Congrats on the new machines. We love our 35G and use it for land clearing on our property as well. Sometimes I find using the blade to push the brush out of the ground goes faster than using the thumb and bucket. Of course it depends on what we are clearing. We also find it much easier to push over small trees than to cut them and then dig up the roots. I know you'll really enjoy the machine and like you said, I think it is just the right size to get the job done and maneuver through the trees. It's also very helpful around the sawmill as well. Heck we've even done a little gardening prep with it and use it to turn our compost as well.

Thanks for watching! After using it for a few days now I really do think it is just the right size for clearing brush and generally sprucing up the place. There are some trees that are a bit large, but I can generally fall the tree and then dig out the stump.

Adding a smaller 17G to the property here. Really enjoy your videos!

I’m debating either one of these or a Kubota

I really don’t know much about Kubota but, I’m really happy with my JD. I suspect, in the end, there’s not a lot of difference.

Love my 35G ! Don’t worry practice makes perfect! What size bucket do have on?

Hello, it’s an 18’ bucket. I’m thinking of putting the 12” bucket on. I think may be easier to dig the stumps out with it.

12" bucket won't work with the thumb. The teeth won't mesh together.

Congrats. I have the same machine... life doesn't get much better 👍. For tree removal, you might want a Ripper. You can prolly make one as they're not cheap. I hope Papé included a proper Warranty with your new machine- there was a younger guy on the excavator forum who purchased a new 35G from them for the small business with his female partner, and the Pump went early on. Papé covered it. But soon after That Pump went too (i know, unheard-of). Well guess what the guy found out? ...Papé had sold him a Proper Warranty with his machine. Most dealers default is 2yr/2khrs. But he only had like 1yr and 500hrs, which is absolutely, totally unacceptable for those machines. Poor guy said he was fed up and switching to JCB~

Thank you! I've had really good luck with Papé over the years. I do have a pretty good warranty on the machine as well.

Great video. Is that the 18’ or 24’ bucket?

Try to stabilize your arms on rests , and only move hands. And lower throttle if you need to

Good Advice. I have since discovered that running it in eco mode is much smoother.
