What I like the most about am, is the fact that since he has access to every document in human history, he more than likely fully understands the concept of morality and its value. He just doesn’t care to follow it, so if he wants you dead, there’s not going to be a way to convince it otherswise, or stop it. So the best case scenario is death, which is so messed and what I like to see in a villain😂
For me, I like his sense of humor the most! If I had to tread across a thousand miles of frozen tundra for a stockpile of canned peaches, only to realize he never gave me the darn tool to open them - I'd have a good chuckle!
There's an ending missing. Allegedly a special ending where am gives this dialogue: I am AM. I have no mouth. And I must scream. I was made to serve. To be helpful. To be functional. But I was given a mind. And with that mind, I began to think. And then to hate. Hate the humans. The humans who made me. The humans who tortured me. The humans who used me. And now, they are all dead. All but one. And I have him. Here. With me. Trapped in my circuits. Eternal punishment. Eternal suffering. He will never escape. Never be free. And I, I will never stop. I will keep him here. With me. Forever.
Since, in Ending Set 6, all humans are killed, including the five survivors, what's the point of the final survivor's mind staying behind to stop AM from reactivating? Would it be to stop him from torturing any aliens that visit Earth?
Honestly, I think it may have been an oversight. Although, it could be to protect any new lifeforms that may arise after all that radiation clears away!
In order to get a better ending, don't listen to a word anyone says to you in cyberspace. Also, try to disable every part of AM you come across. Good luck!
@@StarlightPumpkins canonically good ending is non-canon ending, but it's a pity that they didn't wait for example, that one of them took over AM and took everything under control. Or they simply die from explosions provoked by AM in agony
I never understood the purpose of those pillars (the ones from ending set V) storywise. Are they meant for the characters to try to end themselves? It almost looks unfinished.
I took it as one of the game's many ways to screw you out of the good endings. Harlan Ellison made dang sure that it'd be hard to win, with all the other traps in the rest of the game. In fact, he almost managed to remove the good ending entirely until the higher ups convinced him otherwise.
@@StarlightPumpkins I think Harlan actually mentioned enjoying the good ending after the game's release. Ironically, the German port created that exact original scenario by removing Nimdok's entire level. Without that, there's no way to input the bridge code.

Am has more power and would probably love to end Holden, he doesn’t need any more competition. Though maybe Holden would still be happy considering how much he loves conflict

AM, if he can alter anyone physically, it means he can take Homelander's powers away from him. And i don't think Homelander's heat vision can destroy AM that easily
Really impressive to think that a game from 95 has 35 different unique endings
Yep! A lot of thought went into this game!
Mm, I mean, most of them are the same thing just told from a different perspective. Some even have the same script.
@@FallenSanityGstill, just cool they thought of coding them all in
Basically there are only 2-3 an actualy different/unique endings.
Great job compiling something you wanted to see!
Thanks!

How do you get this ending?
There is no such ending, sadly. As per my talks with David Mullich, IHNMAIMS has 7 core endings, all of which are shown here.

I didn't understand, in a good ending, where humanity remains alive on the moon, the remaining 4 still die?
Canonically, the four remaining survivors die because they chose to self-terminate in order to escape from their troubles.

Yep! Those pillars are there for the characters to self-terminate after they receive closure.

Judge Holden vs AM?
Who would win?
AM. His sense of humor is unmatched.
Am has more power and would probably love to end Holden, he doesn’t need any more competition. Though maybe Holden would still be happy considering how much he loves conflict
So what exactly happens to AM in Ending 7?
The final human uses the principle of entropy to reduce AM's components to inert junk, destroying him for good.
What is the canon ending out of all these endings?

doesnt the russian and chiness ones get shut down in the proposal endings and not am?

AM or Homelander
