I don't know if you'd ever come across it, but avoid watching Gummo if you hate that type of stuff. Especially if you're like me and loooove cats. It's the only movie I've turned off while in the middle of watching. ☹️
Fun fact. I have arachnophobia. Wanna know why? When I was about a year old the house we stayed in had an infestation of wolf spiders. One night my mom said I was screaming. She came running in to see me covered in spiders and tons of spider bites. Yup. Nightmare.
I'm from France (living in Bermuda now) and I lived in a place like that (ghetto = banlieu in french) with some friends and family. We are talking like that, raw and we look angry when we talk. It's our way to express ourselves 😂. It's really accurate hahahaha ! Love your reaction guys !!! And I'm amazed and happy that you react on your first french movie 🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵
This is the 1st movie in a long long time that I screamed. OMG. Thank you for the awesome reaction and I’m traumatized. My cats were looking at me like I was insane, and my neighbor knocked on my door.😂😂
I like how they made the comparison between the spiders and the residents of the low income apartments. Just like the residents, the spiders were minding their own business before someone bigger than them uncovered them and displaced them from their home (many residents were moving out or had moved out). A lot of people are afraid of both and considered them dangerous when really they were just trying to survive and were only attacking when they felt threatened.
This movie is the DEFINITION of F around & find out! I faced my spider fears for y’all & watched along. The flyswatter had me 💀Major props to Sergio for going back & editing this! 🙌🏼 The soundtrack was awesome. It almost offset my fear 😂 The longer the movie went on the more I felt like spiders were crawling on me 😭 The last 30 minutes were so intense! The way I’d just throw myself out the window or something instead of dealing w/ all THAT 😳 Justice for the sweet puppy 😢 Thanks for reacting to this & forcing me to watch along 😂💚
I watched this with Nick and even though I felt bad for the trauma you put him through. I thoroughly loved it and it really surprised me because I thought it would be gross.
I didn’t even watch this reaction, I listened. I’m sooo good on seeing spiders. I don’t need that stress in my life but listening to you two was entertaining enough 😂
Second message The director is also the co wroter of the movie and it's Sam Raimi who asked him. Apparently it will be a new one with no connexion to the others with also french actors speaking english and ofc americans. For Infested (Vermine in french) he said it's analogy between these insects that we don't want to see, that we want to crush, and the inhabitants of working-class neighborhoods and also and he would even extend the symbolism to xenophobia in general. And I agree
I saw this film as a premiere at the Venice Film Festival last year. It was 8 am, I was with two friends and I can confirm that watching Infested surrounded by darkness in front of a giant screen had a certain effect on me! 😂 There were few brave people in the room with us, especially at that early hour of the morning, but the room was filled with screams and WTH all the time lol!
Same! I'm not really scared of spiders/arachnophobic per se, but I would rather observe them from a distance and trap them/toss them outside than physically handle one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Spiders with rain drop hats give me life!
The two fly swatters are actually ADORABLE. Just watched this film in prep for this reaction. For a directorial debut it's pretty solid! And the ending shot of the building coming down was AWESOME.
Got out of the shower once a couple of years ago and grabbed a towel that was hanging up, as I dried my face a Spider was in it and I felt it against me.
I can confirm this is not the biggest we see in Australia, Cody did mention huntsman’s which love dark corners the worst is when you’re in your car and you pull down the sun visor and it drops on you. They usually grow to the size of your whole hand but they’re harmless probably more scared of you than you are of it. The ones you want to watch out for are smaller and you probably won’t notice them
This was the first movie in a LONG time (as a horror fan who's watched them since they were a kid) where I slept with the light on after I watched it. This movie stayed on my skin with how well they did the suspense, environment building, tension and feeling like as the spiders grew in numbers they were just closing in on everything. Great production, acting, visceral. Side note: your editing is peak. It helps break the tension so much. I cackled at the Carl meme, because that is me too whenever I see an animal, especially a dog, in a horror movie.
Cody talking about spiders in shoes - I actually did this as a kid. Went to put my shoe on and wondered why my foot started to itch. Looked inside and there’s a huge huntsman spider looking back at me. Ever since I look in my shoes before putting on. Or I wear 🩴
Dude. The trailer alone for this movie gave me anxiety and want to physically recoil and watching you two watch the film for me was, honestly, still just as horrifying of an experience as if I watched it alone by myself lmao. I cannot. I've had hardcore aracnaphobia all of my life and the old film from the 90's is a HUGE part of that.
