Ron sent some spares for my antenna and after 100k miles up and down the UK motors it needed it. Also I uses sold 8mm stainless steel whip at 4.6 on 160m as the whips interact with the van. But really the best mobile antenna and I have tried most of the and Ron aways helpful. Thanks Richard m0uoo hope to work you mobile to mobile
I own a 680. I wish it didn't use a 19v motor. It feels underwhelming when its running at 14.3v and even worse at 12v. However, the antenna is absolutely a monster for mobile operatons.
Very nice video I wish it was taken from taking it apart from the top and how to connect the power to control the antenna up and down sorry newby here. 73

Pro tip : you can watch series on flixzone. Me and my gf have been using them for watching all kinds of movies during the lockdown.
@Kaleb Arthur Definitely, have been using Flixzone for years myself :D

Does the coil get hot at higher power? Can this antenna, as configured here, handle a 400W FT8 signal?
