I'd like to point out that when installing this cooler, your motherboard may have 2 ports, "CPU Fan" and "CPU Opt". CPU Opt is where you can connect the second fan to instead of daisy chaining the 2 fans into one port. This is completely optional, however, it's something worth noting depending on what you're using the computer for.

Great guide for AM4 users! I’m using a Phantom Spirit, and it was similar enough I could follow your video. You answer so many questions the instructions didn’t address, like what direction the fans were blowing. This fan is a beast and was a needed upgrade for me after switching to a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D. I went from 90°C in OCCT on my Cooler Master T2 to 64°C with this Phantom Spirit. Using an Asrock B450 Pro4.

Thanks very much, I'll use a MSI MAG Z790 Tomahawk motherboard which is similar, I was worrying regarding the sizes of the cooler if they were restrained by either the memory RAM sticks or the motherboard's extended heatsinks.

Upgrading my prebuilt so im kinda nervous but this eases my mind a bit.
I'd like to not have to take the motherboard out completely but i guess i have to to put the bracket on the back.
Which likely means unplugging my gpu and removing it before pulling the motherboard off.
It's gonna be a little more intensive than i was hoping but hopefully it goes smoothly as i cannot afford to replace a gpu or any other parts.

Many cases have a cutout so you don't need to remove the motherboard. Hope you get it sorted. All the best!

one problem when I installed the PA 120 SE. The RAMs are too high and I had to install the fans on the left side.

Great video! Literally Sunday building my first pc and I ordered the same cooler, only for me it’s will be with intel. Just a question.. isn’t it bad if your cooler is over the ram?

The cooler doesn't interfere with the RAM, does it? I'm going to buy that same motherboard and cooler, but I couldn't see clearly if the RAM fits well.

Without the fans you can access the ram, loads of clearance. About to put the fans on. I'm here to see the direction as they have no arrows.

I had to slightly raise the fan to get it to fit with two Ram sticks. It would be extra tight with four sticks of ram

hi do you know if it works well with am5? heared that noctua sells/gives out special brackets that lowers heatsink so it touches more of the CCD's. is it not a problem with this cooler?