Cody does it again. I read an interview with the director today and he used 200 Huntsman spiders because he said he wanted spiders that, at least when smaller, looked like spiders you would get in your shower etc. Whereas tarantulas which are commonly used in films, are not commonly seen in bathtubs.
Though I am happy to have found your channel... I am so mad for watching this movie! I am extremely arachnaphobic and am freaking out! I have PTSD from a spider encounter, when I was 4 that sent me to the hospital for my very 1st asthma attack. Great reaction!
I also had an 8 legged demon experience when I was little! Though I don’t have ptsd from it, I will never forget it and have the worst phobia omg. I’m so sorry you have ptsd, wishing you happiness and healing
I live in the Midwest and I’ve killed many brown recluse spiders in my house and garage. I check my shoes every time I put them on, and I do check under the toilet seat too. I put out a bunch of sticky traps and caught dozens of them! 😫😬
You guys need to watch the OG arachnophobia with Jeff Daniels. I saw that when I was LITTLE and it's given me severe arachnophobia since. Toilet spiders have always been a thing to me
ty for the reaction!! the fly swatters bit was so cute, I bet they're GREAT at obscuring vision but allowing you to peep just a little bit :^)) not sure if yall have seen it but, Eight Legged Freaks is very good if you like "turn your brain off" + "self aware" + kinda funny horror
Great reaction! I dont have arachnaphobia and this made me itchy lol. The director of this (Sébastien Vaniček) is working on the next Evil Dead movie now. Makes me even more excited seeing how well this was done. See ya next time!
guys, I have had a serious case of arachnophobia since I was a toddler, for over 50 years now! I have seen the movie Arachnophobia, and since then I have been a sucker for spider movies, including silly ones like "Big @$$ Spider", "8 Legged Freaks", "Lavalantula" and its sequel, as well as other "B" spider movies. But this one, I've never heard of it until now.................... and I'm not sure if I WANT to see the full movie!😅
My Arizona blonde recently passed and ever since, even seeing CGI spiders and tarantulas die hurts my soul RIP Carley, she woulda kicked all these spiders' asses T_T
So glad you guys loved mathys, he was really the only one with his feet on the ground in the situation, plus he had everyone’s best interests at heart, maybe a little disappointing or underwhelming death for him but man he was a total hero
I know I'm three weeks late to comment, BUT WHILE CAMPING LAST WEEKEND I happened to somehow notice a Wolf Spider walking past the bonfire in the dark. It was carrying its children. They ended up going into the fire that night so I could sleep in somewhat peace 🥴
not me telling my horror movie friends that i have seen movies like this and terrifier because i have watched reaction videos :3 i shall add infested to the list of movies i have "seen" thank you Sergio and Cody for all the epic and amazing content you both are hilarious xoxo
as a spider lover, they were terrifying the movie itself would have been better if the sis was the protag, imo. we needed to follow someone worth caring about, her brother was not it.
thank you. honestly i don’t think i could watch this movie alone or with people who don’t get my fear my spiders. I actually love tarantulas i think they’re awesome and kinda cool looking. They’re like the pet version of spiders which is weird considering how many are venomous. But i think it’s also in their behaviour to only do it as a defense mechanism that makes me love them. Black widows or literally any other type of spider scares me to no end i have no idea why truly but it’s SO scary to me. Maybe it’s because of how small and fast they are.
So glad you guys are reacting this especially that Cody hates spiders! LMAO. I hope y'all react to the hottest movie of the year, Challengers!! Thank you for your reactions
When I say I’m a fan I was hesitant to watch this cause spiders really creep me out but I watched all of your videos already so I sacrificed 90% my eyes were closed 😂
Y’all should watch The Possession it’s a movie that freaked me out growing up very underrated I feel like y’all would have a good time. Just found your channel and I’m obsessed with y’all!!!!!!
I started this movie last week and couldn't finish it because I kept feeling things crawl on me. I'm glad you two are reacting to it so I can actually finish the movie!
I finally watched the movie last night because I wanted to watch before the reaction. I swear Sergio and I were the same person! Between the squirming , yelling , and jumping ….this movie definitely had me 😂
We live on a farm in the northern california coast, on the oregon border, and its been getting warmer here than usual so we've been finding black widows the last couple years.... I always check my shoes before I put them on anymore lmao. I know black widows are fairly docile unless threatened but I'm not taking any chances.
I love you both lots of fun watch movies with you but I would never ask you to watch a movie about spiders for my entertainment but I'm glad you did. Had a good time watching it with you❤
Fun fact the reason back in the day the number of attacks of black widow spiders on men was higher because when using the outhouse the danglers would be bitten by the spider
There's no way in hell I would/could watch this by myself, this is probably the first reaction from yall where I didn't watch or even want to watch the movie you covered. Thank you for making this experience more entertaining.
