He's literally Mr. Herbert... His voice, his actions, his age, and the fact that he has a picture of Seth Green signed by him is the cherry on top. Seth Green ladies and gentlemen, the man who voices Chris Griffin, the same Chris Griffin constantly being groomed by Herbert.
I used to work at a retirement home that housed mostly mentally ill residents. One of the residents seemed like a kind man and easy to talk too. The senior always mentioned his “lovely daughters” and how he missed them. I noticed he never got a visit from his daughters so I asked around about it and a coworker told me that he molested his daughters back in the 70s. Still gives me chills.
Reminds me of a story my friend told me. At the time, she was still studying to become an RN and was working at nursing homes over the summers. The story was pretty similar but I can't remember the specifics. Anyways, the man was talking to his wife (not the mother of his children - she had divorced him) while my friend was in the room. He said something along the lines of, "Oh, she's so beautiful. Doesn't she look a lot like *daughter's name that he molested.*" My friend didn't know about the molestation at the time until she asked why the daughter wouldn't visit. Edit: I should probably also add this. She didn't ask the man or his wife, she asked one of her coworkers.
My sister used to work are a place like this too and there was also a creep like this. They had to bath the seniors sometimes and he'll always like try to make them touch him
I feel like having the job of caretaking someone like that would bring up some really difficult ethical emotions. That sounds like a super uncomfortable situation
Yep, they've just had more time to do bad things. Rarely, do I see an old person and think, "sweet, innocent, and trustworthy" and I don't really get why people do.
@@apriljk6557 the flip side is they’ve also had more time to do good things. The bottom line is you don’t know someone just because you’ve watched their TH-cam videos
i mean, and i'm not defending it or anything, but it's probably because that very often is the case. as we get older and past our prime, our bodies and minds start basically regressing
Well from an evolutionary perspective, old people are likely to be more innocent, in basic reasoning a violent criminal would likely not live into their eldery years
Hes just trying to cover all grounds, it doesn't mean that's his personal opinion, he even says towards the end of the video that he is no way in agreement with him.
I mean here in Michigan the age of consent is 16, and I think it's the same for Ohio. The person Don groped could have been legally old enough to consent to sex and only considered a juvenile because they weren't 18 yet, which at that point would make the main problem end up being the fact that Don Imposed on the person without permission. Everyone sees the word Juvenile and just assumes "small little child" but nobody on here actually knows what happened.
A woman who was working in a supervisor position at a retirenment home one once told me: The number one mistake people tend to make is thinking all elderly people were angels.
I use to work for a security agency and was posted as the late-night security guard for a place called Catholic Charities. It is basically Hospice but also a local elderly home. One thing I was trained on for that site is to expect calls from the elderly being self-entitled and would always try to get away with things by blaming their age and in their mind, they believe it to be true and may not be aware of it. There were two residents like that but one of them actually knew what he did. I say did because they both passed away while I worked there. One of them use to call 911 and would verbally harass the nurses. It got so bad the Baltimore city captain for that local department came down to investigate. So, he, the building supervisor for the building I patrolled, and I came up with a system. If 911is called; then the security would contact the supervisor to investigate the room and the resident. If there is an emergency, then security would say it is. That one resident had to be in his own room because he would also harass the other residents. As it turned out after talking to his daughter and son in law after he passed away, he was placed there because no other healthcare facilities wanted him or kicked him out because of his history with harassment and the falsified 911 calls in addition to calling to the main lobby front desk demanding a security guard to come to his room and meals throughout the night. Sad part is I also found out that he most likely did that because his own family did not want to visit him.
Exactly. My mom works at a rehabilitation center that predominantly has elderly folks there and kinda doubles as an old folks home. She's been there for years and seen people come and go ('expire') and has come home plenty of times talking about how cruel a lot of them can be, especially the older men who don't respect her and other women or male nurses. Ive even helped out as a volunteer once during Christmas passing out gifts, and i remember a good few being straight up rude about not getting 'good' gifts and even attempting to curse me out for bringing them. Others say sexual things and try to touch you but then act innocent when you call them out. They know they can get away with it by acting fragile when the higher ups are asked for help dealing with them.
I know why old people on the internet seem wholesome and innocent, it's a world that's completely foreign to most of them and when they interact it seems adorable. What people seem to forget is that these people have lived long lives and everybody has skeletons lurking in the closet. Sometimes it's just stuff that's embarrassing or things that where deemed acceptable at the moment, but other times it's the ugly side of humanity that people just didn't want to talk about.
Yeah like finding out that Pip-Pap was a Nazi Soldier or some shit! Or a white supremacist, unfortunately there's a lot of those in the states. I mean I'm glad we're slowly evolving but there's still some people that it seems like they're devolving and it's sad.
That phrase is almost exclusively applied to elderly people who feel young for their age. Not saying his victim wasn't under 18 but you're wrong to assume thst based on that phrase.
@@DoctorJammer I don't think they said it like "age is just a number" ALWAYS means that, but with the added context of the video subject (creepy old youtubers) it would give someone a good idea of what he might be on the list for.

