It looks sooo beautiful! Thanks for posting this diy. I just ordered this product and it's nice see another woman doing the installation. We CAN do it!
Yes we can!!! It’s been up 2.5 years now and still holding strong without falling apart at all. I definitely recommend. I did a follow up video on this that I recommend you watch and alas a fellow kitchen update. Thank you for watching today! I really appreciate your support. Good luck on your project.
Thank you for watching! I did an update video on it 9 months later plus a final full kitchen reveal. I definitely recommend that you watch to see more insight on this tile! Thanks so much again for watching!
Glad you liked it. Please be soto check out my mosaic tile update video after 9 months of use. It’s another year on and I still love the tile. I’m sure you’re gonna love it.
Thank you! Please be sure to check out the tile update video released last week. I review how it’s held up after nearly a year of use. Thank you again for watching.
With all the added touches, it looks professional. You can be proud of it. Learn all you can and you can do many more projects. I love fixing and updating things around the house. You go girl !
Thank you for all the encouragement and thanks for watching. It’s been about 8 months and I want to do an update video. In short , I love love love the results and it’s holding up great. I appreciate your kind words and your confidence. Thank you!
Thank you! I was definitely looking at a plan B in case that didn’t work. If push came to shove, I’d have been willing to live with the wire out. I’ll put out an update video on this tile soon. It’s been up 9 months or so now. So I plan to let you all know how it’s holding up over time. Thank you again for watching!
Lol! I’m going to attempt to put a few of these behind my shampoo bowl at the salon. I got the mother of pearl ones like you and the guy said if I need to cut it I’ll need a ‘wet saw’ 😵 I definitely don’t have that. Everyone else is just using a straight razor. Soooooo I’m going to use a straight razor. Yours looks great! Wish me luck!!!
nicely done with the backsplash. i was going to do that when i rented my little place. i was recently able to buy it, so now i will have a contractor do a permanent backsplash. :)
Awesome! I better understand how to lay tile now. I keep thinking I may want to change this out but it’s holding well and I love it. I think this may have been either the first or second video I ever posted. Check out my update video on this tile when you have some time. Thanks for watching!
Good luck! I used a wall liner behind them and have had zero problems. But I want them to be easy to remove. I really believe you’re going to love the look.
Just purchased these tiles for my backsplash. I was concerned about how to trim them but your video has helped a lot. Yours came out beautiful. Wish me luck!
@@Grace26262 Thanks so much for watching! Glad I could help. I should also mention I ended up buying concrete nippers to snip individual tiles for certain spaces but the 3/4 inch trim was a lifesaver!
@@Grace26262 I hope you’re able to view my update video posted last week where I review this tile after having it on the wall for about 9 months. I demonstrate cutting the tile with nippers in that video which you may also find helpful.
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed the video and the results. And I’m glad you picked up on my authenticity! That’s part of my journey too and I want that to show front and center. I’m imperfect. I can be goofy at times. I spend plenty of time laughing at myself. I can’t always see the end from the beginning, but recognize Bruce Arian’s phrase “no risk it, no biscuit” applies to so many things worth having, so you gotta get out there and try your best. And if I can do it, anybody can. Amen! And p.s…. I hired a company to install the countertops and under mount sink on a package deal. Love the countertops- they are so beautiful !!! But my experience with the company wasn’t so great. Can’t recommend them.
Wow Jackie, that is slick! I’m looking at those peel and stick ones for my backsplash now. The crew who messed up my big bathroom tiles aren’t trustworthy for my kitchen. And I had chosen regular mosaic tiles exactly like yours from the tile shop but then switched to a large format thinking they’d be easier for these guys to put in (which they messed up in the bathroom anyway). I looked at the ones you got from Amazon, and I’m going to order a sample. Thanks for making it look easy enough.
The backsplash really complements your countertop! I'm making remodel changes to my kitchen as well and am so happy to have subscribed to your channel. 😊
Yay! I have enjoyed the backsplash in the months since I installed it. In the next video I will make a few tweaks to improve it and review how it’s holding since last summer’s installation. Spoiler alert: I still love it. ❤️❤️
I'd like to know if you had to move the outlet boxes forward to make up for the thickness of the tile, in order for the outlet covers to be screwed back on. Or would longer screws suffice?
Thank you. I didn’t touch the electrical- left the boxes where they were. I bought longer screws. I still have some footage of attempting to reinstall the old plastic covers and one of them cracked while I tried to make the shorter screws work. That was a bust, obviously. So I took the old screws to the hardware store and got the next longer size and it worked perfectly. Thank you for watching!
Hey Cheryl! I am doing it with wood trim and paint. I have a video out which shows the process called DIY Shaker Style Cabinets. Check it out! Thanks for watching.
@@JackieofAllTrades Well you did a fantastic job on your backsplash so much so that you inspired me to do my backsplash. Your kitchen is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

Hi , bought the same tiles but don't know what type of tile cutter you used? Bought one in home depot but it didn't work . Thanks .
I bought concrete nippers. Please see my tile update video where I show how I used them. Hopefully that helps. Thank you for watching!
