What a pleasant trip back in time! This was a live performance at Frankfurt Jazz Fest recorded live October 10, 2006. The Line up was Otis (Vocals,acoustic gtr, harmonica, banjo and mandolin), Cassie (Bass, Vocals) Zach Miskin (Cello), Josh Kelly (Drums and Percussion) and myself Jonn Del Toro Richardson(Guitar). Otis, Josh and I had been out for a couple weeks and this night was the first night I'd played with Cassie and Zach as they joined up with us later in the tour. A friend of mine found this show bootlegged on line its titled "Otis Taylor, Trance Blues Project" remember the show like it was yesterday. Was playing my 54 Goldtop through a Fender Vibrolux and a ProCo Rat for overdrive with the tremolo from the amp.
I'm a White boy, my friend from Basic Training , USAF a Black boy, 50 years ago, and I just reconnected a month ago....we both don't have much longer on this dirt....I passed this song to him....brothers.

Excellent song, the fiddle by Anne Harris sets the mood then the guitar takes over, Just Beautiful!!! Cassie Taylor has a beautiful Voice also. You live music is awesome!! Thank You Otis and the gang!!!!

I agree totally I have not heard a bad song from Otis and his band. It amazes me how you can really tell who cares about the music that they're putting out the quality is always better when musicians are writing and recording music that comes from their hearts and for these guys and others like them I can't think of enough music is the only thing that makes my life bearable that and the Lord above and my family and my kids
In an age where adjectives such as magnificient or excellent are used so unduly to describe so called artistic pieces... Otis Taylor manages to create another magnificient piece... Simply amazing...