Seeing the elderly as docile and innocent is so foolish. I learned this many years ago. One of the worst people I have ever met is older than me and one day soon will be a grandma. To imagine this horrible woman being a grandma, and one day a true senior citizen and using that manipulate more people and con them as a sweet old lady...yeah old people are the same as any bad or good person..they just been on this planet longer. @@GioGioPietromica425 This isn't really what constitutes a freudian slip. You could argue that "age is just a number" on its own is, but it's such an oft-heard statement that I'd challenge that on that basis alone. This doesn't excuse what he did, by any means.
There was a nice woman who lived in my old neighborhood when I was a preteen I believe. She was always super friendly and was always the first one to buy any school fundraisers. She'd also get really into Christmas and Halloween and would always have lots of cool decorations and treats for the kids regardless of if they were "too old for trick or treating." I was always too introverted to really make friends with her, but I always appreciated the things she did for the neighborhood kids. We had moved away and a couple years later I'm scrolling a "sex offender near me" website thing for...fun? Out of curiosity? I don't know. I type in my address at that time, then start looking at my old addresses. She was there. I then looked her up on the actual website. She raped a boy between the age of 8 and 11, she also got a charge for either raping him with a foreign object as well, or a complete other boy. It was kind of hard to understand the legal text. Anyway, really messed me up. Always makes me wonder if she had been taking advantage of any other kids. I mean, sometimes she'd carpool kids around. I think one of the things that really grossed me out was that she had this bright beaming smile in each of her sex offender registry photos. She just seemed so happy to smile and have her picture taken. That same smile she would direct at all the neighborhood kids...
I know what you mean There was a priest who was in charge of my local parish Who was recently taken into police custody for sexual assault/misconduct(?? or something like that) and it shocked me because he was like you said always smiling at kids. I remember one time that stuck with me was our school was doing a practice of a school play (I think) and afterwards since it was a small Parish the school needed lifts to help move students to the church and back to the school. And so the priest obviously offered to help out. And I remember he asked some girls to help him move stuff back to his house and I remember he brought four or five girls back to his house to "help-out" I have reason to believe he raped them but I don't know for sure. I still wonder if he did or didn't abuse them. at the time I wanted to go too to help out to be useful, I'm glad now looking back that I never went through that door with them. I still feel sorry for those girls too.
@@gumshoe1285 Why am I not surprised it was a priest. They are the worst offenders, people trust priests because of the religious aspect and they can easily take advantage of that. I live in a mostly catholic country and I am always dumbfounded by how much people trust priests with their children etc. Not all priests are bad, of course, but the number of cases among them is very high. Disgusting.
@@gumshoe1285 If he brought 4 or 5 girls back, he very likely didn't rape them. He was likely grooming them & seeing which ones would be lest likely to tell, had already been abused etc. Of course I don't know what he did later but the saying is true as usually there is safety in numbers.
Where is the "im not surprised its a woman" comments? Its weird that women dont get highlighted like that. And lets not pretend its because "its mostly men" theres a huge chunk of female offenders that hardly ever get highlighted like that
I feel bad for Don's fans when the information about him came out about him being a sex offender. It must have hurt that someone you looked up to was really a bad guy. Multiple hearts must have shattered during that time.
it makes me uncomfortable that sexually attacking a young boy is called a "blunder". the people that were assaulted by these men will have to live with what was done to them. I don't think these predators should be allowed to forget what they did, because their victims don't get to just forget.
@@WobblesandBean seriously he just wanted to get away with it and move on as if he stole a candy bar once or something. monsters like that shouldn't just get to have huge followings, the sentiment of some of these comments lamenting his death and sympathizing with him is so depressing