I wanted them to bunt the whole apartment down since the start! I have bad arachnophobia so I had to push through this whole movie! I felt so damn itchy afterwards and I swear to you the day after I watched this I saw spider webs on my moms car before I went to work. And then later on my way home from work there was a spider was dangling from the roof of the car next to me. FUCK THAT 😂💀 I was so sad and pissed off that Maggie (the cute dog) died poor baby 🫠😭
Hi! Have you guys watched Eight legged freaks? That is my Childhood spider movie, still watch it some times. I recomended it.I watched this movie (Infested)because I saw your reaction coming out and I had fun. Even tho I have a fear of spiders , a good spider movie was needed.
Lol Cody I am with you. It goes as far as that I flush a toilet before I use it if it is not my own and I ALWAYS turn my shoes upside down and like shake them before putting them on. I am not taking any chances no ma'am!!!
I am completely fine with all bugs EXCEPT arachnids. I've often wondered why my phobia is so strong. Pretty sure one of the reasons was I got bit on the neck by a spider and my dad told me in a couple of days I was going to spin myself into a cocoon and turn into one :) (There's a lot of reasons why I haven't spoken to said father in twenty years.) I really enjoyed this movie! It was like a combo of REC, Arachnophobia and Attack the Block. I jumped quite a few times lol
I have a phobia of spiders...like being paralyzed in fear kind of terror. So I feel your anxiety here, and also..i will be seeing spiders everywhere after this. But thanks anyway for the laughs!
I loved this movie bc it was so gnarly !! So I was extra excited to have you watch it!!! And I couldn’t stop laughing 😂😂 I know its horrible but you guys freaking out so much was killing me 😂
Sorry guys but I laughed so hard seing you freaking out 😂 I'm not scared of spiders but here I'll scream too if I see huge one like those. By the way, they worked a lot with real spiders. Hats off to the cast. Proud of them and the movie as a french. Usually I don't like french movies but we made pretty good horror one. I liked the characters, their backstory and their friendship
I fucking hate spiders. I get itchy every where and scratch till my skin is red. But I love you guys too much to skip this video. I will power through for you two xx
I recommend looking up videos/pics of spiders with raindrops on their heads as a cool down after this movie (it fits with the general spider theme - and while it won't get rid of arachnophobia, it'll probably give a temporary 404 error to it depending on severity). ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again- thank you for NEVER showing the wounded/killed animals on this channel! ❤ I seriously appreciate it!
Literally why I can’t watch Drag Me to Hell
I don't know if you'd ever come across it, but avoid watching Gummo if you hate that type of stuff. Especially if you're like me and loooove cats. It's the only movie I've turned off while in the middle of watching. ☹️
@@KandiStomperIdk I love cats, but I can still watch it (as long as the animals aren't tortured, if so, I skip it😭😭)
Was JUST coming here to say the same thing. You guys love your babies as much as we do and it shows.
THIS! Heart, like, thumbs up, repost! This is an animal-friendly safe zone.
Dude’s like, “Mom liked spiders,” as if his mom would have wanted a whole building full of people to die.
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
The movie is about "TRAUMA "
in so many different iterations!
Fun fact. I have arachnophobia. Wanna know why? When I was about a year old the house we stayed in had an infestation of wolf spiders. One night my mom said I was screaming. She came running in to see me covered in spiders and tons of spider bites. Yup. Nightmare.
Oh my god 😟
Giant ass wolf spiders? Screw. That. I don't blame you. 😭
I would have simply passed away
@shanianavarro2539 there's over 2500 types of wolf spiders. This was house spiders in canada. They bite and have fur
Hell no. Nuh uh
When the spiders came out of the drain I had the same reaction 17:30
I burst out laughing at their reaction 😅😂
Best part of the whole movie

This is the directors first movie and he will be directing the new Evil Dead Spin Off!
This is the 1st movie in a long long time that I screamed. OMG. Thank you for the awesome reaction and I’m traumatized. My cats were looking at me like I was insane, and my neighbor knocked on my door.😂😂
Eight Legged Freaks (2002) feat. David Arquette was kinda fun.
It's so good too!
Agreed
That movie was my childhood!

React to the film: DOG SOLDIERS (2002), a very good British horror, brutal and with charismatic and curious characters, you'll like it.
I saw this film as a premiere at the Venice Film Festival last year. It was 8 am, I was with two friends and I can confirm that watching Infested surrounded by darkness in front of a giant screen had a certain effect on me! 😂
