4-5 turns of wire (say 14 awg) in a 4-foot diameter loop with the ends shorted should trip the loop detector. Probably less work to make this than to drag those signs around :)

Yah except i already knew how to do that. It does work with your moto. Its all about placement. It also works with my onewheel and this big ass neodymium magnet. Also, the magnet gets free credits at the self serv car wash. You're welcome. Mr engineer.

Something to think about: That is considered a form of theft and you can be prosecuted by the management if they choose to do so. There should be an intercom button that would be much easier if you leave your badge. However, I'm sure they would rather you use this method than forcing the gates by hand which could cause thousands of dollars in damages which they likely would pursue prosecution for if they caught you on camera. I'm speaking from experience as someone in the Parking business.

You need to retitled this how to steal parking and cheat the safe guards. It's LAZ so I'm not surprised they don't have the A-Frame tied down so it can't be moved.
Also I guarantee there's no motorcycle signs everywhere that you ignored too.
At the end you should have said, "good thing I'm a thief."

DACouture yes if my company didn’t pay for monthly parking it would be stealing.

@@RichardBronosky so why aren't you using your monthly access for exit then?
You can justify your actions all you want to yourself but 1) you're not the owner and 2) you manipulated the equipment through unconventional means to facilitate an exit at no charge.
I'm sure that equipment is equiped with both an intercom for telephonic assistance and/or a lost ticket feature.

DACouture I kept the key fob in my car because the bar gate never worked for my motorcycle anyway. I always drive around it. But this was the first time I was at work after 10pm and the rolling door was closed. There was no answer on the intercom.

@@DACouture413 You seem like the kind of person to tell the teacher they forgot to assign homework. I really wish there were less of you, though I suppose the world is a rich tapestry.