I remember saying to my sister “elderly peoples are NOT innocent. They lived long lives and made human mistakes, and even evil actions that cannot be forgiven”.
I went to prison at 18 years old for shooting back at people that were trying to kill me. I felt it was self defense then, and I still feel that way. I served three years and was released at the end of 2001. In Ohio, they have what are called “gun specs” which is an enhancement to a charge because a gun was involved. I have been out of prison for 21 years now and I still have problems because of that. I get it. I messed up. I served my time. I took all the anger management classes and did everything they asked of me. But because of these gun specs, I can NEVER get my record expunged. NEVER. Sometimes, your actions have much longer lasting consequences than u can imagine. I just feel like that was kinda relevant to what Wavy was talking about at the end there.
I made a mistake at 17, then again at 20. I was a troubled young kid, man, whatever. My life is still affected by the mistakes I made over a decade ago. I cannot escape it. I can barely even move to a new country (most countries won't allow me). I hate my life every day.
We need to overhaul our justice system in so many ways. I’m not sure about a guy like Ed because I don’t really know if he grew as a person after he got punished, but even something like sexual battery shouldn’t have to follow someone around for entire decades, especially if the whole point of the justice system is to reform people. The way we hold prison time against people forever shows just how confused our priorities are. Do we want to correct people’s behavior, or do we want to punish them for punishment’s sake?
My Partner is a defense attorney in a neighboring state to yours we have similar issues, for one here and in many states we have what’s a called “the violent and sexual offenders list” Seen more than 1 person have to deal with being in the same list as pedo’s for unrelated reasons.
Honorable Mention: Robert Krampf AKA The Happy Scientist. He was an educational youtuber that posted informative and really cool science videos, ranging from demonstrations and experiments to simple education and knowledge of how certain things work. His videos were often used by teachers in lessons and classes. He seemed like a stand up guy and even got featured on several talk shows. However, his home was raided and his computer was discovered with over 50 GB of CP. He was arrested and found guilty. His channel was almost immediately terminated and even reuploads of his videos were purged. TH-cam wants this guy to completely be forgotten, as he should be
This is honestly something I never get about these pedos. When they have CP on their PC or something, it never is like a vid or two, it always is like ten thousands or pictures or double-triple digit gigabytes of CP, it's like they are "eh, I'm a pedo, might as well absolutely hoard the everloving shit out of it" or something
This doesn't apply to all sec offenders and is one of the most commonly thrown around bits of misinformation. The same thing also applies to some murders, but you wouldn't go and say "yeah, that guy has probably done some school shootings we just don't know about"

People with developing dementia DO reach old age and start doing things that they restrained the impulse to do their whole lives. Saying things they would never have said before, touching people inappropriately, doing things they never would have done before. So stop acting like a single incident of misdemeanor sexual imposition by a 70+ year old man is proof he had been touching people his whole life.
@@biancajade728not true. Most elderly have some level of cognitive decline and often do and say things they never would have done before. They lose their ability to restrain impulses.

