As a Dad that lives in the UK I have to watch the games the following evening so not having the score shown to me before every game is really wonderful actually :)

I am cool with the title change Steve, so many times browsing TH-cam a day after a game I wasn't able to watch that I was able to watch the next day I had to like shield my eyes from even glancing at your videos of that game I missed, no spoils and I I'm down with it. Well done.
I do prefer the score not being in the title anymore. I usually can't watch the game live so i watch highlights after work, but youtube recommends me the latest LFR before i can get to the highlight channel and the title used to spoil the game. I've literally had to cover my screen before to make sure i don't see one of your titles on my home page 😭
Even if the score isn't on the title, i could tell whether the Leafs won or lost just by looking at how Steve appears on the thumbnail: happy/smiling Steve = Leafs won pissed off Steve = Leafs lost
This is why I don't like the new title. It doesn't change the giveaway of the outcome. Wish these people who don't want it spoiled just could not check the notification or something. Sure you don't know if they lost 8-2 or 3-2. But you know.
In my opinion, keep not showing the score. Sometimes, I do not get to watch the game and I like to see the 10 minute YT highlights and sometimes the LFR can show up on my feed and spoil the outcome.
I never thought about the score in the title spoiling it thing and that some people might actually want your recap to be the first time they get info about the game. I didn't like the change at first BUT that is actually a valid point. I'd say the big downside is just that sometimes if you wanna go back to an LFR from a year or 2 prior or even earlier in the same season sometimes if you remember the score that's the easiest way to find that specific video if you don't remember the exact date or the episode title itself. So there are pros and cons to including or not including the score. Whatever you guys choose to move forward with though we will anxiously wait to watch diligently as always after every game and enjoy the videos just as much as always😁
I come home late to watch highlights and then jump right to LFR. But if the score is on the LFR title it definitely spoils the highlights, since your videos always pop to the top of my feed. Please leave the score out like you have been doing. Thanks, you and the Leafs are doing great this season.
Timmins wasn’t skating. If he was moving his feet his options would have increased. Mcmann was heading in the right direction. Timmins caught standing still.

love the spoiler free titles! if miss the game or fall asleep during the 3rd period i wake up and watch the recap to get the ending experience and i used to have to close my left eye to block out the part of the screen i knew Steve would pop up on to not have the score spoiled. so please keep it as it is.
The Flyers played really well against one of the best teams in the East on back to back nights and only got 1 out of 4 points. Literal perfect outcome for a fan of a rebuilding club
Only change I'd make steve is putting the game number back at the start of the title, something like "LFR18 - Game 42 - Flyers vs Maple Leafs Recap - Wolladelphia" as it makes scrolling through videos much easier to track continuity! Cheers

That was your boy Morgan Rielly who was paired up with Timmins on the 2nd goal against (not Simon Benoit) and he was absolutely responsible for blowing the zone and leaving McMann to play D there.
As a Brit, I catch up with highlights the next morning, then I watch the game that evening. Every morning, I put youtube on looking through my fingers because the LFR is always the first thing to come up(of course 😉😂), and I want to watch the highlights without knowing the score. Like the old title. Sometimes we go back to watch an older video because we remember some tidbit you mentioned,and it is easier to find that game because the score is usually something that sticks in ppl’s minds

I'd like it if the score was added later, either a few days later or at the end of the season. But I know that's a lot of work, so either way.

Connor Timmins has not played in alot of games and it showed last night. Timmins played good at the start of the season and I never knew why he was taken out of the lineup, he was part of the team.

Most hockey fans (like me) have game notifications sent to their phone, so I honestly don’t care if the score is in the title because I already know it, even if I’m not watching. Although I’m an Ontario-based Leaf fan, I have other commitments some evenings that prevent me from seeing many of the games. I watch LFR regardless of whether I see the game or not - win or lose - because it’s always entertaining watching Steve do his thing!

On Philly's second goal, Timmons has the puck in the corner. The nearest Flyer is in another postal code (sorry, zip code). Timmons waits 'till the Flyer is on top of him, which felt like about half an hour, and then gives it away. When will McCabe and Hakenpaa be back?

I am fine with the change. I’m a highschool student in the east so I’m always up past 12 so I always see the result of the game before the LFR. Only reason I wouldn’t like it is because, I would forget the score and not know when the scoring stops.

I work evenings so I have to actively avoid looking at the LFR thumbnail (which at this point is always at the top of my TH-cam videos because it knows I’m gunna watch it!) while I’m looking for the Highlights video first! The Highlights videos by NHL and Sportsnet also avoid spoilers in the title 😉
I'm not even a Leafs fan but I'm a Knies fan. You know who he reminds me of Steve-o? John Leclair. Just his presence, how he moves and gets into everything. He seems to do a lot of "John" stuff really really well. I like watching him play. Always a threat, most shifts.

I would say leave it for a bit more and see if you get better numbers after a significant sample size.
I like trying new things to see what works. Personally I'd swap the teams and punny title, because it's the Dangle personality gets losses a bit having it buried (particularly on mobile)

The most I get spoiled is by the thumbnail, honestly. Since I am in Europe I rarely have a chance to watch the NHL live. Therefore, my algorithm is: Get breakfast ready. Load my feed. Did the screaming Canadian upload a video? If yes, load the Toronto highlights. If not load a different game from the night. Honestly, I did not notice the change in the naming scheme as I rarely look at that first. But I do understand and can appreciate people not wanting to be spoiled. 🧡💛🧡
Maybe update the titles with the score 24 hours later. That way people who missed the game and people will be able to go back and see the scores in the future during the inevitable binge watch during the summer months. Also, I've made a playlist of wins only LFRs and it makes it easy to keep track of wins when the score is in the title LOL!
I watch following the game so it’s good either way, I already know the score. But I really watch for your take on the game which is always satisfying. Like this one and your comments about Dewar, Tavares, Marner, McMann, Timmins. You’re right on, but not over the top. Your comments reflect your humility, which is often lacking in the media.
