Egal ob Klassik, Rock, Heavy Metal, Techno, Trance usw.... diese Boxen klingen einfach wahnsinnig gut. Man sollte aber nicht vergessen, das dieses Set zum absoluten Highend gehört und nicht gerade jeder hat kurzerhand mal 20.000 Euro für einen CD Player über, geschweige für dieses Set welches im Video gezeigt wird und ich nur mal die Preise überflogen habe die doch jenseits der 200.000 Euro liegen. Wie geschrieben, ich gönne es jedem der sich ein solches System in die Wohnung stellen kann. Auch wenn ich so etwas gerne hätte, so fehlt mir doch das nötige Kleingeld dafür. Aber ich finde es toll das es solche Nischenprodukte im Endsegment des Highends gibt.

Actually, really nice sound at the end of the day. Very lively. Having a pretty capable system myself and wish youtube increases the sound quality to a loseless level one day. Considering getting an amazon unlimited just for the sake of higher audio quality. Hate streaming, but damn it - it is convenient :-)

It is very good for the money, so it will be interesting to see which service will sound better. BTW i have noticed that the protective film is still on that TAD PreAmp display - probably a brand new unit. Guess it will sound even better after some "break-in".

Let's clarify something, it's good if the music here is SA-CD, then it's measured in 24bit 192khz. As far as I know, SA-CD is 2.8 MHz 1-bit. Well, DSD uses 64 times the sampling frequency of traditional CD: 2.882 MHz as opposed to 44.1 kHz. The multiplier of 64 was not chosen by chance.
@mikem5487 Sure, but none of that really matters in this case when we're listening to these speakers and system over TH-cam's low bitrate lossy compression. 😊 It still sounds quite good though thanks to proper recording techniques and good microphones.

Sorry for the opinion of a novice, but in my view, the sound quality here is determined by the quality of the CD mastering, while the components of the setup merely preserve and/or embellish it. In other words, the weak point always remains the audio recording itself, which in this case is the CD.

If we place the microphones in the listening position, they will actually record more of the ambience, so we use a headphone to find the location resembling the sound we hear at the sweet spot of that particular location as closely as possible. @@HiFiImmersion По поводу недостатка низов. Лет 15 назад, мы сделали тестовое прослушивание 15 дюймового сабвуфера. Прослушивали PF с эстрадного усилителя 1200w, через режекторный фильтр. Сверху ограничили 120 Hz, а снизу регулировали от 10 до 80 Hz. Источником был CD диск, воспроизводимый на компьютере со звуковой картой. Так вот, были очень удивлены, что на нашей записи ниже 55 Hz практически ничего не было записано. Всё звуки начинались примерно от 63 Hz. А о представленной на видео системе, можно только мечтать. Спасибо что поделились видео.

Why would you upload this on TH-cam? It has severe distortion which is caused by the mike you used. Well I hope that is the issue and not the system itself.
The whole point is to let people discern how the sound of each system differs. We are trying to record what you would hear at the sweet spot of that particular venue as closely as possible, so you will get better experience with better playback device as well. Thank you for watching. 😂
It's only the point if you are in the same room as the speakers, then you can evaluate them. Otherwise listening to them on TH-cam or through a third party audio system is pointless, and you should know this if you're worth your salt.

Complete waste of time on your part, since the sound is determined by whatever equipment the listener uses. Some on here are probably raving and getting all doe-eyed while listening through laptop speakers. Does it sound good? Sure. But this is Pink Floyd, after all.

You are right that the playback device will affect what you hear, but as we are trying to record what you hear at the sweet spot at that particular venue as closely as possible, so if the sound of the system is good, the reproduced sound will be good as well, but if the original sound is bad, it will be bad regardless of what you use as the playback device. We don’t know why this information is necessary as PCM and DSD are two different methods of recording sound digitally.

Everything is fine my end, im not saying this sounds horrible but it's far from great.
I don't know if it's the microphones or however it was captured and I understand it's through TH-cam but I've heard stuff on TH-cam sound way better than this
Why would you upload this on TH-cam? It has severe distortion which is caused by the mike you used. Well I hope that is the issue and not the system itself.

This is pointless really, as it only sounds as good as the gear you're watching it on or playing back through.
The whole point is to let people discern how the sound of each system differs. We are trying to record what you would hear at the sweet spot of that particular venue as closely as possible, so you will get better experience with better playback device as well. Thank you for watching. 😂
It's only the point if you are in the same room as the speakers, then you can evaluate them. Otherwise listening to them on TH-cam or through a third party audio system is pointless, and you should know this if you're worth your salt.

Complete waste of time on your part, since the sound is determined by whatever equipment the listener uses. Some on here are probably raving and getting all doe-eyed while listening through laptop speakers. Does it sound good? Sure. But this is Pink Floyd, after all.
@@JimmyRJump Not really. You can actually discern the sound of each system and venue, and that’s the whole point for this. You are right that the playback device will affect what you hear, but as we are trying to record what you hear at the sweet spot at that particular venue as closely as possible, so if the sound of the system is good, the reproduced sound will be good as well, but if the original sound is bad, it will be bad regardless of what you use as the playback device.