In fact these are documented symptoms of the cognitive impairment of old age.

yes but the issue here is: does putting him through all that decades later, after he hadn't reoffended all that time, change anything at all for the victim?
I agree but here’s one problem with that. He did it decades before he started TH-cam. He shouldn’t be punished for something he did decades ago and he did his time
@@Africa893 As someone who was assaulted as a teen, I have to agree. It is commendable when people prone to these vile compulsions learn to control it. It's not an overnight thing, like "I offended but I'm better now, teehee!" I've never had the urge myself, but I have had my vices I had to wrestle away from, and it takes a lot of mental work to reign yourself in. Ironically, I would put a lot of the physiological dependence I had on alcohol as a coping mechanism for never truly processing my trauma. I suppose my point is that while I don't necessarily think all offenders can be rehabilitated, those that can should face their punishment and be allowed to try and rebuild themselves into a better being, and that a lot of people have something dark preying on their minds (some things worse than others, obviously) that they have to beat down. If we won't allow them that, we might as well just chuck them feet first into a woodchipper (which is what I would recommend for those who can't be rehabilitated. Yay saving tax dollars!).
Yeah, it says he didn't take is probation seriously, thus taking the freedom he was given for granted. Really makes him seem like he has no remorse for his actions of sexually assaulting an underaged boy.
I mean, probation is part of the consequence of committing a crime, if you, say, get a DUI, and the judge gives you probation instead of jail time, that means if you break probation you will likely go to jail, and that will be part of the punishment for the DUI, does that make sense? Usually breaking probation does lead to a harsher sentence cuz the probation was offered instead of a heavier sentence, but if you break the probation then now you have to serve the heavier sentence. Hope this made some sense
@@zad_rasera People aren't gonna complain that the man is uploading videos on youtube when he is prohobited by the law to. Not like its some hurtful crime.
Probation is worse than just doing more time "then & there". It's a trap, for sexual predators it's fine because it actually makes sense and works, but for all other criminals it's just a way to get them sent down for something stupid. Uploading youtube vids is not the weakest offense people violate probation with, a great example everyone should be aware of is being near convicted felons.. That's right, if you're just NEAR a convicted felon, that can be enough to violate probation.. It's crazy.

@eschelar. Dude, nothing, and I mean nothing justifies what he did. Also, the “Age is just a number” line is said by many who support pedophelia, you can mean it differently, but it still has its meaning. Also, no middle age person in the right mind says age is just a number tons of times, or like you said they do, its pretty dumb to do, it like if I said “N*g*er is just a color”, I could mean it in some strange misconstrued way, but it still has its negative connotation.
@@eschelar If they specifically apply "age is just a number" to things like that in terms of jobs, skills, progress, etc, that's ok. But if no context is given before saying it, most people are going to assume the person means it sexually because of how many people use it for that nowadays. Which ended up proving to be true in his case, so the concern when hearing that out of context is pretty understandable. I don't really need to know that the person got in trouble for something to feel comfortable when I hear that phrase. Unless I *know* it's in a different context. The context you're applying here is a different situation that wasn't clarified in his case.
@@eschelar the context of where you're hearing it is presumably meant to convey the idea that age won't hold them back. They're referring to THEIR ages. If you hear people saying that and they aren't clearly talking about it with regard to their physical ability, check to see if they pop up on the list. Seriously.

