That must have been hard for Dave Grohl to carry the weight that Neil Peart bore and honoring the surviving members of Rush playing this song of another band who lost their drummer. And Grohl just lost his mother on top of that.......My heart and hat is off to him......Respect!

I've seen this before and I still get teary-eyed. RIP Neil Peart and God Bless Alex and Geddy. I believe I was 10 years old when my brother came in with 2112 then going to their concert in 1976 Live at Comiskey Park Chicago, Illinois. My brother brought some cigarettes that had me enjoying the concert. I remember asking my brother for some Chicago Dogs and soda before we left because for some reason I was really hungry. He did with the understanding that I not say anything about the smoking cigarettes.

Peart was pure precision, no doubt. That's what you want in a drummer. You don't want them going off the rails. Grohl held to the original sound. But he did show more emotion. Who wouldn't playing for an iconic band like Rush? Peart was not about accolades. He was about getting it right. Every Time.

Deep undercover with Mister Rogers, Bob Ross, John Denver, Tiny Tim, Hank Jr, Willie Nelson, Johnny Carson, Kaptain Kangaroo, Slim Whitman, Paul Simon, Andy Gibb, Waylon Jennings, Ted Nugent, Gene Simmons, Elton John, Jerry Lee Lewis, Little Richard, and Clint Eastwood. Elvis was on their team until the drugs got him. We lost the war in Vietnam because of Elvis` weight problem. Just disgusting! Andy Gibb and John Denver would still be alive if not for Elvis! Have been a fan for some decades, and always wished I knew more about that guy but there was so little information about the early years. I liked that first record as much as any band's first record and seeing Grohl here just reminds that there's no one perfect way to play the drums. That being said, all this did was remind me of how much the world lost with the passing of Niel Peart. Thankfully, Dave made the drum licks his own and didn't try to emulate Niel's style - rather, he did the Grohl and beat the hell out of the kit

2 missing drummers, both special in their own way. RIP Neil, you are still missed. RIP Taylor, I am still unable to process it. All being said, Dave had a workout playing Neil's part on Working man. Still a great drummer.

I can only imagine how Taylor would feel if you were still around, what an amazing feeling it must've been snow you've touched the lives of so many people so deeply and powerfully.
