For those using M1 mac - Here is a workaround: Install Adobe Photoshop version 22.1.1 as per normal on an intel Mac. Then move the Photoshop App from the intel Mac's Applications folder and then paste it into the M1 Mac's applications folder. ( will require you to copy and paste Photoshop app onto a removable storage device then attach removable storage device to the M1 Mac and simply copy and paste Photoshop app into Applications ) this is how I have working Photoshop on my M1 Mac Mini.
Im mad at myself for not thinking of this. It works!!! Had to copy the adobe creative cloud manager thingy from the utilities folder under applications and have it "repaired" automatically on my M1 mac but it ultimately works. good stuff thanks!
OMG, just received my M1 PRO yesterday and tried to install bunch of diff LR versions and none of them worked. I just airdropped ACC + LR from my working intel MBP and it worked!! it even has the issue where i have to open the app while holding down option key in order to create a new catalog everytime i open it but thats ok as long as it work.. im now going to try to update LR on the working intel to the latest Zii supported version and see if it works. thanks for the tip
What? Copying from another Mac? It seemed too easy - so I tried - it says "some of the application components are missing from the application directory. please reinstall the application", so it won't work.

I can download and install correctly but when opening an app (offline) I get an Adobe pop-up that App can't verify my Internet connection and asks to connect before opening. Since I connect to the internet, it asks for an account :/

For anyone who's an M1 mac, dowload older versions, i installed a 2020 version of adobe animate and it worked for me do not install earlier version 'cause for some reason it blocks idk why

For some reason the (Allow anyway) button doesn't show up for this, though it usually does. I even ran a terminal command to at the allow apps dwnlded from "anywhere" option and it still doesn't give me the allow anyway option.

Everything is well explained and very useful, but I still have a problem: when I meet the installation error 72 and I go to system preferences, there is no rilevation of the reading error, and so I can't do allow anyway. Anyone could help me? thanks

That means that you gave Adobe ALL your equipment info, IP and location, best case scenario they will deactivate it remotely, worst case scenario bill you for the amount of time you used it illegally.

when I click install, the password box doesn't come up. I still get an error message. I have made it to a different looking install page but it says it can't be installed on this disk because I need to select a destination and I need anticc, adobe cc desktop app, or after effects 22.5 to continue installing but when I try to install them, all three say “Install” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software. Help

Idk if this would help or not, but when you right click it , instead of clicking “open”, click “show package content” or whatever the second option is when you right click it
what can I do if it's not showing up when I put security and privacy? How do I give it permission?
I must have a different version because the security and privacy looks different for me and it does not work :/ This was the closest I got to getting it to work though.
