I just went to NC. To where my bud works cause his 15 f250 diesel wouldnt start no communication is wat snapon scanner said it turned out to be at underside of fues box 2 wires were ate plum in2 with green crust
Hey Philip, I have no WTS, Will Crank, No start, No communication with ECM (OBD2 port has power but wont talk to scan tool) any information would be great! Its on a 1999 F-250 7.3l Powerstroke
Does the MIL turn on with the ignition? Can the scan tool talk to other modules on the network? Test fuses that power the ECM, test for power and ground at the ECM plug. See if the ECM is outputting a 5 volt reference to a sensor such as the exhaust back pressure sensor. Try a different scan tool.
