dry and one sercetes oils naturally to the point where ,the hair needs to be washed often ...oily would seem hard to grasp onto too however, I feel ...
They like tht kind of environment as well...
I dnt think they thrive In a dry one
So tht along with hair type I feel are factors

  • @Ebonyides

I saw this video and thought who the heck had lice this bad??? It was an insensitive funny thought, but it is true in nature that simple species evolve more quickly than other complex species. Which is why these things are getting harder and harder to get rid of! Just be safe and aware, because if you have hair you CAN get them lol.

Drench your body, head & hair in 100% Neem Oil. Warm solid oil to liquid, put it on your body from head to toe, don’t miss any crevices, and cover your hair with a plastic shower cap. Leave on for one hour. Shower & shampoo & condition your hair. Wash & dry ALL your bedding & clothing in the HOTTEST temperature possible. If eggs hatch later, repeat this process. Neem is relatively inexpensive and very good for your skin & hair.