Ok im from Ohio. The only place you will find weather the victim is a minor is in the registry. Another sure sign that it was a minor because they refrain from mentioning they are a minor or even stating and age. They only hide that in documents when a minor is involved. So the victim was a child.
Having worked in a job where I had to do training for spotting "predatory" behavior the rule is sadly everyone is a suspect. It is really sad when people abuse their position to prey on people. Especially when it is the elderly as we naturally respect and look up to them.
@@blvvdy.kisses No he's not, not sure where you got that impression. By saying we, he is referring to most people which is in fact true - as most people in society do respect their elders (I do, for example, unless I'm given a reason not to)
The second story is definitely something. Unfortunately, we can't be 100% certain that the guy never had more than one offense, and we can't be certain that he never offended again. We also can't be certain about what his true motives for trying to dodge the registry were. If we take his story at face value, then it does sound like the tale of a guy who made a mistake in his life, he overcame those urges and moved past that mistake, and then was forced to constantly keep moving away from various locations due to harassment until he eventually got thrown in prison where he died. But there could always be more to the story that we can't see.
I live in Ohio and the reason why you can’t find a whole lot of information on his case is because to protect the identity of victims of sexual assault, DV, and similar cases, they won’t release details of the crime. When you try looking up their cases, you won’t see any court documents showing up like in any other cases. This is something new they started over the past 2-3 years after in 2 separate cases a perpetrator tracked down their victims using court records of all things to kill them.
The fact Don had a picture of seth green (who voices Chris Griffin) just adds to him reminding me of Herbert the pervert. Especially the voice and the hair cut
"Age is just a number" is one of those phrases that sounds good on paper until you realize what terrible things would also count under it. I also tilted my head after hearing the word "blunder" just because of how it's very blatantly untrue. You dont spend your life being an awful person and then suddenly become sweet and kind on your 60th birthday. If anything you learn how to hide your awful traits better. Old people also know they can get a pass or benefit of the doubt and unearned respect due to their age. Some of the most vindictive and manipulative people I've met are seniors.

I wanna argue actually that this isn't always the case. I've done some research on like, the human psyche and stuff. People can just change, for the better or worse. There are studies of people who do monstrous things later in life and literally have no sign or anything of having hurt others throughout their lives. And then there are some who were just always like that. Human beings can be incredibly strange.
My dad that once said he could kill the abuser if I would have been abused as a kid. But wheb he worked in an halfway house he became friend with a reformed past abuser. For those who are reformed, the eternal guilt is an eternal punishment by itself. Sadly, there's almost no way to really tell if someone is reformed and despite knowing at least one, I still internally have trouble to accept that they exist and wish all child abuser rot in prison and don't feel guilty about it.
Your dad seems like a good person. But I personally think once a child abuser, always a child abuser. They are unforgivable. Could I kill one? No. But I wouldn't say no to watching one die a slow and painful death and not feel happy.
@@samuellennon1984 well, there's many more details like the fact that he wasn't a serial child molester and after going to prison did everything he could to get help to fix his problems because he understood the impact of what he did. Not online related, but for a long time I went to a daycare as a kid that had a man working there who was a neighbor of mine. Then years later after I had just graduated high school I go to get the mail and notice my old neighbor's face in the form of a mugshot on the front page of the local paper. It turns out he never quit working at that daycare center, and he had been caught assaulting a 3 year old girl, a crime that he later plead guilty to. He was also an older man. It really came as a shock to me because I had known him for years and never noticed anything questionable, and that really made me wonder how long he had been doing that. Sometimes you think you know people, when really you don't.
Quite a sensitive handling of the Ed Muscare example. I didn't know about his television personality past which puts his YT success in much better context - this is missed by virtually everyone who talks about him after the fact. His crime was heinous, people needed to know he lived among them. But the story does raise some uncomfortable truths about how society handles child sex offenders - they can't ever be rehabilitated in real and genuine terms, because we can't or won't let them be. And I'm not sure there will ever be a way to reconcile that.
There are places in the word where they have preventative rehabilitation, which aims to stop people like this from ever actually offending. I think that it's a lot easier for someone with these disturbed feelings to offend if they think there is no help for them anyway. Rehabilitation after the crime will always be difficult, I think. There's no way society will ever not be disgusted with them. I do wonder if putting their address into the public is just asking for trouble? Is this just an American thing?
There's been studies done saying that people who are sex offenders and especially those who abuse children are actually born with a brain disorder that compels them to do so. Meaning they can't be fixed. I'm not standing up for them whatsoever but I am stating a fact. Also there are a few organizations out there about keeping up community of pedos together. They also have a community of pedos who are not offenders that consider themselves virtuous. In Florida I think St Petersburg there is a whole community of them in a trailer park since there was nowhere else for them to move to they have conglomerated them together in one place. Sorry it's a long-winded post. Having been a survivor of such abuse I really don't consider these people capable of changing or being helped in any manner. Maybe they can put out a trailer park in the Mojave Desert for them to live in

