      @@jesseoconnell4369 yes they are really nice bit of kit I would love one too but they were too expensive , do you follow squeaky clean Dave on TH-cam? If not check him out , he has tutorials on how to build your own that's how I did mine cost me £50 pound and its well worth it!

      Nice one, that’s great. One of the great things about this is it’s mostly plastic which reduces risk of corrosion, and belt driven, so that also won’t rust. But yeah, cheaper to build your own.😃👍🏼

    Another great idea well done Ashley quick question how many liters is that tank on your Van noise when is nearly empty other thing to telling you about that White pads the problem is when your put a lot pressure the pad couldn't hold that amount of water and the end damage and you get two i have been trying in the past what went wrong a lot of water to heavy for this ...!!!

      No, I just left it exactly how it was, literally just swapped the wires over.😃👍🏼

    Hi Ashley when you use the pole for all your window cleaning do you have any problem with pains in your neck and shoulders?

      Not too much. I’ve only been doing WFP for a relatively short time after switching over from being mostly trad. I like to mix things up with different services too, partly so I’m using different muscles.💪🏼😃👍🏼

    Do yourself a huge favour and get a roller guide fitted to rear bumper. I use a hose lock guide on my 3D reel. Makes life so much easier on reeling in and out.

      Or even better cut a hole in the floor of van and install a roller guide inside and out, allowing you to shut and lock your van doors whilst working 👍🏻

    I have one of these reels no problems with mine. I wish the motor was a tad faster. But its a good bit of kit. Were do you get them black things that protects your fittings?

    I would not be without my power reel.
    What I normally do if I change the hose is find myself a car park with loads of space to fit new.
    A motor will work on reverse polarity to alter the way it reels !

    Hi Ashely, did you have to disconnect the main van battery to connect up to the rear battery? Or just connected straight in?

      It was all done by Varitech Systems when it was all fitted. The is a split charge relay that connects to the vans alternator to charge the batteries without draining the van battery.😃👍🏼

      @@aemackintosh Just a quick thought. By reversing the polarity you are switching and fusing the 0V. So if the 0v wire gets shorted to chassis the reel will run and wont have a fuse!!!!! Add a fuse in the other wire connected to the battery at minimum. That way you are protected by a fuse no matter what. Without a fuse in the wire connected to 12v on battery you are risking a fire in the even of a problem!!!

      You can buy remotes on amazon there about £20 i have one on my diy reel. I dont carry the fob with me incase I accidentally push the button.

    Where do you get the bumper that you fit to protect the EZ Snap fitting?
    I got a twin stack stainless reel master from purefreedom last week. My shoulder feels so much better

      Because it’s my left hand door that opens first and the position of the water inlet on the reel.😃👍🏼

      They are set up to be charged by the vans alternator, but I’ve also got a charging unit that plugs into the mains to give them a boost every so often.😃👍🏼

    Looks smart, but personally would have gone for the Pure Freedom electric reel, better quality. Saying which you could have turned both your existing reels electric for £100. I DIYed my pure freedom manual reel a couple of years ago, never let me down once.

    Ash.. Help needed.. I just received my gardiner back pack.. Straight out the box.. It has a orange lead with a metal female coupling on the end.. I put water in.. To try it.. But nothing coming out would the female coupling have to be attached to the male couple for the water to flow out... I haven't got one of those yet... Also the motor just stopped...gardiner aren't answering the phone blaming covid...?

      Yes, the female connector will not let any water out unless connected. The pump should stop as it has detected a dead end.

      Jordan at Waterworks window cleaning (the company who makes them) has now switched back to the old style yellow switches as he has been having lots of returns on the red push button. I actually prefer the yellow box switch as its easy to hang up and easier to press in. I have had mine now for about a month. If you specify before you buy they will supply the hose fitting to either the left or right. I bought 2 and they mirrored them so both water fittings were facing towards the outsides of the van. Love the power up 3ds.
