Working in blender for the first time to create an avatar. I was struggling so much with adding/editing textures and this cleared everything up for me! Thank uuuuu🫶🏻
If you’re still answering question, I’m just wondering what your lighting looks like in blender for when you bake your items cause I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the lighting right
hello! I have a cs6 photoshop but when I try to save it to dds, it's not showing the ds3. I do have the nvidia tool installed, but its the latest version so it does not show the 8.5 version, help please... :(
hey! i have a question, can you make a video teaching how to put these ccs for download? i cant find any tutorial, i wanna share my ccs on tumblr but i dont know how! pls help me (and english is not my first language so sorry for any mistakes)
Love this so much! Do you know how to make anything resemble spandex in MD? I made leggings (that are supposed to be skin tight) but they looked super thick.
Hi! In MD, you can adjust the thickness settings by editing the 'Add'I Thickness - Rendering' setting in the Simulation Properties of the Property Editor: i.ibb.co/1R5h2z7/thickness.jpg Although for leggins, I suggest painting the texture on the legs of the sim instead of using a mesh as some accessories don't move with the body sliders although I can't remember if leggings was one of them.
Hello, Thank you for your tutorial ! I have an issue when I bake... Shadows are all over the clothes i's hard to explain but there's more black than white...
Do you know why when i try to bake the texture, the quality is so low, the image is very pixeled, seems like it doesn't bake it completely. I did it with blender 2.79 and even tried with 2.7 and same issue. everything looks fine while creating it, just the baking doesn't work. Could it be something wrong with the mesh? Even tho Sims4Studio shows it, it just needs a texture
Hello again 😄. Please where would you recommend this stage in the CC making process ? Before data transferring and weights or after ? Also 01:10 I’m a bit unclear about “append garmet file “
You can import your mesh at any stage as long as you have your UVs arranged and there are no back-faces. Also, appending is how you import files from other Blend files. Hope this helps!
I need help, I'm making more complicated clothing. Specifically embroidered clothing with embroidered flowers , I did it in MD but when I transfer the obj to blender it shows up pretty well, but for some reason blender is using the map as the texture, so I can't move the mesh w/o messing up the textures. Since it has several flowers embroidered of different types, size, and positions I am using over 17 pictures as texture that I carefully place to fit the cutout fabric with the flower w/o showing the edges of the fabric the flowers are embroidered to. So my question is is their a way I can salvage the completed mesh i created so I can transfer it to TS4 or will I have to start from scratch, and if so how do I do it? How do I embroider? I need help!!!😭😭😭😭
You should only create textures for your mesh after you've arranged your UVs on the Sims' texture map. You can take the texture you made into photoshop or GIMP and find a way to fit it back into place with your uvs.
@@MISSME12 So the textures I made in MD doesn't work? Also how do I make textures based on a picture? Cuz in the texture video you only showed how to make textures that are one colour
@@rafaelfigueoa2457 Again, you can find a way to adjust the textures you made in MD to your uv maps in Photoshop or Gimp. It's just a bit tedious is all. I also do not understand what you mean by a texture being based on a picture. If you mean like texture shirts (i.e. cotton, wool) that would require both the texture and a normal map. I would have to make another tutorial on it since it's far too much to cover in a single comment.
@@MISSME12 I mean the dress I'm making has embroidered fabric, of which I cut out a picture of flowers whuch i used as the texture appearing on MD cut out flowers......is their an email I can contact you in? I can send you the MD mesh so you see what I mean
I just recently started to make garments in Marvelous Designer which I want to import into GtaV and stumbled accross your awesome video. I did download the older Blender Version since I got the brand new one and realised that it already looks absolutely different, what am I doing wrong? :D
@@laurag9200 If you made your mesh following her other tutorials then you just need to do your texturing with a version of the mesh you made before you made it double sided. So append the shirt(Object) from phase one or two.
Hi! I have a question. Let's say I wanted to modify/change a sweater from University Life. Would the people downloading my sweater need the pack? I don't know if that's a stupid question but I thought I would ask. Thank you!
Hello, it's me again. sorry to bother you, I really appreciate your tutorial but this is the second time I have followed it to the T and somehow when I import it to sims 4 studio it appears transparent. Please please I am desperate and would appreciate it any advice. thank you

I needed this blender cycles tutorial. Thanks.
this is the tutorial I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR for three days!!! OMG! I finally found it!
thank uu for the tutorials urs are the most useful ive watched by far
Thanks for the tutorial. You say we can use 2.79 but you use things that I can't find in that version, so it's hard to follow for a beginner.

Check the settings before baking, try to match all the settings she used.

is 2.8 better for creating textures?
It's up to your preference.

I think they would have to have UL. Although I know that there are tutorials on the S4S forums that tell you how to remove that requirement.
Hi! What version of blender is this? Im on 2.79 and can’t seem to find that shading tab ☹️
Possibly 2.8 or newer

Hey there, When you upload meshes to sims4studio they're transparent until you import the texture to it.
The bake button is gone😔😔😔
Change the render engine to Cycles, not Eevee.
I’m tryna be the best custom content Creator 🥺
Could you pls check out your mail?
