- Raja Ampat, Indonesia is known for its beautiful islands, world class scuba diving sights, friendly people, and it’s delicious food! Join us today, as we take part in cooking a traditional meal. In this episode, you can join us in the kitchen with Mama Nofi, as she walks us through the process of cooking a delicious Indonesian meal from preparation to presentation. We have been eating nonstop since we arrived in Raja Ampat and it was finally time that we got a sneak peek into where all this magic is happening: the kitchen. Today’s menu: Snapper, eggplant, corn fritters, rice, fresh fruit, and fresh dragon fruit juice! Everyone gets to do their share of cooking in this episode, even Granite and Cedar! Get this, this huge Snapper came from the Saporken Village we visited earlier in the week. This is a meal you don’t want to miss!

That’s so true. Cooking classes give them the chance to connect to people, food, and culture like no other way. It was great to watch Mamma Nofi work with us even though we don’t speak Bahasa Indonesian. :-)
