- (12-29-18) Of course we have to check up on these WONDERFUL elevators in the cold! This time, we check up on the Northeast bank of the west garage and they are having more problems!

This video is the definition of inverted classic leveling on an elevator.

The way these run in the cold give me vibes of the Schindler MT’s in Garage A at Willow bend. They do exactly what these do but the doors aren’t open. They overshoot the floor and level down but also those bounce like crazy in the cold. In the warm they run decently

I think the elevators are technically Westinghouse since there's a video on STL's channel that reveals the secret behind the chime.
These are Westinghouse from the 1960s. Schindler modernized them in 1990 with new controllers. They’ve since been modernized again.

This particular elevator is over-running the lowest and highest floor and could trip safety/governor if it goes any further.

The leveling is like the Dover I found except it doesn’t even level with the floor, it under levels from about a inch to 2 inches. Spoke with building management, apparently they don’t have the budget to fix it, which I don’t believe especially because it’s a nice hospital. They even modded the 500a’s that ran the smoothest and best I’ve ever seen a Schindler run with Kone… the other office building which is a twin to the other has the original ones

Jason, I am serious in saying that you need to report the one floor rider because I really don't think she has good intentions. If she keeps coming into your elevator, she could be potentially stalking you and Andrew. So, please, for everything that is good, report the one floor rider to the cops before she potentially tries to harm you!
