    Wow , a beautiful tractor. One of my favorite Ford series. Enjoy your new work horse. I like the way the side panel slides to the front of the tractor. I have a 1990 Massey Ferguson 3070 31yrs old. That's in very good condition. Still feels like a new tractor while using it with ice cold A/C. Love old tractors all different brands and models. Love those big Blues. The guy that shoes my sons horses he has a Ford 7610 .

    Congratulations on the tractor Jacob. I have an 8210 4x4, with the round top cab. I just rebuild the dual power and replaced all the clutches in the transmission (main clutch, PTO clutch, dual power clutches). There's a wire on the right side of the tractor that goes in an opening right behind the front cab mount. Check that for power. It works the valve that changes the dual power. I can't remember if it powers into direct or powers into under drive, but you should get power when you push the switch. I got a really good reprint shop book off eBay for $86. It's three big binders full of very valuable info. Good luck, and I enjoy your videos...

    Hello Boehm farm
    I’m commenting you from Ford land or Europe and around here 17,000 dollars for such a tractor is a steal of a deal because around here those kind of tractors go for 20,000 euros or more. The round roof is because it’s a mark 1 tractor and mark 2 and 3 tractors have the flat roof with extra lights the only difference is that they switched the gears around we also drive Ford but we use a 7810 mark 2 it’s a solid tractor and it’s bin around our farm for around 25 years and beside some hoses blowing we didn’t have much breakdowns and 1 tip these tractors are build to last around 10,000 hours then if you hit that mark you have to start changing pumps and stuff
    Hope I could help you and greetings from Europe

    In this recent video I see that you have finally acquired a new/used tractor, thankfully, other than an International. I know you are a big International fan but those are the most difficult to farm with. I run Case IH and John Deere but I can't do the old Internationals 86 and 66. I am a Boehm Farm fan.

  • @joshk.6246
    @joshk.6246 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That is a sweet rig.
    Never drove a TW or bigger Ford, just utility Fords, been all CaseIH/Whites/Olivers/Internationals, but I think I'm in love with that tractor. If that's a first year of production I would imagine the improvements that were made over the years just added quality to them. Too bad Ford got out of the tractor business.

    I think you made a good purchase. It is a lot of tractor for the money, and a good fit for your operation. I spent some time on a TW-10 and it was a good work horse as long as you didn't need to change gears very often. My recommendation for your next move might be a Ford 7710 to handle the mid-size work like baling and running the corn picker, pulling wagons...

    Hey I think your 2+2 will pull much better than this as it is really working it in that hard ground. When you get the 2+2 fixed it would pay you to plow the harder ground with it to keep from damaging this one even with 500lb weights. I'm probably wrong about that but to have the heat and aircon would make this tractor a good buy and hope for your sake the rear tires last 20 years.
