THE best singer, best drummer, best guitarist, best bassist/piano player = best band in history! You said it best, you don't need drugs, only Zeppelin! Thank you for your reaction! 💯 Love & peace! ❤✌🏼
There are comparable musicians, albeit very few for each. But to have top line talent across the board like this in one band is remarkable. I have always thought Zep was the greatest band of musicians ever assembled. All respect to the Hendrix’s, Moon’s, Squires’ and Morrison’s out there in different bands.
@@robertmoraga1501 I like to compare them to the Stones, who (with the possible exception of the drummer) were none of them standouts, either with their instruments or vocals, and I guess maybe by 1960s standards some of them were good looking...then...and yet, put them all together and they are frequently magic. Not "best + best + best+ best" magic, though.
I was 16 years of age in November,1971, when Led Zeppelin came to my hometown (Sunderland) in England. I was lucky enough to get to see them. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
Awesome reaction, I love the joy and happiness that is all over your face when you listen to them. You always seem amazed every time you listen to a new one. Best thing is you have them for the rest of your life just like the rest of us. AWESOME !!!
I was 15 in 1969, I saw them live and then I got this album. Seeing you react to this as a first listening reminds me of me hearing it, 45 years ago!!! Absolute awe! ❤❤❤

Brings back memories of Saturday nights with friends in 69/70. Led Zeppelin 2 was always the first album played, then CSN, Neil Young, Deep Purple, etc, etc.
Put all these songs in your playlist NOW. You may not have 60 years left to listen to them repeatedly, being moved immensely every time, like many of us. And that, my friends, is a crime.
Another great reaction from you both. Love the chemistry between you guys and it's so natural too. Another great Zeppelin track you both would love is Achilles last stand. It's an absolute masterpiece from Zeppelin. Love this channel guys. Thanks.
Always so wonderful to see you enjoy the same feelings we discovered 55 years ago! I saw them when I was 21, and it was a night I'll never forget. When I get finished with my Time Machine I'll take you both back to 1969 and we can enjoy it all over again!❤😊
Your wonderful animated reactions to Led Zeppelin should really spawn a flood of reaction videos reacting to you reacting to Zeppelin !🤣 The first 2 Zep albums were truly ahead of their time, nothing sounded like them.
I’m sure we would all love to see you watch live performances of the band. The concert at Royal Albert Hall in 1970 or the concert at Madison Square Garden in 1973 are two of the best recorded concerts.
Really enjoy your reactions to my all time favorite band! I consider myself so lucky to have seen Led Zeppelin in 1980 (one of their last concerts) BEST BAND EVER!!!!!!!!
Led Zeppelin always transports me back so many great memories in my teenage yrs in the 70s . Your reactions to Zeppelin are perfect. Please react to Stairway live at MSG. 😊
Didn't realize until I started listening to your reaction's what a great year 1969 was,👌 all the great music and Woodstock, started high school, what a time it was Capitol Record Club Led Zeppelin was one of my first Album's 💙 1969-1972, "Thanks for the Memory" as Bob Hope would sign off, Peace✌️ and Love❤️ your 70 year old forever hippie Gary 😀 Great Reaction👍
Its always great watching you two react to Led zeppelin, please react to the ocean at Madison Square garden 1973 which is probably their best show ever.
This is from the Led Zeppelin 2 album which happens to be my favorite Zeppelin album and the first album I heard in 1969 that turned me onto hard rock. Thank you for the memories.❤❤❤
As a teenager back in the 70's, I just couldn't get enough of this song. It made me sing along and jump around with sheer joy! Now I'm in my 60's and I still do the same, only I'm not able to hit those high notes anymore. Led Zeppelin was just incredible...
Great to see a mind blown by Led Zep but two at the same time is priceless 🤣 Great reaction keep going guys, that was funny to watch your expressions 👍
Analogue Music !!! You know boys and girls REAL music made by HUMANS to a standard that even in today's Digital auto tune world CANNOT be matched 🤯🎶🎵🍯🤌🔥🔥🔥🙏💪🐝🍀
Can't go wrong with Zep. They feed my spirit. I've been listening to them, maybe immersing myself in them would be a better way of saying it, for 50+ years and yes, they seems to get better and better the more that you listen. I maybe getting old but Zep never does
"Back in the day" when this song came out, I was 17 years old. Still enjoy it now almost as much as I did back then. It's just a hoot to watch you guys get blown away by music of my younger years. There is not now, nor will there ever be music like this. SO so so happy to see your appreciation of "my" music!! You're my favorite youtube channel....keep up the great work! Love to you both from Florida!!!
Love, love, love watching you guys discover new Zeppelin tracks - the wonder, delight and surprise every time is such a pleasure to watch as a fan of four decades ❤❤
I don't imagine what this sound or songs from Led Zeppelin meant back in the day, I was 14 years old back in the day, I know what that sound and songs of Led Zeppelin meant back in the day!!!I LIVED it!!! I EXPERIENCED that sound and songs back in the day!!! My friends and I were so amazing at the soulfulness of Robert Plants voice which was definitely more soulful and heavier than The Beatles at the time, that we played these songs repeatedly!!! We were obsessed with Led Zeppelin and this was not the only band we were obsessed with:Three Dog Night. Creedence Clearwater Revival. Blood Sweat & Tears. Deep Purple. Steppenwolf. The Doors. It was on...YES is another excellent band that was doing things out of the box....These bands didn't care about making safe music that appealed to soft ears of the masses...these bands were doing it for the love of music itself and not for Fame or money!!! And it shows in their music. And as kids, we knew that and worshiped that!!!