We tend to feel sympathy for the elderly because they are closed to death and many times all the people they love have either gone on with their life or died. But there must be ZERO tolerance for child predators, no matter how "innocent" an old man looks like, because we have first and foremost think about the damage and the scars they have created in young innocent kids. The most disturbing thing is that there are attempts to normalize pedophilia, in schools and culture. We have to stay vigilant.
Yeah the ending of this video kinda floored me. The stakes are too high to be getting all misty about a child abuser who got off very lightly and refused to abide by the terms of his probation. Sheesh.
you are right. one thing though. did you think these 2 old bastards looked even remotely innocent??? both of them had dirty unclean vibes coming off of them. the look and sound alone is enough if you are tuned in. but you are right about this attempt to normalise paedophilia. it has been going on since the 1940s with that disgusting degenerate (and his fucked up colleagues) called alfred kinsey - who set the sex scene for the next 70 years. i remember working in the school system in the early 1990s in the UK and they were talking about sex education for 4 year olds. it got banjaxed pretty quickly because of the bad reaction to the idea. but they put it out there though. stay vigilant is right!
@@stevenschnepp576 Based on the information in this video, no. Being on the sex offender registry probably helped by keeping his neighbors aware that there was a child predator in their midst. Although, the authorities/agencies that should have been monitoring him did lose track of his whereabouts for long periods of time. They even allowed him to leave the state. And then we can't be naive about how sex trafficking works.
"Ed never reoffended"... You don't know that. Many of these sexual creeps get away with it. Some victims don't report it or tell anyone out of fear and trauma from the experience. It's why many kids who are molested don't come forth until later in their life.
You also don't know if he reoffended someone either. I'm not trying to defend him, but don't just throw random accusations on someone without proof. Imagine if that happens to you.
Idk, if according the books he never reoffended, than I'd say unless new information that is corroborated with strong evidence is released (in lieu of court documentation as both men in the video are deceased) than it is not irresponsible to say he never reoffended. I hate sex offenders and am the victim of horrible actions taken against me as a child. The person who harmed me was punished and proven guilty. Yet even I will not tolerate misinformation concerning whether they reoffended or not because at the end of the day these are people. We live once. Some actions will haunt some of us for the rest of our lives. Yet even my assailant deserves some level of acknowledgement should they never reoffend before they die. Unless we know he did, it's best not to speculate. He's dead. He cannot hurt anymore people the way he did while he lived, and should he have truly never reoffended, than there is at least one step towards trying to right a wrong that can never be undone. At least an attempt made to be decent and to atone for irreparably ruining the life of another. Ed died a sad, broken, and disgusting old man in prison because of his actions, his crimes. Unless we can verify that he did in fact reoffend, let the knowledge that he got what he deserved at some level be enough to satisfy you. To be clear, I think he got off too lightly. Sure, I can have empathy for the monsters known as child sex predators, but that does not mean I do not despise them. One such individual robbed me of my ability to ever become intimate without an overwhelming dread. Yet I find it important to make the distinction between how I judge people, as I was falsely accused in high school of misconduct. To be hurt in the court of public opinion for a crime that was never committed and to be ridiculed for asserting ones proven innocence, this broke me for a time. I feel that had Ed been punished more extremely the first time, we would all be better off. But he was let out into the world, and at least as far as is known and currently provable, never offended again. He was punished for a separate crime and in that was granted the justice he deserved. But I will not assume that he "got away with it", I will wait and see if indeed he at least tried to change and atone in his own way.
i dont think the downfall of sexual predators is tragic no matter how old they are. neither of these men deserve sympathy despite their endearing or charming behavior
i don't think their downfall is tragic. i think it's the overall situation, the awful events that led up to the end that's tragic here. though idk how anyone can say conclusively someone _didn't_ reoffend, predation is a pattern of behaviour
It always makes me sad when talking about the elderly because it’s almost hard to associate them with such heinous crimes when looking at them it’s so hard to remember that they once lived through the ‘prime of their life’ and chose to do awful things
I don't know if it's because I'm a survivor of SA, but they always looked scary and threatening to me, allowing them to keep doing content was a gateway for them contacting and loring more potential victims.
I was touched inappropriately by creeps like them and I'm glad that they returned back to prison to spend the rest of their lives. Their demeanour clearly indicates they're up to no good and some scenes I find repulsive and makes me feel nauseous.
especially when there are multiple dogs, they probably weren't adopted together so I can't even imagine living your whole life with your dog "siblings" and your owner and then having your whole world change
there are too many people feeling bad for the man that assaulted a 14 year old and assuming he didn't reoffend even though he dodged the sex offenders registry because "boohoo people don't like sex offenders". not to mention he said nothing about the person he traumatized only" me me me"
This way of thinking is the way of a wild animal. We are civil people in a civil era, think like a civil man and start adding more than the baseline of logic required for survival to your thought process. We can safely say the bloodline you'll pass on wouldn't be the one of the succesful samples for the next generation. Damn shame.
Honestly! I feel zero sympathy for either of the old men. The trauma of SA lives on forever in a survivor. I don’t care if they’ve “reformed”. Their victims trauma will always be there.

