Such a clean install. Loving the shurflo pump covers which keep them clean and dry. That false floor looks incredible. Put some silica gel sachets in the battery compartment to keep it dry from moisture. Great new addition Ashley

Quite a nice system. The ONLY thing I would of changed is I would of went with a powered reel. Once you have one of those you'll never go back trust me. Also I have a clear tank so I can see how full the tank is which I think is handy at times when you don't quite want a full tank. But a very nice system there I love how the tank is flat and you're still able to put things on top of it very nice feature.
deltafit There is a gauge at the side so you can see how full it is. They are working on a powered reel mod.😃👍🏼

If you get chance I would definitely go with hot water and powered reels.
Will you manage to get your gutters vac in without tipping it over. If you do have to lay it on its side I would get a tray for it to sit in to catch the drips. 👍

Nice! Love Those leds in the ceiling. I’m driving a VW transporter like yours too with a 700ltr setup. What kind of material is used for the sidewalls and how did they fit it? Looks tidy! Ps: Really recommend fitting extra helper back springs.
Edwin Noort It’s just like a corrugated plastic material that is screwed down. Seems quite durable. I was thinking of doing something about the suspension.😃👍🏼
Please dont put a pressure washer on the top of the tank , if you can buy a towbar and trailer and keep the inside of the van clean and tidy 😁 By the way it looks awesome 👏👏👌

I would always be on standby by when filling, there's been quiet a few solenoid valve failures from over night filling and flooded out vans, too much water pressure, RHG have stopped using this set up for filling as well , nice van set up though enjoy and speed up your work, maintenance is performance and performance is maintenance on your filters.. 😀👍💰💰
FlashTechEngineering Thanks. I have really hard water where I live so I’m trying to be careful about flushing my RO filter etc. I have to say that I’m not keen on letting it fill overnight. I usually put it on as soon as I get back and turn it off when I go to bed.😃👍🏼
I use a ionic 40 inch softener , you connect inline before your carbon and sediment filters, my TDS fluctuation between 190- 310 , I back flush the softner every 1000 litres of pure water, you use about 1 cup of salt in a backwash canister, this will preserves all your filters, check out ionic videos on water softener, my stainless steel Quattro I've produced 160,000 litres of pure water and only replaced my carbon and sediment filters 2 months ago , and lasted 3 years , my RO membrane is still running at over 98.5 percent efficiency, it's producing 3 TDS before the DI filter..water pressure through booster pump is 180 psi which is better for producing pure water..

This is a top secret, add a nuclear grade filter on your tank, produce your water in a full tank, then have a closed loop recirculating pump through the nuclear grade filter , through your digital controller and pump at a flow rate of about 300mls per minute, this low flow rate give more contact with the nuclear grade resin , this is how ionic zero does it this is how the get zero parts per billion, I do it this way.. I have a storage tank that I fill and run it 24/7 then fill my ionic cold water delivery 400 litre tank in my van from it, amazing results .. of course I'm using ionic hot box aswell 👍👍👍 ps run a ultra violet lamp filter as well, kills off bacteria

Hi Ashley, how's the transporter going, is it lwb or swb looking at upgrading my swb caddy, hard to find second hand with the barn doors, what size is the engine and the model and year..very nice set up and great colour choice your logos stand out nicely..👍👍
FlashTechEngineering Someone I know helped me get it at auction, so it was a good price but a little bashed around to be honest. It serves a purpose though and it’s working out great! I must do more videos about it soon.😃👍🏼

Yeah, the difference in size takes some getting used to. I was keen to get a swb to keep things as compact as I can for getting around the country lanes and domestic driveways etc. I’m really pleased with how the setup turned out.😃👍🏼

How do you stop your water freezing during the winter? Do you have to add some kind of additive to the pure water
scw 74 I understand that you could end up with a residue in your tank if you use an additive. In winter I just put an oil filled electric radiator in the van overnight so the water doesn’t freeze.😃👍🏼
Well done Ashley Im really surprise you have WFP so late...You will notice the change. Anyway I dont like the system setup. I prefer vertical tank so still have space for jet wash, vacuum and other things.... I can keep the doors close while using system...safe. buttttt.....VW is wooowww!!!!

I missed you have connectors outside as well for the water. This is good! I working on my own and have a platform to put jetwash into the van- too heavy to lift. Yours system looks so new ha ha so fresh.... many people don't know that system so I use my van as a show room to explain what is wfp system- have to keep all tidy and clean inside :-) really recommend do that. It is any reason you choose VW? Vivaro have good deals....Citroen is nice inside. Vw is the best but only that price ha ha ha....have a good weekend Ashley!!
I love VW, and I’m going for a certain image to reflect on my business. It is slightly smaller than some other vans out there but the system fits in just the same, so ultimately there is just less wasted space inside.😃👍🏼

Yeah, I’m not sure about growing my business in that way. It’s bad enough trying to keep one other person motivated and filling in for them when they don’t show etc etc. This way, I’m thinking of going back to doing more on my own for a bit.😃👍🏼

They came with my Streamline system but I don’t think they seem to sell them separately. Which is a bit annoying.

Depends on what work I’m doing, but two people can easily use that up in a day.

Ben The reels are from Varitech along with the rest of the system. They are good solid manual reels. I’ve been really pleased with them, they are so smooth to reel up. I think they have just started doing an electric version of them.😃👍🏼

Yeah. I don’t just have the weight of the water, but also sometimes load up with other kit as well like pressure washing stuff. So the van is much better equipped now and it handles much better through the country lanes when heavily loaded as well.😃👍🏼
