Hey everyone. This video is a part of my project of porting Overwatch stuff to Unreal Engine 5. It's very cool to test new things and, in my opinion, it also looks cool. I hope you'll enjoy the video :)
That's beautiful, they should change all the maps like that and make it official, it'd look soo good
This looks beutiful and would be great for PVP but I think the realistic sun glare/rays would be distracting in a 5v5 match.
I agree those are not very practical for a multiplayer game and may distract players, but i just really wanted to show the UE 5 volumetric lighting on this map. I think it looks very cool :D

Blizzard should definitely use Unreal Engine 5 in a future season as an update although I play on switch so idk how that’s gonna work 😅

Carefully placing all Overwatch assets in Unreal Engine 5 and then making materials, leaves animations, volumetric fog, tweaking lighting. I’ve been primarily using Blender, Photoshop and, of course, Unreal Engine 5 for this. All hand made) The hardest part is to get Overwatch assets from the game since game files are very well protected
