Fun fact: the beast is immune to chaos card. I learned that the hard way.
Next time try reading the wiki page for Chaos Card, it's really helpful to know that The Beast and Delirium can't be one-shoted... Or at least it would have been good knowing it before I fucked up with both of them and got destroyed.
you can insta-kill the beast and all of the horsemen with plan c though! beast's death animation is shorter than yours and all of the bosses are technically in one room, so you can use it even before famine shows up for a free win!
There's a really important tip for the Dogma Brimstone you need to include in your vid: The starting direction of the brimstone is always horizontal or vertical. That means you can get insta hit if you are standing on cardinal directions. Stay on diagonals as much as possible!

Important note for new people, the door where you insert the polaroid does NOT appear unless you have beaten the Mother fight.
Or if the faded Polaroid is unlocked.
@@jkmenttonet1478 no the door will only spawn after you have first beaten Mother. When you complete the run by hopping into the chest after the mother fight fir the first time, a note appears on screen saying: "a strange door has appeared in the Depths". This is the ONLY way it is unlocked.

@@jkmenttonet1478 no worries bro! You can indeed open the door without beating mom and taking the polaroid/negative if you have the faded polaroid trinket, though the trinket will then be destroyed upon opening the strange door

With war, when he chucks out his giant bombs you can pick them up if you have safety scissors, and it's free mega damage!
The best item is literally gnawed leaf bcus of the fact that the mother transformation is very common and you can use the butt knife to position yourself right and kill every part of the boss
and orbitals are also very common.

Great video! First time reaching Dogma & Beast today. I made it through Dogma and the horsemen okay but the fire attack and mega brimstone just wiped me out since I was a very close range character and did not expect it!
For those who are checking this out, note: Ultra pestilence also has a vomit attack where he shoots a bunch of tears in phase 1, it’s pretty rare. (It might’ve been added in a patch, I personally use ps4 and have encountered it a bunch of times.)

wanna share my first The Beast fight here, i was running azazel and didnt manage to upgrade the range of my brimstone, and first time fighting them i wasn't sure how close i have to be to damage them. what pulled me through was Lil friggin Plum, constantly being up in their face doing damage.

This guide was really helpful, just beat the beast for the first time and only got hit 3 times during the fight! (Granted I had insane damage so it wasn't that long of a fight)
Beast now has a new attack pattern, where it shoots fires OUT and tears with that too
I didn't expect that and lost a great run right at the end
Because of this video and the mother video I was able to one try both of these bosses
you need speed for dogma too, if you dont have speed then it makes it very difficult and sometimes impossible to dodge the spinning attack
I like your vids. I saw the how to unlock the tainted characters. Just 2 minutes. I’ve seen longer tutorials that still didn’t say everything.

While I do usually losd a save state on PS4 and do trial and error this is better than trying a million times until I figure it out.
dogma is a thorn in my side with his spinning wheel of death attack. I will try your method of going in circles around the room.
8:01 actually what you want to do for death's scythes is position yourself as far as you cant to the wall (i usually just do the left wall) and his scythes will never be able to hit you
I beat the 2nd phase of Dogma not even knowing there was a whole other multiphase boss after that. I was so surprised i won.

One thing you missed to take note of, when Beast is going from the mega brim to chasing again he might may move across the screen at which point you need to go to the top of the screen to dodge this. I died to beast because of this. as obvious as that sounds, i just didn't think about how beast would get to the other side.
btw if ur playing as a tainted character or if u have already unlocked the tainted version of ur character the red key closet in the home floor will contain inner child if u unlocked it
I always struggle at the first phase of dogma, because of the static brimstone. That ends my runs always. i have unlocked 6 tainted characters so far and only gotten past dogma once
tboi has alot of giant mega blast attacks that are basically impossible to dodge if you dont already know its coming. when i first fought mother and the beast, i got hit a lot by those mega blasts cause there was just no warning that they were gonna come
Dogma is so good, it's learnable and challenging. I hate the 4 harbringers and the beast though

Happi doesn't work for the Beast, or I'm missing something. When he was beaten on the Tainted Isaac, flies did not spawn when the Beast himself attacked, everything worked on the riders. Help me figure it out, maybe it's because I laid out the guppy's tail before going to the boss.

Help, when Beast did the fire sucking attack to me, it kept me in permanent contact with her, no matter how hard I pressed the left button, my character wasn't moving. Lost 12 hearts in 6 seconds and went from fulll health to losing the run.

Nine lives is AMAZING for this fight. You can use all the lives within the fight without leaving it
Just got to beast but Dr. Fetus made it pretty much impossible to win since the bombs just dropped into the lava

I need to complete the check mark for Tainted Azazel, all I need is The Beast and The Witness (a.k.a Mother) Mark but Mother I can cheap the fight, I cannot get a good run for The Beast, I never get good items, or enough health for it, but mainly not enough damage, I just am always too weak for it.

Should have watched this video before dying to that ghost attack on the beast. I’d never seen a TH-camr have to dodge the ghosts before because they kill the beast so fast

I had a great, powerful run that got to The Beast and completely flopped because I had Skipping Stone tears and with there being no ground, the tears just drop into the lava.
Also just lost an amazing amazing The Lost run where i decimated everything in my path, then died at The Beast because my Night Light made his ring of fire impassible
I always crash in cutscenes and i can't fight beast :/

If you want to beat the Beast, don't take items like censer (it creates an aura around you which slows down enemies and particles)... yeah... the ring of fire is quite impossible to dodge.

Nice tutorial but the beast isn’t a he. You can see at the bottom of the beast’s sprite that she is wearing mum’s dress, implying that the beast is mum.

I found onther attack patern after chase beast brust a fire and then a lot tears in 7 sides is rare attack too