A woman who was working in a supervisor position at a retirenment home one once told me: The number one mistake people tend to make is thinking all elderly people were angels.
Yea a good bit of them use their age as an excuse to act bratty and entitled. Being old doesn't give you a b***h pass 🤷♀️
That is a very good point, but you can't assume that all your charges are a certain way.

I know what you mean

Who was recently taken into police custody for sexual assault/misconduct(?? or something like that) and it shocked me because he was like you said always smiling at kids.
I remember one time that stuck with me was our school was doing a practice of a school play (I think)
and afterwards since it was a small Parish the school needed lifts to help move students to the church and back to the school.
And so the priest obviously offered to help out.
And I remember he asked some girls to help him move stuff back to his house and I remember he brought four or five girls back to his house to "help-out" I have reason to believe he raped them but I don't know for sure.
I still wonder if he did or didn't abuse them. at the time I wanted to go too to help out to be useful,
I'm glad now looking back that I never went through that door with them.
I still feel sorry for those girls too.
@@gumshoe1285 Why am I not surprised it was a priest. They are the worst offenders, people trust priests because of the religious aspect and they can easily take advantage of that. NEVER. We need to overhaul our justice system in so many ways.

I thought the same when I saw the title but that's just me.
I never knew Ed's full story. Most people I've seen talk about it just say he was an offender and show the pretty woman video as a creep factor. It's nice to know the full story
the full story is that he molested a child & repeatedly broke the terms of his release and is now bitching and whining about not being able to go on youtube.
I'm currently watching and haven't gotten to Ed yet, but it upsets me how naive most are about him. Yeah he looked creepy and he did sexually offend, his offense being smacking a 16 year old on the butt. Most TH-camrs who cover him never mention how regretful he was about it and I feel like they leave that detail out on purpose just to add to the creep factor. Yes, Ed was in the wrong, but to leave out details like that and have people think he was raping people and shit isn't fair to him.

You dont spend your life being an awful person and then suddenly become sweet and kind on your 60th birthday. If anything you learn how to hide your awful traits better. Old people also know they can get a pass or benefit of the doubt and unearned respect due to their age.

And I'm not sure there will ever be a way to reconcile that.
good
There are places in the word where they have preventative rehabilitation, which aims to stop people like this from ever actually offending.
Pedophiles should be executed. That's the only way to make sure they never hurt another kid.
@@zad_rasera What accusation did I throw at him? Simply pointing out the issue with saying "Ed never reoffended."
