Cartoon Theory I honestly can't believe how much I love this album. I'm on my 5th listen and it just gets better with each listen. Don't even get me started on the end of multivitamin juice pt. 1 haha.
got off work at 230 this morning, been straight bumming over a previous lady friend, then got kinda bummed that I'm just now showing up to the owane party, but 4 tracks in and I'm just fucking happy I made it to this party period and fucking all is well now at 430am. fucking medicinal jams here dude!
I have a signed copy of this on CD, have listened countless times, and I continue to be amazed at every aspect of this masterpiece. It's perfection on so many levels. I'm always hunting for new music, and sometimes I kid myself by suggesting that perhaps Owane is not the GOAT...... lol 🤘
The third point to complete the "internet guitarists doing fancy progressive music" triangle, with Plini, David Maxim Micic and now you ! Really cool music, lots of melodies, dynamics variations, ambiances, and not so guitar oriented (which is a very very good thing) ! Insta-buy
I LOVE how this opens with a GREAT phrase that keeps one guessing and off-balance , then mellows into breathing space to let the intro settle........ then kicks back in with some edge and spine-tingling progressions toward a recapitulation and modulation of the main theme then, as if it hasn't been beautiful enough, it kicks even higher with octave melodies and then a gorgeous mist-shrouded river ride into the rhythmic rapids and splashing poly-colored immersions and way cool groove-shift that seems like a 6/8 but instantly morphs into a transformer-bot and second theme recapitulation and just as that takes wing the ride suddenly but gently slows to a quasi-techno pool of reverberating lushness, no, off again into hyper-rhythmic variations and glitchy solo ADD the violin...here' comes another theme that sounds like a closer but who knows...always kept guessing, here come more waves of thematic material, the river goes and goes to the sea....oh wait, I forgot this was an LP, I thought I was describing one song, oh well. It all goes together so perfectly. Swim and breathe, let brain receive.
Haven’t heard anything like this all together. Pieces but nothing that has been mixed together effortlessly. Or it seems such. I knight you, Sir Composition! Continue the odyssey, of the road less traveled!
I relistened to this album after about a month of not hearing it at all, and my mood was legitimately ACTUALLY improved. what is this magic, and why is this music so amazing
I am HUGELY digging this style. the heavy inclusion of the piano and xylophone, and giving this an overall jazz like feel. reminds me of Sithu Aye's "Set Course For Andromeda" with much more jazz. this is like 60/40 where his is like 75/25. Loving this :D
I really enjoy how creatively you blend genres together, and on top of it all the interesting musical textures you use without sounding unclear. If I lived in your region of the world, I would definitely try to audition for your band !
So as a self proclaimed "good music connoisseur" and musician I gotta confess this album might be my all time favorite. Its unlike anything else.. So many different fully developed ideas from such opposite ends of the spectrum are condensed into such genuinely creative pieces of art.. I might be pushing it a lil bit but i feel you're in a league all your own man, the stuff is powerful.. Can't wait for the new stuff:)

This is not progressive rock, or jazz, or metal, this is progressive fusion jazz. The best elements from progressive metal, math core along with the awesomeness of jazz.
Was just turned onto this band and they’ve already become one of my favorites, a band I can’t stop listening to and has been a regular part of my listening rotation. Thanks Owane!! My only criticism is that it should be 15 minutes longer😋🤘. The groove in the Summer Jam that starts at 10:32 is so hot, I could listen to them jam on it for at least 15 more minutes. Not a real criticism obviously because it’s so amazing, but that groove is just so tight, I was sad to hear it end so quickly.
finally after so many years (my last once in a lifetime track was "Im freaking out" by the dixie dregs) owane comes around and takes it to the next level. Congrats and deepest respect. Worldclass!!

It's been a week since I found out you have put out a new EP. At one point I used to listen to Greatest Hits all the time. Now that I discovered this, it's gotten me to grab my guitar from its stand and practice like I haven't been practicing for many years. It's the single reason that I once again feel pure joy for just playing the instrument - and it's been missing for sooo long. So inspiring. I don't know if I can explain it, really, but in your music everything's so satisfyingly in place like in no other band's or artist's music. Sincerely grateful for every song you have uploaded here for us to wonder. 6/5

Everything Owane creates releases endorphins and bright balloons in the general area of my heart. Beautiful compositions, spectacular musicianship, superb and wonderfully tasteful lead guitar. Incredible. This music resides in my subconscious now I've listened so much. SO GOOD.