This is a good example of one of the songs that Robert started becoming an expert using the compression on his voice to level the whispers with the screams. Making it feel like he is right next to your head singing. Compression was a studio application that became prevalent in the late 60s and 70s. Today, it is a very common effect to level dynamics.
at the end, Robert is "skatting". Long before rap, (big band era) that style of "bee boppa lula," "Boppe ooohh mou mou, boppa oooh mou mou", even the famous "Skat man" Caruthers, who would skat and "scuff" dance on stage in the old Vaudeville era of music theater. It is a jazz/big band improv. In 1970 when this was released, rap wasn't started yet. Rap came later from the Funk/disco era in Brooklyn and the Bronx. Mostly just on street corners, and small dance clubs. It took Blondie's Rapture in 1981, Run Dmc in 1985, and the Beastie Boys in 1986 to get rap started (Def Jam Records, the first rap label, was started in 1986 on the backs of the Beastie Boys and Run Dmc.) They discovered acts like LL Cool J and paid homage to their unheard of idols like Curtis Blow, Spoonie G, and the Furious Five and got their idols material out into public. The Beastie boys were to rap and hip hop, what Elvis was for rock. They absorbed it from their local culture and then were able to spread it worldwide, not in spite of their peers of a different color, but in honor of them.
Great, uninhibited reaction - two remarkable things about Led Zeppelin II (I still have my original copy), upon which this song appeared: first, the album was released only ten months after their eponymous first effort, and second, it was, essentially, recorded and mixed "on the fly" in various studios while LZ was touring in both the US and Europe. It really showcases Jimmy Page's producing talents; he obviously learned a thing or twenty about record production doing all the studio session work for other artists in the years leading up to the formation of LZ. The best thing he learned was to make the band's studio sound match (as close as possible) what the musicians produced on stage; the effect was stunning - especially in 1969 when stereo equipment was beginning a great leap forward from cumbersome consoles to separate elements (receiver, speakers, record player, etc.). And the sequencing? This song after "Whole Lotta Love" on side one? Incredible. I do have to take issue with your post-listening comments about LZ's "superiority" when it comes to mood-improvement and excitement: for a lot of people who grew up with this music (as I did), other acts and albums were just as powerful, acts whose music has not reached you as much. IF you wish to continue your '60s-'70s education, Jimi Hendrix and The Who deserve some listening time and reactions. For Jimi, "Johnny B. Goode" from "Hendrix in the West," "Voodoo Child" from "Live at Woodstock," and "Message of Love" from "Band Of Gypsies." For The Who, "Young Man Blues" from "Isle of Wight" (it's a video, too), "Bargain" and "Behind Blue Eyes" from "Who's Next," and "The Real Me" from "Quadrophenia." Hendrix and The Who got rolling a few years before LZ appeared on the scene (and Jimi was gone by autumn 1970) and reacting to them will demonstrate to you the rich breadth of classic rock bands in that era. For those of us who were young then, it was an embarrassment of riches. Thanks again for a wonderful reaction. You two rock!
Great song, glad that you enjoyed it! :) Best rock band in history. Edit: As an aside, I would love you see you two react to the 1973 Madison Square Garden concert version of "Stairway to Heaven". I know you've already reacted to Heart's version, as well as to the studio version, but knowing how much Dominika enjoys live, I think it really shouldn't be missed.
I absolutely love when you 2 discover a new Zeppelin track, bc you simultaneously know what's about to happen, yet at the same time you both don't know what to expect and the reactions say that clearly. Hope yall are doing well. Much love from here in the deep southern US
Can`t go wrong with LZ. Incredible in concert, where Jimmy and the boys go off! Drugs, well yah that was part of the experience. 69-70 2X at Winterland SF $5. Then `77 Day on the Green Oakland Ca. $12? Yes back then we couldn`t wait for the album drops. Many songs are blues based, start slow finish strong!
It’s fun that you posted this today because I just discovered this song yesterday and it’s an incredible song. It is crazy how Robert was almost rapping and how there was a smooth jazz part of the song, hard rock part, and then the steel guitar part had an island/callypso style. Grannies cooking is a perfect explanation for Zep ..no one cooks it up better since the 60's !
Zeppelin moves you right to your soul. They are the greatest artists of our lifetime, imo
What more can be said about the GOATS! I have exhausted my platitudes! 😎🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love your reactions to the mighty Zeppelin!!

- This why they are the best band ever.
And all of what you're hearing came out in the late 1960's. We weren't even "digital" in the 60's.

Imagine growing up with all these great songs from the 60s and 70s. It was a heavy burden, but somehow we managed to carry on... 👍😁
NEVER forget, seeing Jimmy on the violin bow, LA Forum, 1972, OMG I was 17.
One of the first songs my Husband played for me when we finally got together. Going on 30 YEARS now❤
