Georgi, you’re review is the best on this instrument I’ve seen on You Tube. You really put the Nova through its paces! You made me very aware of its sonority. One commenter on another video noted how the Enya sounded to him like a resonator guitar. Thanks to the ‘E hole’ on the top I can see how, depending on how the strings are attacked, the Nova can sound like a resonator. You brought out that sound quality briefly. It’s an incredibly versatile instrument that can lead to great flights of creativity!
Yeah it's actually got a wide sound scape considering its size and price range!
@@georgidobrevmusic I'm sorry it took me so long to see your reply. I absolutely agree with your take on the Enya's "soundscape", it is broad, to say the least. I recently raised the action a couple of hairs and now the instrument has more snap and bite. It's sustain acoustically is quite good. I have yet to plug it in and I've had it since March 7th. The Nova Go offers numerous possibilities. This is the first guitar I've really bonded with in years! Again, thank you for a grand review. It helped me make the decision to get the Enya.

A truck driver who’s limited on space and can leave guitar in truck in hot or cold weather. Yeah that’s who the guitar is for too. I’m thinking of getting one myself.
These are very expensive in UK sadly you can get the sparkley version in green or silver with all the Bells and whistles though the non plug in version
The price must be going up more and more as people purchase! I got mine quite cheap here in NZ

@@georgidobrevmusic Yep. I just ordered one myself. Totally an impulse buy (I already have 22 guitars/basses, LOL) but it looks like a fun little unit to have around. Got a deep discount, and just couldn't pass it up. (Just over 170$ shipped to my door.) Toss a set of elixirs on it and let the fun begin. :)

How does the volume compare with something like a good quality grand concert guitar (obviously it's not going to have the harmonic complexities That make it sound like high quality tone wood... Though it does seem resonant enough to sound good in its own right) But how is the projection and tonal balance? Does the materials density make it louder than it should be for its size? Is it significantly louder than most travel guitars? Also can the in body speaker increase the volume of the guitar or is it just pretty much good for reverb and the like? I guess that my add a little volume and complexity on its own.
It can be VERY loud. The speaker inside the guitar is one of the best speakers Ive ever heard. I think it's got a very well balanced tone and has a great bass response too
@@georgidobrevmusic been low key after a travel guitar... One that I actually would sometimes pick up at home instead of my favorite guitars... (This seems like a likely candidate!) Just looked on Amazon and there was a really good lightening deal with only 15 minutes left...So I pulled the trigger and have one coming soon. Thanks so much for the review! 👍 😎

What does the usb C do? I noticed it was there next to the output jack.
I believe it's just for charging. The app is entirely bluetooth!

Did the price on these change? I keep seeing "$200 guitar" but they are $280 US with $80 shipping.

There's two different versions. One without electronics is cheaper and the one eith electronics is more expensive. A lot of youtubers have gotten the price wrong

Which strings are you using?
Stock strings! Im not sure exactly what brand they are but they feel smooth.

@@georgidobrevmusic ...Plus (for the acoustic/electric) they are adding an extra 110$+ to it for shipping. And there is about a month of lead time on them right now. Seems like it is a pretty hot item at this time.
I bought one of their other guitars that turned out to be garbage.
*To play all the features you must download an app that didn't work, nor did it work when installed supposedly by the company.*
Also had bluetooth to play music when not playing the instrument.
*Without The Download It Would Play For 11 Minutes THEN SHUT OFF!*
I also had to modify the strap to keep from using the body frame.
Couldn't download the app, and it would stay on only for 11 minutes.
Sent it back. Cost $600.
*Never Buy A Guitar That Requires You To Download Apps Before You Can Use It.*
I can keep using a mini effects headphone amp and bluetooth speaker.
No downloading anything, or the company trying to sell me more stuff.
*They can stop the app anytime they want.*

The shit didn't work.
I followed all instructions and it should have been programmed, but it wasn't.
I went straight to the fucking company and the damned thing still didn't work. It wouldn't download the app and wouldn't stay on past 11 minutes.

i could not find a single reviewer to plug this into an amp or try the overdrive and distortion mode which is weird.
the distortion isnt amazing ngl. I was plugged into an amp for certain parts of the vid!
